All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.
We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .

Keep away please.
No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

Resort itself was clean enough everyone keeping there own wee bit in front of their shop swept.
entertainment was not good anything that you wanted to see you could'nt just go in and have a drink you had to have a meal, not that there was much entertainment anyway.
Beach could have been cleaner a lot of cigarette ends in the sand. massages on beach were very good only 30lev for a back and leg massage which lasted about 45 mins and was sheer heaven.
One thing i did'nt like was the man on the front at nights with the snake's round his neck and a big lizard on his knee offering photos with your camera for only 5 lev (prefer snakes to be behind glass secured). also a lot of beggers in the streets police do move them on, the one we saw being moved on got into a golf tdi that was parked up a side street and drove away!!!!

Resort is great and we really enjoyed visits to Nesebar.
Good prom for walking at night.
Victoria Palace in good position as it's just a bit away from the biz.
Beach is spotless although there is a continial drone from people selling ice cream etc.
No entertainment at our hotel at all although there were small bands playing at a number of restaurants, but all seemed to be the same type.

the resort is very clean nice friendly people especially in the restaurants. there is not much to do on a night time most of the entertainment appears to be only for the older generation. very nice beach.

Great resort. Plenty to do even for us more 'mature' people.
Many good eateries with hot plentyful food which was very cheap. MacDonalds (5 in the resort) is the most expensive place to eat.
A little noisy on the main drag alongside the Kuban Hotel.
The electric cars and scooters can be a nuisence, saw a kid knocked down by one on the front promenade.
Its a shoppers paradise and very cheap.
I will definately go again next year before its found by the lager louts and before it joins the EU and the prices start to rise.

I visited this resort right at the end of the season and my report will therefore differ to others.
The beaches were deserted most days and only a handful of sun loungers remained. Most of the shops & restaurants were starting to wind down for the end of the season therefore there wasnt that much choice, but it was still adequate for us.

Sunny beach is definitely a family resort. There is so much going on for the kids - mini fairs, bowling, water parks etc. There are several "Noddy" trains that go along the resort and cost approx 60p a person - if you are feeling lazy. The beach is lovely white sand, and very clean. The only problem being Jellyfish. These are everywhere and put us off going to the beach too often. The sea is warmer than the hotel pools and gently shelves down. Little fish swim between your toes, and there little hermit crabs in the shallow water. My 7 year old son had a great time trying to catch them.
We travelled on the 27th Sept and the first week was great as everywhere was open, but by the end of our secong week, places were closing up for the season.
The weather was mixed. We had 4 overcast/rainy days, and 10 nice days - just warm enough to get a bit of a sun tan.
Food around resort was very cheap as were drinks.
It cost to use toilets (50 stotinki) but if you wander into a hotel as though you are stying there, you can use their toilets free.
The resort was full of germans when we went, and it is clear that the Bulgarians prefer the English. Shopkeepers made a fuss of my two children and some of them even gave them little toys for free whilst we were looking around.
We would recommend taking your gameboy out there. Games are so cheap (approx £10 for the newest ones) but try them before you buy. We didnt have a problem with many of them but who knows. Some are better than others.

We have now been to Sunny Beach five times in the last 15 years and have found it has improved.
It is a very clean resort apart from the beggars who pester you.
There is lots of entertainment in the resort and a lot of it free when in dine in restaurants and bars, most of the groups sing in english.
Nice clean beach.
Yes we would visit this resort again.

The beach was lovely but expensive for sunbeds. The resort itself was brilliant but you had to visit another hotel for entertainment and food.

We agreed that had we stayed in one of the other beautiful hotels in this resort we would have had a lovely holiday.
The resort itself was very nice, food and restaurants were excellent and so so cheap. We enjoyed eating at a different restaurant every night, not one complaint on the food or service, everyone spoke English so well, it made life very easy!!
Not sure what the restaurant was called but would highly recommend the Chinese place in what we called the back street, huge portions of delicious food, one meal would have fed us all!! There was a small outdoor bistro as well where we got a delicious lunch for pennies, definately worth the tip!!
There was things for children to do although not as much as we would have liked but plenty all the same.
I would recommend this resort for adults and maybe older children, but not so much young children and definitely not babies as there are no baby facilities what so ever, maybe we should have done our homework first!!!
