All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .
Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.

No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

The beach was lovely with plenty of sunbeds, and not too close to each other.
Some of the bars are aimed at westerners and too British. Had some lovely meals out and so cheap, a pint of local beer 40p. Had a trip on boat over to nessebar by Bourgas hotel jettylovely day.
However we were shown onto a different boat on the way back, after asking 4 times if he would be taking us back to Bourgas hotel jetty he said yes. We were infact taken to the middle of Sunny Beach, a copmplete rip off. the owner of the boat just laughed and siad boat too big to dock at Bourgas. I think this is a regular scam so be warned make sure you check. Took us over an hour to get back to our hotel.

The resort was reasonably clean, but with all the takeaways appearing on the streets and lack of bins it is gradually getting untidy.
There is plenty of entertainment around the resort what you want.
The standard of the beach was good, but once again lacking in bins.
No I would not return to this resort again too much like. spain.

Sunny beach is very commercialised. If you like places like Benidorm or Blackpool (on a smaller scale) you'll have a great time.Plenty of shops even though they are much the same with really cheap shoes and clothes. The quality seemed to differ from shop to shop so be carefull. I bought loads of jackets and t- shirts for my 2 sons aged 19 and 22. Haven't been washed yet so we'll wait and see. The sizing is a bit hit and miss. some of the men's t shirts that say medium are really quite big, on the other hand I had to buy underwear for myself labelled xxxl eventhough I'm only 9 stone and a size 10 -12.
Be aware of the gypsies and beggars ooperating in the resort. They look quite pitiful.
The beaches are full of sunbeds and parasols. We paid 18 levs for 2 beds and a parasol for the day. The sea is lovely and clear, sometimes calm and sometimes with some great waves.
The drinks and food are dirt cheap so self catering would be a good option as long as you can find reputable accomodation of this kind.
Personally, I wouldn't visit here again. I found it too busy and didn't find much Bulgarian culture here. I like traditional foreign holidays where I'll find a taste of the true nation.

the resort itself seemed to be clean enough, with people cleaning rubbish etc.
entertainment, well there was something for everybody, from magic acts for the kids all the way to adult bars for the biguns, every bar we went in had live music of some discription, during the day there was plenty to keep you going from beach sports to having a go on the scooters etc,
the beach was lovely nice fine sand warm sea, only thing we could fault it with was that there was lots of fag buts usually just buried bellow the surface, the beach was 'swept' every night

Resort entertainment did not go too far at night. It gets very lively.
Our two kids would not sit in bars.There was a lot of scooter, golfcarts and quadbikes about so be careful when out and about. Children even go on them on their own no adults with them, they hire them to anyone.
The beaches have life guards on they have flags up that say is the sea is safe to enter or not. Sunbeds and umbrellas are on the beach to hire. Can't see any sand at all beacause they have so many umbrellas up.The sea got a lot of jellyfish and sea weed. The water is warmer then the hotel pool.
Beware of pick pockets down on the beach don't leave your things unattended.

We didnt really know what to expect from Sunny Beach and were surprised at how commercialised it was - a bit like Butlins really.
The beach was gorgeous but very busy (to be expected in the middle of August though).
It is so cheap to eat out in the resort - we were struggling to spend our money!

Sunny Beach has something for everyone and it really is as cheap as everyones says.
There was always plenty for the kids to do and loads of stalls and shops full of wee bargains. You could go with an empty suitcase and buy all your summerwear over there for very little money.
Beach was really nice, sea was warm. Just a pity that so much of the beach is taken up with beds and parasols, doesnt leave much room for the kids to play. I will be going to Sunny beach again.

sunny beach is very busy with lots of stalls ,restaraunts etc. there is loads to do and as its such a big resort there is something for everyone.

sunny beach is worth a visit but was not for us much too commercialised. it is a clean place plenty of food places along the front which were very nice and cheap,some of the bars and restaurants had entertainment in them which were free of charge, and all the staff in the shops and bars were very friendly. the beach is clean with plenty of watersports happening.

Beach is lovely, but as I have visited the resort 15 years ago I feel there had been a lot of changes some good and some not so good.
