All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.
We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .

No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

The beach is very clean and crowded. The restaurants all have music going on, but the songs were the same every night.
We felt quite safe walking round, and the train is very handy to get from a to b.
We enjoyed the food but found it a bit salty.
The shop, restaurant and bar staff are friendly.
The Public Toilets are clean, so they are worth paying for.
We would definately go back.

Can't fault the resort at all. Oh sorry just one complaint and that is the amount of golf carts and scooters that go up and down the promonade day and night. Maybe they should have a time restriction for the use on the promonade apart from that you get no trouble from the locals or the people who want you to use their eateries they ask you then leave you alone soon as you say no thanks.
The beach is fantastic very clean and very safe with ample sunbeds and brill watersports.
The aqua park and go-karting are well worth a visit even if like me you are a 30 something teenager.
Already looking for next year.
Don't forget to get yourself a cheap and excellent tattoo done for a third of the price back home.
Ah well back to work soon.xxx

It was too busy, crowded, noisy etc.
We personally didn't like the type of entertainment but there was enough choice if you like to do things like bungee jumping etc.
The were people exploiting animals like for their income. Once we have seen a man with a dancing bear! Disgusting!!!
The beach was clean but did not have much "free" space.

We spent a lot of time in the Cribbi bar as we have a few Bulgarian friends who work there.
After we would all head to the Orange night club and then the Condor after that. The Hollywood select bar is good as well with the Maxmuis male strippers a few nights a week. We also enjoyed Lazur night club altthough we didnt get as many nights there as we did the first time in Bulgaria.
The Happy Duck and Fat Cats is very good as well.... the beach is also very clean!!

Sunny Beach is a lively resort, on the go 24 hours a day.
The resort is ideal for people of all ages, the only observation I had was that facilities for wheelchair users were poor, uneven pavements and really high kerns.
The beach is lovely, loads of lifeguards, lovely fine sand and crystal clear warm water.
You do have to pay for the use of sunbeds and parasols on the beach, each item costs 6 Levs (2.70 Levs to £1.00) but for comfort it's well worth it.
All the family agreed we would definitely go back, the Bulgarians are a warm and friendly race, superb value for money resort, we only have positive things to say.

This resort is lovely and clean all the people are lovely and friendly although people in the town try to grab you and welcome you into their bar but otherwise everything was fine.

Sunny beach is commercialized so you'll find lots of shops.
If your changing money use the booths with the crown sign they are completely safe.
We did see the snakes and lizards but they never threw them on you.
Found it hard to have a good meal there everything is very spicey. Jacket potatoes were the best off the beach.
The beach is lovely and perfectly safe for kids, lifeguards every 30ft.
We could not find any entertainment for our 9 year old daughter, except scooters but we would not let her go on them(no helmets).
Nessebar is well worth exploring in the middle beautiful shops and churches.
Every where is open 24hrs.
Buy your fags on the plane either there or back £20 for 400.
Lots of gnats about don't forget your spray.
The airport is a nightmare when came back the fields apparantly had been cut and the floor was covered in them(Scary!!!).
No cash points in the airport you can only pay with lev in the duty free no credit card or cheque transacations taken beware if you want to buy anthing.

This was our first visit to Bulgaria and Sunny Beach was nothing like we expected. It is much to commercialised and nothing like we envisaged. Nessebar (Old Town) was very nice but the New Town was again to commercialised.

The resort was kept very clean and I was supprised to see how green it was in Bulgaria. There was plenty of places to eat and drink and you had the best of both worlds with it being quiet one end and lively the other.
The beach was very clean and very big. There were sun beds all over the beach which cost about £3.00 each.
I couldn't believe how cheap everything was. A pint of larger was about 70p and 2 people could eat out for about £7 - £10 pounds.
I really enjoyed my holiday and am planning to go next year.

Great resort loved every minute plenty of bars & resturants plenty of shops if you like shopping. Beach was immaculate. Definately visit resort again.
