All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .
Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.

No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

The resort is a tourist resort there are plenty of places to visit. Old Nesebar is a must but not by bus if you can help it because they are very crowded and hot.
Would recommend monster truck excursion but Khans tent ok but wouldn't go again. Loads of good bars and restaurants to suit everyone baked potatoes and pancakes to die for.

We were quite surprised when we arrived in Bulgaria,we didn't really know what to expect after hearing so many different opinions.
We all loved it, it is a very clean place and we found the people friendly. We were also a bit worried about things we had heared about being ripped off and being pestered to change money in the wrong places, luckily we didn't see any of that either.
The beach was lovely but I don't think the sea was suitable for swimming as the waves were very high, but then I am not a confident swimmer.
Entertainment....I think there is something for everyone, it is a busy place.
We loved Sunny Beach and we would definetly go back again.

We stayed in Sunny Beach and it was our first time in Bulgaria.
If we go back we will try Golden Sands. The beaches in Sunny Beach are excellent with life guards on duty all day.
Also plenty of places to eat on the beach.

The resort was wonderful,there were lots of bars with either karaoke or live entertainment on every night.the resort had no faults ,i'd definitely go back to Sunny Beach again.

Sunny Beach is a very busy resort and if you love to look in all the shops and enjoy different restaurants and bars you will not be disapointed.
There is lots to do for all ages all over the resort, shops tend to close around 11.30 and you can buy full football strips for the kids for £8, dont buy to much shorts , tshirts etc because it is so cheap you wouldnt get cheaper back home.
The hotel is on the beach front and got cleaned at the end of each day but we didnt spend alot of time there. ( you have to pay for beds, parasols etc at the front of the beach but you can lie down at the back for free - we didnt bother ).
I might visit resort again but will probably wait a few years - everywhere seems to cater more for other countries rather than British.

The resort was excellent. Not knowing what to expect on our first trip to Bulgaria, it was great so cheap, food excellent. You must try the jacket potatoes.
Loads of entertainment along the front if none in hotel, loads of sightseeing try the old town nesebar, you should travell by bus its only 60 stinkers about 25p you travel for miles and not crowded.

The beach was nice, but the sunbeds were very expensive (£8) per day. You are also hounded by locals trying to sell you fruit, donuts and Bra's, in fact £5 for a small carton of grapes is normal.
The resort is like Blackpool in the sun, it's expensive and the locals are greedy, rude and keen to rip off the tourists.
If you like Sun, Beach,and Bars it's ok for you, otherwise try the Med at least there the tourist industry is established and the people freindly.
In conclusion for the first time ever, we were overjoyed to return back to England.

Resort clean with plenty of things to do. Beach was clean enough too. Only problem we had was with the street beggars & the prostitutes.

Bit too big and growing almost visibly! Great for teenagers and kids though as they can stock up on GBA games and CDs. Then theres bungee jumping, banana rides, paragliding etc. The Bulgarian people are just so friendly. Loved the beach -clean and sandy and sea really warm and clear. When you rent a lounger you get a nice padded cover and every hundred yeards or so theres a lifeguard and the sea is shallow quite a long way out. Slight breeze so take plenty of sun lotion and keep re-applying. Spoilt for choice for restaurants but everything really is good value over there. A ride in one of the horse-drawn arriages perfect for the last night.

We loved sunny beach. We found everyone very friendly and helpful. The beach was clean and the sea was lovely and warm. There was lots to do for the children including electric scooters bungee jumps. We also hired a gold cart which was a great way to see the other end of the resort.
The sea was lovely and warm. There were fantastic views of the mountains whilst you were sat on the beach.
To eat out was very inexpensive and the food was very good, steaks, kebabs, pizza's, chicken etc.
We loved this holiday so much we have booked to go again in August 2006 with some of our friends, obviously to Rila Hotel again too!!!!
