We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.
We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .

No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby
Keep away please.

Something for every one from kids shows to jetskis,
erotic bars to bingo, it has the lot. Horse rides on the beach and my favourite quad bike tours along the coast.
All activities are half the price you would pay in Spain.
Lifeguards every 100m along the beach and it slopes very slowly very clean also. In comparison to resort cleanliness a lot cleaner than when I was in Puerto Rico in Gran Canaria in June, so I would highly recommend Sunny Beach.
but please dont encourage the idiot with the dancing bear just walk past him.

sunny beach was clean, but could do with a few more litter bins along walkways. entertainment was good, with plenty of side stalls at night when everything comes alive.food was aplenty, but wasn`t hungry after evening meal at hotel.beach was clean but wasn`t keen on the jellyfish in the sea, but they seem to entertain the kids when they were fished out of the sea onto the beach.
yes we would visit the resort again

Resort was very clean also never seen one bit of trouble when we were there.Plenty of entertainment for adults not much for kids though.
Beach was spotless just the fact having to pay to lie on a sun lounger lol.
A bit concerned about letting young ones drive scooters round the resort , surprised there was,nt any serious accidents.
All in all excellent holiday and will be going back next year.

Having been twice, I found that the limited entertainment meant we were stuck for things to do, especially as we had 7/14 days of bad weather, a couple of days I was the only one on the beach and the only daft sod in the sea, If you like kareoke, fizzy beer and lashings of good cheap food you'll love it. If you like real ale and culture maybe not.
One tip for those going to Sunny Beach, where the centre of the resort is, there are a set of traffic lights where the main road goes around the encampment, on the other side of the road (from the sea) is a market, there are lots of eateries around this area, asome on the main road itself facing the resort where food and drink is a fraction of the price inside the resort itself. One I personally liked was along the road towareds the bus station (can't remember the name - something gardens I think) massive meals but very very busy with loads of locals eating there.

The resort on the whole was excellent. The holiday village is in between two other hotels, of which the guests can use the village facilities, but the village guests can not use their facilities. The beach has life guards placed all the way along who are friendly and will often play with the children.
The animation team are great and played beach sports all day and then did the shows in the evening.

Not sure why some people couldn't find any entertainment but there were more than enough bars and clubs to keep us going and we were out from 6pm till 6 am every night. All staff in bars and restaurants were very friendly and a great laugh. Costs are so low that you almost feel guilty!
Beach is fantastic but charging for sunbeds is a little high!
Some kids were begging but just be polite and say "no". Saw no ladies of the night so obviously you need to be looking for them to see them.
I will be going back to Sunny Beach this year!

Beach was nice. We tended to stay to the south end nearer to the hotel, where it was backed by sand dunes - any further south towards Nesebar and we would have been on the nudist beach!
Plenty of kiosks and shops of all varieties to wander around. Lots of choice for bars and food. Plenty of 'noisy' entertainment in the evenings if you enjoy a beer and a live band or karioke.
Enjoyed exploring the resort to the north on foot, and when tired just hopped on one of the frequent road-trains that travel the whole length.
There were bungy jump type of rides for those who dared, plus paragliding over the water, and a ferry to Nesebar to sightsee there.
A lively resort with something for everyone, but very busy at the height of the season.

The beach and surrounding areas were very clean, and there was plenty to do during both day and night. But watch out for men with snakes and lizards at night trying to throw them on to you and take pictures.
Beach was nice but very, very busy.
