In my opinion Ayia Napa has something for everyone. If you want it quiet that's fair enough. The beaches in Ayia Napa are good, especially Nissi Beach. What are you waiting for? Get your ticket booked & come to Cyprus!

The resort itself was very busy with lots of pubs and clubs to keep you entertained. The beach was also very good but we found was quite rocky in parts and not the best for young children.

The local bar inside the resort was brilliant. All staff really friendly and couldn't make you feel more welcome. Food was quite cheap aswell about £4cyp for main meal and drinks good price too depending on what you want. Sex on the beach only £1.80cyp.
Night time entertainment was great..not really my scene as we wanted to experience main aiya napa, however i did for some mad reason agree to be hypnotised!!
Great laugh at my expense ashamed I cannot remember any of it. Getting taxi's were easy and only £5cyp, we went down to main strip most nights, very lively and can find yourself getting home at 5 in the morning.
Recommend taking day trip to water park aswell, although queues can be a bit of a nightmare. Overall i'd say come to this resort as I will definately be returning. couldn't ask for much more.

We stayed in Ayia Napa and found it a very enjoyable place to be. There are 2 main beaches. A taxi ride cost 4 cypriot pounds to nissi beach which is lovely.
Its ok for familys despite what you here about it, as only the square is noisey although worth a visit to experience it.

Fourth time in Ayia Napa for us forty-somethings. Love the place. Haven't been since 2003 but were celebrating our Silver Wedding and decided to book a last minute week away as a treat - decided to pick the place where we've had the most fun in the past (despite my wife insisting this might mean seperate holidays!!) and it just had to be Napa. We are not party animals - never been in a club - but do like a bit of lively nightlife, but the best thing about Ayia Napa for us is the abundance of beaches within easy reach, each a seperate entity with it's own atmosphere. Depending where you are staying in Napa many are within walking distance but if not then a cheap taxi ride (or bus) will soon get you there. We always try to stay in the Thalassaki Village area on Nissi Avenue where Liminaki Beach and Sandy Bay Beach are both within 10 - 15 minutes walking (one in each direction) and Nissi Beach a further 5-10 minutes past Sandy Bay. Landa and Macronnissos Beaches are further in this direction (C£4 in a taxi, but well served by the local bus service if your on a budget). I know Nissi Beach is always the one that gets talked about, but we much prefer Landa Beach for reasons that we can't possibly explain.
As this was June and earlier in the year than we normally travel found that the resort was quite quiet and as such we were pestered rather more than in the past by PR people whilst walking down 'Night Life Street' but it's only an inconvenience and we've never been approached with anything other than good nature. The walk to the centre down Nissi avenue is undisturbed by PR people despite the number of bars/eateries along it.
Nothing much had changed in the last 3 years, a number of new bars had opened, a couple had closed, some had changed name and/or ownership for instance at the junction at the bottom of 'Night Life Street' where Haikkido Restaurant is on one corner, the other corner that was in 2002 an Italian Restaurant called Napa Rivulet and abandoned in 2003 is now My Thai Restaurant and highly recommended (my First Thai restaurant ever !!) and opposite the Paloma Bar is now The Bhouy's Bar (for all you Celtic fans), further up the road the Bucks Fizz Bar is now The Sea Caverns (complete with boats) and Gasoline Bar is now Sky bar etc. etc.
Most other places are still the same, Charlie's still there at the Golden Arrow and closer to home (well the Thalassaki!) Gary's Bar & Grill is still winning 'Best Breakfast in Ayia Napa' - we walked into Gary's for a quick meal upon arrival and were greeted with 'Crikey, you haven't been here for a few years!'. What more can you say!
