Ayia Napa is a lovely lively place to be. You can either go up into the Sqaure where all the clubs are, or just wander around town, near the harbour where there are plenty of pubs and restaurants. Very high quality places to visit. Cavo Restaurant is our favourite as we know the family who own it. The Wayang Chinese Restaurant in the Square is highly recommend too.

The most fantastic beach ever - Nissi Beach - so clean! Clear turquoise sea and golden sand - very hot so take flip flops! Many places to eat along beach, lots of beds for about £1.25 CY per bed/umbrella - really hot but breezy on beach although you probably will benifit from an umbrella as you don't realise how hot it is with breeze! Lots of watersports to do i.e. jet ski and parachute - avoid if sea rough as my friends were sea sick!!!

Spent most of the time in the hotel, but a night walk after too much dinner was always welcome.
We did a day trip to Cario.........left at 4.AM on morning to returm 3.00AM the next.........long day but worth it.

You must visit nissi beach as it is beautiful although catch bus from town as it can be a long walk. the boat trips are good value too so you should go on a couple of them, also visit the jasmin inn its a great place to go at night.

We stayed at the Sungarden hotel which was on the very edge of Ayia Napa, the whole resort seemed to be of a high standard of cleanliness although I would not like to say what it is like at 3am! During the day it was fine.
We did not go for the bars and clubs but we did go in to have a look and if its night life you want you won't be disappointed. Loads of pubs, bars, places to eat and of course clubs. There is also lots of shops with plenty of choice, it was nice to be able to look around without people trying to get you to buy, it was also nice to get in the shops because they were all air conditioned! There was also plenty of watersports to suit all tastes.
The beach in front of our hotel was very clean, lovely golden sand and clear water. The beach nearer to Ayia Napa was not so clean, lots of dog ends but there was a greater volume of people so probably more difficult to keep clean during the day.
We would definately visit again.
