Get a ground room floor as it will help as there are no lifts to the other floors so it can be a bit of a walk with a pram.
Make sure on the strip you visit the Meze restaurant with the funny symbols in the name. It is one of the best Meze places in Protaras. Also Molti was a great restaurant to stay in.

The beach at fig tree bay was a major let down,everything else was ok.

Konnos bay is a small secluded bay between Protaras and Ayia Napa.
Set on the edge of a nature reserve the beach is very secluded and fairly quite.
This must be one of the pretiest bays in Cyprus.

the resort was great lots to do beach lovely if a bit rocky went in sea absoulutly stunning could see all fish water lovly and clear ,we ate out alot we went to sizzlers steak house quite a few times food and staff were great also found nice english pub called the barley mow great place to chill out and staff were really friendly all in all a good resort would definatly go back again but not to the isaac apartments

Entertainment??? Well, having heard about the Elvis impersonators we hit the strip on our first night (Wednesday) "in search of Elvis". It took us until the Sunday night to find clone number 1, but once found several other clones seemed to pop up everywhere, doubling up as Tom Jones. Cher, Kylie and Abba - appeared to be ex tour reps who thought they could earn some money to stay on the Island with their new Cypriot boyfriend.......
The Frank Sinatra guy at the Rooftop was very good and one of the few entertainers who took his profession seriously.
If you like Neil Diamond, he's everywhere - good and bad.
All the restaurants we visited were good, do try the Cypriot wine, we found Aphrodite, a dry white, to be very drinkable.
We hired a car to visit Paphos and the Troodos Mountains - do get a car with air con - 1st two weeks in September and even the evenings are still clocking up 30 c.
Would we go back - yes

This was my first visit to protaras and cannot wait to return again as soon as possible. Clean, friendly, helpful and beautiful.

protoras is a beutiful resort with good quality restaurants and bars along its entire length.
the beach ata fig tree bay which is just below the capo bay hotel is safe and rock free , my only critism is the fact it is not cleaned at night which i beleieve will happen in the near future.
i would recommend a swim out to the small island to feed the fish.

The Resort of Protaras is really nice and Fig Tree Bay is a lovely beach with very calm seas and loads of watersports to try out. Recommend a Double Parasail - brilliant. Also went to Waterworld outside Ayia Napa really good fun and some really heart in your mouth Water Slides.
This is my 2nd time to Cyprus and I again found it quite expensive so make sure you take loads of money with you ! Our Apartment overlooked Rockafellas Pub and entertainment was pretty loud and did go on into the wee small hours - so much so that we did not get a decent night's sleep all holiday. Stay clear of that side of the apartment block if possible. Jimmy Spender appears to be the main entertainment at Rockafellas and he's pretty awful - take ur earplugs as you'll need them.

The entertainment this year was not good, but then in all fairness they had a lot to live up to from the 'crew' last year (David, Sara and Merika). Think the entertainment company that they employ needs to be changed or 'chased up' to improve.
The beach is wonderful for those that enjoy snorkling and just having a dip in the sea. I only swam in it once but it was fantastic.
