All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .
Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.

Keep away please.
No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

The resort was very clean and there are an un believeable amount of shops, go with an empty suitcase it'll cost you next to nothing to kit up on some good quality clothes.
Loads of Karaokke bars but not too much for Young kids.
Beautifull beach and very safe.
There are a few men on the front of the prom area with Snakes around their neck but steer clear if your affraid of them and they will leave you alone.
Be carefull when changing money we were told only to change in the Hotel or in a Crown exchange unit.
60p a Pint and 30p a local short.

I loved the resort it was clean.
Entertaining things for all the family. A nice walk to town centre it was wonderful.

It was my first time abroad so it looked a bit daunting for me travelling from the airport to the Hotel as on the way there we saw one car bomb so I did think at the start what are we letting ourselves in for.
So for the first few days my partner was on edge as for seeing a car bomb and being told there was muggings right next to our hotel she wanted to go home,( by the way it was our honeymoon)
After we got over what we saw and were told, we enjoyed every minute of it. The Happy Duck on the front and Barbecue Credo serves some very nice food, even though the Happy Duck was full of Germans it was still a friendly atmosphere. Thr buy one and get one free cocktails went down a treat and there beer as a wonderful taste, especially the Kamenitza. You cant go wrong paying 2 lev for a large beer which is 0.5ltr Nessebar is a wonderful place, 10 lev on the boat over there which lasts for 20 minutes.
The boat over there was only small so we were being thrown about like ragdolls, which made my partner a little sea sick, other than that it was great.
Some excellent places to eat but do watch it as some are quite expensive we were told. We also had a night out at Khans Tent, which we both thought was excellent.

I thourght the resort was lovely very big there is about 5 different strips you could go down. The night life was good for kids and adults. I thourght the local were quite rude for example if you bourght your drink at the bar most of the time you had to stay at the bar because the tables had reserved on them, i think you payed more for you drinks if you did sit down but thats no a problem, but i dont think they should deprive you of a seat because you have got your own seat. The beach was lovely and so were all the resturants in the resort.

Sunny Beach could not be faulted for it cleanliness but unfortunately the same cannot be said fot the entertainment. We travelled with our kids aged 6 and 8 and there wasn't much for them to do either during the day or in the evening. The beach is also spotless and has a good variety of watersports.
I would go back to Sunny Beach when our kids are a little older but I would definitely recommend it for couples or groups of friends as there are plenty of good bars and restaurants we plenty of lively entertainment going on into the early hours!

Resort resembled a cleaner version of Blackpool.A small village called Nessebar is absolutely lovely all small cobbled streets and vendors selling fresh orange juice was really nice.Enteratainment in the resort seems to be in every restaurant which at times can be quite annoying as sometimes you just want a quiet meal not someone singing in your ear.All they seem to sell in Sunny Beach is fake goods which just annoyed me really as it was just in your face the whole time.One trip worth going on is up to the Blue Mountains and travelling on the cable car the absolute peace and serenity up that mountain is second to none.I would visit Bulgaria again but not Sunny Beach it`s too built up now and has been spoilt.

Sunny Beach is the best holiday resort we have been to.
When asked why do we keep going back, the reasons are: great beach, clean and well kept, excellent weather, great hotels, friendly locals,excellent service, amazingly cheap for everything, (food, drink, shoes, clothes etc) great excursions, overall excellent value for money.
It's great to see more bars and restaurants offering good quality food and cheap alcohol. Recommended restaurant for a night out in a Bulgarian village is 'The Miami' in Vlas, 5 minutes taxi ride from sunny beach.
We are already planning to go back to Sunny Beach for our ninth year.

Resort was clean, unfortunately when we were there the weather wasn't good which affected the resort. Im still looking for the entertainment to suit me and my 12 year old son.
I loved the beach, but very little room to sunbathe if you didn't want sunbed or brolly.first time ive been to bulgaria, I would have to be desperate if I had to return.

Apart from the PR people telling you their restaurant is the best in sunny Beach, it was great. Cheap, cheerful and full of fun. Food in bulgaria not particularly that nice but we did find several nice restaurants that were worth going back to. Great people and were very welcoming to us "tourists"
