Take a torch for night-time. Returning to the hotel at night is dangerous.

Get a ground room floor as it will help as there are no lifts to the other floors so it can be a bit of a walk with a pram.
Make sure on the strip you visit the Meze restaurant with the funny symbols in the name. It is one of the best Meze places in Protaras. Also Molti was a great restaurant to stay in.

Beaches

The resort was quite clean. There was a lot to do on a night. Make sure you eat at a busy restaurant. The beaches were excellent, especially Fig Tree Bay. It was really clean and had many water sports. The people are very friendly. I would come back to the east of Cyprus.

all in all very clean - when you go off the beaten track there was a slight reduction in cleanliness - but not hotels fault. entertainment was really good and varied. beach was okay - we really had no need to leave hotel - but visited a few. lovely feeding the fish in shallows. would definately stay here again.

Plenty of chances to see 'Elvis, Tina Turner and Freddy Mercury if you wanted to. Lots of shops to wonder in and out of. All the same thing but thats is like any holiday resort. We didnt eat out although there was plenty of choice if you wanted to.

What we saw of the resort we thought it was good, there seemed to be a lot of different bars and restaurants offering entertainment to suit different tastes. we didnt go into the resort at night, because we were all inclusive, but for those that wanted to,there was a good bus service.

We did find the hotel clean but the tea and coffee facilities was not replenished we had to help ourselves from the hotel bar.
The entertainment on site was only made by one person who did a fantastic job he deserved a merit from us all due to the sercumstances.
We all have said we would not return to this accommodation. Having spent alot of money for our stay £21.000 pounds it was disscusting it should have been a happy event for the bride and groom family and friends.

Yes if I was in Cyprus I would visit this resort again for a nosey - but there was only so many times you could walk up and down the strip on a 2 week holiday without getting bored, which we became.
I actually found it quite hard to spend money on stuff that I wanted to take home - perfume was very expensive, did buy some jewellery though! And the clothes shops were disappointing.
There were a few bars and our favourite was Rockafellas where 'Jimmy Spender' was absolutely fantastic and sang a large array of songs from Old to recent. The local drinks were actually very nice and there was no need to spend extra on imported drinks.
The resort of Protaras was lovely and very clean and the beaches were gorgeous but just not my cup of tea!!
