I have been 3 times to Ayia Napa now and love it. I used to go clubbing but now I enjoy a good meal and a quiet few drinks..... and the resort is good for both. I love the Cypriot people and have always found them so nice and friendly.

This resort was fantastic.
I went with the mindest that it was full of 18/30's and that was blown out of the water straight away. Ages ranges from very young to very old! We are in our early 30's so we wanted a bit of night life.
Most of the bars and clubs are in the square so if uyou dont like it too lively just stay away.
There are plenty of fantastic places to eat for whatever pallet..sapporros japaese is very entertaining and great food too(at the top of the square)
The water park is a fab day out...catch the bus from aiya napa its cheaper.
I would love to go back and maybe even take my children :O)

Ayia Napa itself is great, and the location of the hotel was good too, but I wouldnt visit the Margardina again, but ayia napa is a must, the nightlife is there if you want it or if you just want a quiet time you can have that too,
The resort is becoming more expensive although if you look hard you can find cheap places to drink

I understand that Aiya Napa can get very lively in the late evening, but we left quite early (around 10 to 11pm)each night because of the children. They absolutely loved the town sqare with all the music and lights, and the staff in the bars we stopped at were really welcoming to both us and the children. Their favourite place was definitely Bedrock, where there were a couple of hosts with an entertaining patter that included the audience, and some very good karaoke singers.
The children loved eating at a place called Camelot, as they had a play area to keep them amused. However, on the last night we were in the town square the 2 year old with us touched a light (we think halogen) that was just outside the entrance, and spent the rest of the evening with his fingers in a bowl of ice, and had blisters on most of the fingers of one hand today. If we had gone back to the square again we would have alerted them to this problem, as we would not like another child to have such a painful experience, but it happened on our last night. I am sure it would be possible to put a mesh or something on the light to prevent this.
The beach near our hotel was blue flag, the water and sand really clean, and there was a restaurant just at the top of the path from the beach to have a welcome cold drink and ice cream.
We only spent a few days there, but are definitely going to try and return for a longer holiday in the future.

The resort has a variety of Restaurants, bars and clubs to suit all ages. As in most place you find prices are cheaper out of the town centre.
Nisi beach is very busy, but Adams and Landa beaches are quieter. There are plenty of water sports available on the beaches and swimming is safe as the sea is shallow until you are quite far out.

Ayia Napa is a fantastic place. Plenty of great restaurants and bars, clubs etc. Great beaches. Best restaurants are, los bandisos(mexican) limelight(steaks) and the japenese opposite los bandidos.

Ayia Nappa is a very lively resort, you can't go wrong for entertainment and children are very welcome in all the bars. The beach was a long way but taxis are cheap enough. We stayed self catering but eating breakfast out was so cheap we never cooked once. The night life is incredible, although you couldn't walk near the square without being asked to go in one of the restaurants,we tried most of them and found them very good.
There seemed to be a lot of building work going on but I would still recommend this resort.

The resorts of Nissi Bay and Aiya Napa were extremely clean, we went during the Easter holidays and it's useful to bare in mind that Easter is celebrated in Cyprus like Christmas is in the UK. Which is quite good for watching their local events but not good for shopping as everything was shut.
The beaches were lovely and clean, they shelved gently which made it great for the kids.

Well nice and clean, lovely little harbour, great for coffee or small beers.
