All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.
We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .

No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

Spent a week in Sunny Beach in September, resort was spotlessly clean with a beautiful sandy beach and has wide variety of bars to suit all tastes.
Would definately recommend a visit to Bulgaria.

The resort itself is clean and tidy. People are friendly even though you get constantly hassled to go in to their establishments. nobody warns about the young children in the resort that hassle you for your change all the time.
The resort entertainmet is ok for adults as their is plenty of disco bars and beach bars, but for children it is very poor unless they like to sit in a bar allnight.
Their was the odd pub that did cater for children buth they were few and far between.oh their are some bouncy castles along the beach front for them to go on thats about it.
The beach was full of cigarett ends all over. you have to pay for the sun beds and the umberellas seperatly to use them.

Sunny beach was very impressive plenty going on at night lots of bars and restaurants which were extremely cheap.
There are a lot of shops offering mainly clothing which was also cheap and of a good quality.
Beach is massive and has plenty of watersports on offer.
Would definately go back to sunny beach

The resort centre was clean the entertainment was ok but it was the end of the season The beach was over crowded with sunbeds packed in like sardines but was clean and a nice beach.We would not visit this resort again because its a sun worshipers paradise not much else to do.

walking around it was clean, the beach was full of used condoms of the prostitutes the night before disgusting!!!!entertainment was ok. if you could avoid being pestered by small children begging for money not food as they didn't want food just money of you.the prostitutes would approach you wether in a group or not saying i love you igive you blow job that was to my 15 years old son it was appalling as i had my 6 year old daughter with us not my sort of family holiday i will not return to this resort again

Sunny Beach is a very purpose built resort. Hotels are all close to the sea front and lined with stalls selling the same tacky souvenirs and fake designer gear; begging children also pester you. If you are just going for the beach though you won't be disappointed, the white sandy beaches stretch for miles. Just be aware of the jellyfish if you are intending to take a dip in the sea!
Don't expect Bulgarian culture in SB, there isn't any. However if you take the time to explore Bulgaria you will be pleasantly surprised, the further out you go the cheaper things are and more culture there is.
I personally wouldn't bother to go back to Sunny Beach but overall SB does makes a great cheap one week getaway if that's all you are after!

We found Sunny beach resort to be an ideal holiday location
all bars, shops & restraunts etc are easily accesable, the staff at all of these are very friendly most speak very good English & German. They constantly clean up around their premises so there is little problem with litter.
There are plenty of sunbeds available on the beach.
You need to be wary of scooters bikes etc along the promanade as there are quite a lot of them but they are no problem as long as you are aware of them.

Sunny Beach is OK but not much there apart from the beach,good restaurants and fake Diesel cloths the whole place is awash with shops and stalls all trying to sell exactly the same gear.

Bulgaria is very cheap and the barbaque restaurants are a must. Tonys bar is good for kareoke nights.
Hotel is surrounded by bars which are also restaurants. Excellent bar attatched to the hotel which is a irish bar, another cocktail bar further down the road where they do the old tom cruise tricks!! Most cocktails are 2 4 1 and larger very cheap and nice.
Short walk into the main strip but little trains that run on the roads run regularly and are 2 lev take a walk along the promonade there is lots to do.
Sunny beach is very busy although we didnt go to beach much, it was very clean and pretty. Shops sell copies mainly bags, clothes and purfume but they are excellent copies.

Resort was what we were expecting from what we had heard.
We liked the beach but be careful of the jellyfish in the sea. Resort entertainment was average- bars, clubs, crazy golf, lots of shops.
Didn't like seeing cruelty to the bears at all! Maybe the conditions of the country will improve in time its just said to see the gypsy kids and the animals!
We would not go back.
