We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.
We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .

No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby
Keep away please.

I liked Sunny Beach as a resort. It has plenty to offer in terms of food, shops and beach and is ideal for families with young children. The resort is very clean.
It is a little remote (as are all the resorts in Bulgaria) from the rest of Bulgaria and it isn't easy to find your own way round on your own - transport systems aren't good. We went on a couple of excursions and took the local bus to Nessebar a few times. Nessebar is very close and it is a very pretty village/port. The richest village in BG.
Everything is compact in the resort and nothing is too far from the beach, wherever you choose to stay. The beach is a little spoilt by rows and rows of plastic umbrellas. I'd like to have seen palm tree/leaf style umbrellas. You won't get too lost wandering around.
Bulgarian people are incredibly friendly and many want to ask you where you are from and about your life. They want to sell you their goods or go to their restaurant but don't push, if you say no they say ok, maybe later.
I am unlikely to return as this really isn't my kind of holiday. Maybe for a few days if I was going inland and just wanted a few days at the beach afterwards.

Sunny beach is lovely and clean although it was hard to find any bins and there is a lack of toilets.
Entertainment same in every bar and hotel, repeatedly playing who the **** is alice!
Beach is nice, no rubbish on it at all and water is totally clear!

Sunny beach is an excellent resort for sun worshipers as the beach is very clean and the sea is warm and not very salty it's quite shallow making it safe for children.
There are a lot of very nice hotels but not many of them seem to offer entertainment. There are a lot of very nice resaurants which offer a wide variety of excellent food.
However the stalls along the main shopping area all seem to offer basically the same things. There are a few night clubs and some bars offer entertainment but there is nothing much for children to do on a night once you have eaten.
I would definitely come back to Sunny Beach in a few years time when hopfully the night will be as enjoyable as the days.

Sunny Beach itself is quite confusing to get around because of its shear size and the fact that any spare land that was once there now has a huge hotel stuck on it.
Along the seafront there are stalls, shops, bars, discos, rides for young and old- very lively. The beach is perfect clean sand and sea, very shallow water for a good bit out, the beach is split into sections and each section has a lifeguard who seem very alert.
The safest beach I have been on especially for kids. There is also plenty of choice for watersports which are reasonably priced.
If you visit Sunny Beach you will find that your money will go a long way. Its just a shame that the place seems to be lacking in character (it could be anywhere)

On a whole Sunny beach is very commercialised and seems to be over run by Brits, I only complain here because I really don't usually go on holiday to be surrounded by people of my own nationality, I could have stayed at home and done that.

the cleanliness of the resort was average, although some of the toilets where pretty disgusting and most of them charged 50 stinkys for the use of them, even if you where eating and drinking on the premises. there was a few good bars with good family entertainment including gypsy camp and neptune bar and the food was brill. was not impressed with the beach, it was full of fag ends and bottles. was charged 6 lev per sunbed per day and also 6 lev for a parasol even though we didnt want to use it. also cost 6 lev to sunbathe on the sand without a bed. most of the locals are ok and shopping is good. maybe visit resort in about 10 years when it has caught up with the standards of other resorts.

McDonalds a life saver as food just did'nt agree with us apart from toast and cheese. Beach nice apart from the sicko's going about with reptiles and the mountain people with those poor bears.

First of all shops, shops, and more shops selling all the same things.
People was trying to drag us into shops all the time, one man was swatting flies with his pancake knife on one stall.
After I had bought one off him.no entertiment for the young.the beach was to small for each hotel.not like it said in our holiday brochure. Its is not the place for a family holiday I would rate the Grand hotel 2 star

Sunny Beach is getting a bit to spoiled for my liking justfull of tit tat. Too many buildings about if you want to see the real Bulgaria then don't go to sunny beach.
