All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .
Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.

No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

Sunny Beach is excellent!!! I could not fault it. There is loads to do from Khans Tent(brill night out), to the aqau park. There is also neesebar which is a nice market place. Do not go on the dolphin trip to Varna! The journey takes forever and the dolphins are kept in a tiny pool where they can barley jump. Also avoid going on the Bulgarian night with the reps as aain the journey is horrendous as is the food you are served!
The beach is one of the best i have seen and the locals are really friendly. It is soo cheap to eat and drink out and it seens its happy hour 24-7.
I would definitely recommend sunny beach to anyone.

resort clean local entertainment.try millies or tonys if you have children with you and you like karaeoke.taxis are rip offs.use bus or for 2 levs use the resort train it travels all roud sunny beach.the yahoo or kabul hotels are the best.would never go back the weather is more rain than sun.last words a great resort..............

the resort of sunny beach is quite a lively resort the beach is great with plenty of watersports for the more adventurous the entertainment for the whole family is a bit limited but all in all an enjoyable place to visit with plenty of resteraunts and bars and youve got to try the chicken kebabs

Just back (thank goodness) this was not a resort for my family ,it may have been OK for one week bit by week two we were counting the hours till we could get home, after the first week we had done all there was to do and were totally bored.
On the plus points nessabar is nice if you like shopping and can put up with the rude Germans pushing you about also the beach is lovely.
The food is awful and we spent most of our time at McDonald's which was more expensive than here. We would not go back to this resort.

Found this resort quite dirty, food not cooked properly.
Toilets in resort very dirty. No entertainment not worth the bother just for cheep booze and food you can't eat.
My verdict a dump.

i am an 19 year old girl who is not quiet but not to wild and found sunny beach the perfect holiday. i travelled with my boyfriend, his parents and 3 year old sister. i was really surprised at how big and lively the resort actually is and people of all nationalities holiday there. the food is lovely and more importantly cheap! for four good sized meals (including two steak meals) and a kiddies meal and two bottles of wine we paid £30. drinks are also very cheap(they are cheaper in the shops than they are in the bars) about 80p for pint and nearly all the bars have happy hour. the bars are quite varied which is good, theres quiet bars and loud disco bars which are very lively for younger people, bar extreme is good for young people. bulgarian people are very nice and welcoming. only annoying thing is mopeds and golf carts are constantly driven down the main strips, some as young as eight are allowed to hire them and its only a matter of time before someone gets hurt. i loved my hol and would definitly recomend it, iv even bought an appatrtment there! overall lovely place, i just hope it doesnt become the new benidorm. places to go- red lion, the fat cat, extreme and definitly bar mexico(great staff and cheap as chips)

Found the resort to be very busy at times and very noisy.
Shoppers paradise. If you buy games or dvd's the shopkeepers are quite happy for you to try them to make sure they work ok.
Found plenty to do lots of minigolf and rides which we used over and over. Didnt spend any time in the bars but the music we heard was very repetitive.
As a single parent I felt very safe in the resort. Loads of families. Never saw any trouble. The beach is lovely but can be very expensive for beds and brollies. Found the food to be pretty good and so cheap.

Sunny beach resort is excellent. Stayed at end of sunny beach so in quiter area, but could take the 'wally trolley' (train) to main centre for just 2levs.
Nearly every bar has happy hour all day and night so drinks are bargains all in themselves - half a litre of beer no more than 80p and variety of coctails excellent. Lots of karaoke bars and a few main nightclubs.
Bar staff very friendly - tommy from Frankies bar is brilliant, definitely a must-see. Beach very clean - can get lunch and a massage for 10levs (£4). Will be going again.

Sunny Beach - excellent, plenty of bars/restaurants, you do get a bit of hassle from people trying to get you to eat and drink at their place.
Lots of shopping/markets.
The resort is changing all time I was there last October and it has changed since then.

Sunny Beach itself has got so big we were there 4 years ago and it has drastically changed they are putting up properties in every available space,but there is plenty to do now for families compared to 4 years ago,we found the beach was not as clean as we remembered so spent more time at the hotel pool or waterpark a great day out for the whole family! I would go back again as we do like sunny beach but i think before long it will end up too overcrowded....people say you cant spend your money you can but you certainly get more for it than other places abroad.
