All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.
We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .

No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

My only concern with Sunny Beach is that when it rained it poured and the drainage was not adequate to cope with this so you were left with huge pools of water along the roads. The beach is huge and very clean with the water being shallow for about 100 metres. There are plenty of bars and loads of different kinds of entertainment from karaoke to specialist shows.There is a lot of history of the country to be seen without having to travel too far either.If shopping is your thing (one for the ladies) then you will be in paradise and it is all cheap as chips too, especially the alcohol.In fact, the whole place is a holidaying paradise with things to suit everybody's needs. You will not be dissapointed.

Didn't need to eat out much so foodwise couldn't really comment however everything else seems to be just as we remembered. Loads of new build gone however very little work ongoing at uncompleted hotels.
I would say prices risen by 5-10% towards the beach but further away from the beach cheap as french fries. Popular clothing / bags etc. this year seem to be Von Dutch and Diesel. 10 lev to nessebur on the boat 60 stots on the bus. about 15 lev in taxi.
Use local transport where you can, its quite easy and very cheap. Best exchange rate we got was 2.84 at Cooperative Bank on the Kuban strip - dont use unregistered exchange booths - saw a very large german lady try to dismantle one with its inhabitant after presumably being ripped off.
Didn't see the dancing bear this time thank god but other asssorted retiles on offer for photos. Aqua park 26 lev for the day for an adult cant take your own drinks food etc inside though not that expensive inside either. Great day out for a family.

The supermarket Lotus just down the road from the Hotel was the cheapest we found in that area, and certainly cheaper than the centre of Sunny Beach. The Red Flag Beach Bar was good, the Restaurant Regata was excellent, food brilliant and reasonably priced, draught beer 1 lev (about 35p) and a highly comical chef, who spoke about 6 different languages.
Beach was very clean and tidy, lovely little fruit stall just before you got onto the beach, selling high quality fruit very cheap. Chicken Kebab (yes, that is the right spelling) is a must, as are the baked potatoes. Good value for money. Lots of shops selling leather handbags (about 25 to 30 leva) and leather mules/sandals, approx 30 leva.
We are definitely thinking about going back to Sunny Beach next year and hope anyone visiting will enjoy themselves, as we did.

The resort has something for everyone. Plenty of shops,markets,bars and restaurants.It is very cheap!!!

Sunny Beach is very clean and the locals are friendly. Lots of trips to go on, we tried Istanbul and Asia which was good.
Lots of bars and resturants to choose from and about 5 nightclubs. Beach was very clean and tidy, again you paid for loungers for 6lvs each, which only worked out to about £3.40 for two, so not bad compared to other places.
If you are tinking of going here, you had better be quick as it changes to the euro in 2007!

Sunny beach is a purpose built resort so dont go there if you want to be in the middle of Bulgarian culture-but trips out to typical Bulgarian towns are easy to get on and buses are regular.
There are lots of restaurants,we didn't really go in a bad one, they are all dirt cheap, we got a chinese and a drink for £5 each with protions so big we didn't even eat half!I recommend Marmacitas the mexican and Arizona Steakhouse.
There are also lots of bars which all do happy hour where cocktails are buy-1-get-1-free (working out at £1 each)and so are bulgarian spirits,so its very cheap. Some bars are livelier than others, Amigos was very entertaining with bottle juggling and fire tricks-they all stay open til quite late. There are a few clubs to suit party animals but not that many.
The beach is of a good standard, nice white sand and they do a few watersports aswell.

resort kept tidy always people cleaning up.we found it had become more commercialised than it was last year but prices still very cheap plenty of good bars and restaurants about.visited the waterpark this which is well worth a visit great value for money although you cannot take your own food and drink in only water but surprisingly the food was not to expensive.beaches were kept clean and there were plenty of sunbeds availble.would highly recommend resort it is our second visit and next year may be third

Fantastic resort...really clean. Plenty of entertainment in the resort itself...some really great cocktail bars! Beach was fantastically clean and locals really friendly...massage man outside the Fiesta Beach hotel is worth a try...great massages and a really friendly guy - also the drinks man....he will get your drinks/food and you can just give a small tip of about 50 stinkies.
Not enough public toilets...lot of the toilet facilities are behind bars and you are expected to pay....I would recommend that you take out plenty of change in the evenings as most charge about 50 stinkies which is not very much but definitely handy to have plenty of change on you.
I am hoping to go back to this resort again next year as nothing negative to say about any of it, .had a fantastic holiday!

The resort was very clean. The beach was very clean.
The entertainment wasn't too bad. I would definitely go back to Sunny Beach Bulgaria.
