We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.
We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .

The hotel is situated around 15 minutes from the main stretch of Sunny Beach which was ideal for us with 2 children so you weren't listening to loud music into the night. However you can get the land train down to the centre that runs every 20 minutes and cost 1.50 Lev. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants around the hotel though so you wouldn't be stuck for somewhere to go. Try the Old House restaurant just to the Left of the hotel - food is gorgeous, really cheap and the staff are fab - They are so good with the children!
From the beach front outside the hotel you can also take a boat trip which takes you to Nessebaur "the old town". This takes 20 minutes and cost 10 Lev each but is worth a few hours of your time. It's a nice little town with winding streets and lots of restaurants, bars and shops - worth going for a change of surroundings...
Just one word of advice - When the Bulgarians mean "Yes" they shake their head and when they mean "No" they nod their heads - can get a bit confusing!!
There are constantly people out sweeping the streets and ensuring that the place is shining.
The only thing which can cause a problem is that public toilets can be few and far between and not all restaurants and bars have their own toilets.. In nearly all of the toilets there is a charge to use them as they have a 24 hour attendant. The charge is anything between 0.50Lev and 1 Lev. The good side of this is that all toilets are of a really high standard - I think they were a lot better than the public toilets you get in the UK!
The Beach is also Immaculate and there are plenty of sun loungers which you can hire for a small charge but there is also a free part of the beach towards the back.
All I can say about Sunny Beach is it has every thing you need for a fab holiday. The Bulgarian people are so friendly and have a genuine interest in you having a good time and they really want you to enjoy their country and culture. We will definatley be going again and I just hope that as the years go by Bulgaria doesn't get ruined and become the new Benidorm because it would be a real shame

Sunny Beach in one word Bliss.
Loads going on, people ever so friendly, and want to go back again and again.
After visiting Sunny Beach, I literally didn't want to come home, I thoroughly enjoyed it and hope to go back soon.

The beaches in this report were very clean and the food in the local town was very cheap.
The local people were very friendly and always willing to tell you about little places to visit.

The resort could be better if they got rid of the beggers and prostitutes trying to get trade at night. One night when returning from Djannys resturant[which is exellent]i was walking about 100yds in front of the wife,as she stopped to look at somthing in a shop window. One come straight up to me, I said you had better ask the wife behind me,she soon went away quickly.
All so it would better getting rid of the quad bikes tearing up and down the beach when people are are trying to get a bit of peace.

We went to Bulgaria on the 4 Oct and the resort starts closing down that week and all the staff go on to the ski resort, the beach bar was never open.
Bulgaria is so cheap it's unreal and any one who loves shopping all day can't go wrong but for me the entertainment was poor I don't know if it was because it was the last week or not but the children had nothing to do at night.
You can buy very cheap copy watches over there what are really nice but be careful as we packed ours in our cases and on our return to Manchester found our cases had had the locks cut through and the watches was taken from a few people's cases in our group so keep them in your hand luggage to be on the safe side

The resort is a vast coastal strip, generally pleasing but a bit run down in some areas. Generally clean and tidy, obviously some litter 'cos it's full of Brits.
Entertainment is usually found in bars & restaurants and is generally not bad.
Loads of shops and stalls selling good quality fakes - but be warned , that bottle of Bells Whiskey (complete with customs duty/tax sticker) might not actually be Bells (or even Whisky).
The food vendors are plentiful, cheap, and really good quality.
The beach is excellent. Fine sand and well looked after with lifeguards in attendance.
