Ayia Napa is the perfect place to go if you love a massive choice of good bars and restaurants. The resort itself was fairly quiet in October but with a child,we ate out every night and by the time we were leaving the centre at midnight, it was beginning to liven up. We had only good experiences with all the locals, and weren't bothered by pub/bar 'greeters'. There is a really good waterpark we visited in Ayia Napa which I would recommend and other things were available...boat trips, scuba diving, quad bikes etc etc.

stayed in ayia napa, could do with a bit of a clean up in places, plenty of nice places to eat especially down at the harbour.Quiet in october although still enough open to keep an active family occupied, bus service good and cheap, nissi beach fantastic if only they would clear up the fag ends and beer bottle tops...not good to step on in bare feet as i found out,Sandy beach bit quieter but still a fantastic suntrap, clean sand and shallow enough for the kids with cheaper booze and food than nissi

As we are in our early 20's we went Ayia Napa for the nightlife, so we spent every night in the square. Although we went at the end of the season it was still extremely busy. The drinks offers were great, every bar gave you a free drink and shot. All the PRs over there were English!
There is a curry house called Taste of India and we visited it twice in one week, it was the nicest curry i have ever had - highly recomended.
Its a 10-15 min walk into the centre from our hotel. A taxi from out hotel to anywhere in ayia napa cost £4 - including Nissi Beach which is absolutly gorgeous.
Now counting the days till I return...

I hadn't visited this side of Cyprus before and was a bit apprehensive about what Ayia Napa would hold in store. I really enjoyed our stay there.
I suppose as we visited at the end of the season it was no where near as bonkers as it is in the height of the season.
We really enjoyed going to a few of the bars in the square but never made it on to any of the clubs as we had to get our little one to bed! The beach that we visited was lovely.
Beautiful sand and very clean. Our favourie restaurant was Clarabel ( Flambe restaurant)they looked after our little girl extremely well.
I would definitley return to this resort.

Ayia Napa itself is mad in the centre, but out and about you can find many excellent restaurants - the Captain's Table, Mexican in the Square and too many Italian's to mention. The pubs outside the centre are mostly Karaoke Bars and sell cheaper drinks than those in the centre, but they aren't very busy usually. The pubs in the Square are excellent Bedrock, the Jasmine Inn, Paddy's Bar, Craig's Bar and Trotter's Pub are all worth a visit. As for the nightclubs Car Wash and the Castle are excellent.
The beaches are amazing too, Grecian Sands with it's white sands and blue sea - it's so warm it's almost like a bath!! Nissi Beach is alot more lively with DJ's watersports and the bungee jump. The sea is amazing here and as with Grecian plenty of loungers for only CYP£1.25 (GBP£1.50) for the day. The only thing that would make it even nicer was if they cleaned all the rubbish (mainly cigarette doubts) at the end of every day.

Cant really comment on the resort as we had a very lazy holiday mostly by the pool, only ventured in a couple of times by taxi, did try a cool little bar called kosmipol great staff and no cheap imitation alcohol mixers only the real deal spirits and bottled bears.

Aiya napa was one of the best holidays that i have had. There is so much to do and see if you want but little to do also if all you want is to relax on the beach. Nissi beach is thenicest although sandy bay is nice too. Lots of watersports. Night entertainment is amazing. The main square feels like you are on the set of a Disney Film. Most pubs & clubs are themed. Lots of lovely restaurants with a wide variety of food to choose from, including chinese, japanese, mexican, polynesian, english, italian and of course cypriot.
Aiya napa was a really clean resort and people so friendly.
Fun fair good and on Nissi Avenue there is a childrens play centre with trampolines, ball pits bouncy castles etc. So good resort for the kids as well.
Ideal for all kinds of people whether young or old.
I would def visit this resort again..
