What a fantastic place. The coral at the hotel was amazing, well worth buying a snorkle just to go and explore it.

Food was fine, plenty of choice. Never seen so many desserts in one area!

Avoid the main pool as this gets very busy, go to one of the smaller pools. Here the staff are fantastic and you are sure to get a brolly to hide under.

Did the Cairo trip whilst visiting. Definitely worth doing, but be careful around the bazaar as it is somewhat intimidating.

All in all it was a fabulous holiday, and would recommend the hotel. Hoping to return in a couple of years time.

Brilliant hotel - would definitely go back!!!

We stayed in the sports area and had no complaints at all. About a 5 min walk to the main complex (or you can get the hotel shuttle bus!).

Couldn't fault the rooms, they were so nice. A lot bigger than I expected and the bathrooms were nice too.

We tended to go by the main pool by the beach, as thats were all the entertainment was, plus the pool bar. You do need to be there before 9am to get a decent sunbed though!Beach was nice, but its not really sand, more like grit. The beach is on about 3/4 levels and gradually descends down to the sea. Buy a snorkel from the shop - its amazing!

I would probably say the hotel consists of 80% English, the rest consisting of Russians (enough said!).

I particularly enjoyed the Italian restaurant, the lasagne was beaut!!!

The hotel is situated about 8 mile from Naama bay. We didn't actually go until about our 5th day an wished we'd ov discovered it abit sooner. The food is really cheap. We meet another couple in our hotel and we ate at the Hardrock cafe in Nama bay. We had starters, mains and dessert + drinks for less than

I returned yesterday from this hotel and will add a short report as there are lots of reviews on it.

I have stayed at the Hilton Shark next door on 2 occasions and so know the area well. The sport side of this hotel really isn't worth a mention as it is poor so I wont bother with it. (Upgrade if you have booked it.) The main part of the hotel is well set out with lovely grounds and good first impressions.

The rooms are nice and cleaned daily.

The staff are excellent(especially Gomma) apart from the bar staff in the Piano Bar who are ignorant and have never heard of the words thank you or your welcome?

The food in the Italian restaurant is very good and it is lovely and cool in there and part of all inc at lunch times. Burgers by the infinity pool are also very good. The food in the main restaurant is dire and it is very difficult to find something that you will like. Most people complained about this. Drinks were ok if you like warm beer, warm water and vinegar wine. Virtually everyone in the hotel that we spoke to got stomach cramps, trots and vomiting including all our group. It lasts for about 2 days. The chemist across the road is very good.

The animation team were the best I have ever come across and worked tirelessly to get everyone involved. Gym and sauna area are also very good. As I have said I have stayed at the Hilton (next door) which is first class and a better quality hotel than the Concorde. At the Hilton your mini bar is filled daily, there are coffee making facilities in every room, water is included as is the Italian restaurant. Non of these is included in the Concorde which is surprising to say it is a 4 star hotel.

I personally would give it 3 stars. Many people complained about lots of things that are wrong with this hotel however if you haven't travelled much before then you will probably find this to be a nice hotel. If you are a seasoned traveller then I think you will be quite disappointed.

Would I go again...NO. I have tried to be as honest as possible but just to give you an unbiased opinion we spoke to a few people who liked it here so I suppose we are all different. Be aware that there is building work going on 100 yards away which ruined our peace and quiet and isn't due to be competed until October 2006. If you have already booked then enjoy, if not then try the Hilton next door

Hotel the staff treated you like Queens and they always had a table for you ready for you in the evenings.

The pool bar waiters were brilliant even thought sometimes you had to wait a while to be serve apart from that I would give the hotel all in all 10 out of 10

I have just come back from this holiday in Egypt with my mum and dad. I thought it was a very nice hotel with good facilities, friendly staff and good entertainment.

The only things I did not like were the food in the main restaurant, the noise from the building work next door and the indoor pool being closed for a week.

The main swimming pool was very dirty and made a lot of people ill including myself. I was ill for 3 days and had to get some medicine from the chemist. I am 11 years old and had to eat pizza every night because the food was so boring, cold and not very pleasant to eat.

The food in the Italian restaurant was very good but not part of the all inclusive at night. We went to the hard rock cafe just so we could eat some good quality food. We really enjoyed ourselves.

The staffs were brilliant in the hard rock cafe and made everybody welcome. I would like to go back to Egypt again but I would not like to go to this hotel. The Egyptian people were very nice.

We had a lovely week. The staff in the main restaurant were superb. Ashraff Mohammed & Boules (Paul) were fantastic. We had a table reserved every night and the service of drinks was like no other!

We did struggle to get sunbeds unless you were up at the crack of dawn which not many of us want to do on holiday.

The indoor pool we found lovely except the Jacuzzi wasnt working.

Location to Sharm only 10 Min's away by taxi dont use taxi's outside hotel they are deathtraps use hotel taxi's hotel staff will do anything for you they knew what drinks we wanted by 2nd night remember to tip a quid every now and then and they will never forget.

Entertainment OK try Mr Concorde great fun to watch I had a go and won the DVD will never be seen in public ever! If you have teenagers watch out for male cleaners they can be a bit over friendly??

We agree that this isn't a 5* hotel and is comparable to 3* and 4* hotels we have stayed in in Kenya and the Dom Rep. However, we thought it provided excellent value for money. We booked through Thomas Cook TV because they gave us a good price and with good flight times. Try to get a flight that arrives in the daytime so you can see the amazing scenery of the Sinai peninsular as you fly over.

Staff are excellent. They all say hello and the waiting staff in the restaurants always make sure you have a drink and clear your plates promptly. Bar staff at the infinity pool get to know your drinks so when you get there, they get them without you asking. After reading other reviews, we decided to tip but after the first day, we realised that it wasn't necessary and we still got excellent service. Tipped the cleaner every few days and got some amaing towel designs in return. We had a couple of minor problems but the staff sorted them immediatley.

We were there for our wedding anniversary so before we went, I emailed the hotel to see if they could do something. They replied and said they would give us a cake. On the day of our anniversary, they came to the room with a huge chocolate gateau. Other guests who had birthdays received cakes in the restaurant and the staff sang happy birthday.

There was a large choice of food because as the hotel caters for lots of nationalities, they do a varied selection. Lunch was usually at the beach bar, pool bar or Italian and dinner and breakfast were in the main buffet restaurant. At dinner, there is a pizza and pasta station where you can basically get what you want made in front of you. There's a huge choice of desserts. At breakfast you can be good and get food from the Diet Corner or be naughty and try some of their loveley cakes and pastries.

Most days we got to the infinity pool at 8.30 to get our towels and sunbeds before breakfast. Always managed to get 2 in a good spot and with table and umbrella. If you don't get an umbrella, tell the pool staff and they will try to get you one.

The Animation team work very hard. In the morning and afternoon there is water volleyball in the infinity pool and aerobics there in the morning. I think a few more things happen over in the Sports Complex such as football and darts on the beach. In the evening, you either have dancers or an 'audience participation' event. Men will like the dancers (usually members of the animation team) because of their miniscule costumes. There are Miss Concorde, Mr Concorde and Ideal Couple competitions which are mainly entered by the Russians but when the Brits enter, they get the most support. They are very funny to watch. When you eat, there is a guitarist entertaining you who is so bad he's good. If you like Elton John, Eric Clapton or Ronan Keating then I suggest you avoid him! There is the Piano Bar which is nice to go to and relax after eating.

Booked a few trips through our Thomas Cook rep (who was excellent by the way). Cairo by bus was $100 each and although it was a long day, the coach was only half full so we were able to sleep most of the journey. Pyramids were amazing and would definitely recommend. Also did the Adventure Safari which was ok, quad biking which is fun and very dirty and best to do at the end of your holiday and Arabian Nights which was a good laugh - we got dragged on to the stage to become whirling dervishes.

I had never snorkelled before so I was a bit cautious. We bought Egy Sub snorkels from the hotel shop and found these to be the best ones. After practising in the pool, we snorkelled off the beach and it was amazing. We also booked the Glass Bottom Boat trip with Rambo from the beach and saw a turtle. Would recommend this if you can't snorkel.

Overall we had a really good holiday. It was excellent value for money and would recommend it.

Hotel is excellent value for money. Don't look for 5* equivilant to UK or even Spanish standards except for the standard of service from the staff. It is worthy of any 5* albeit a tip helps!!

Divided into 2 sections main and sports. Sport is cheaper but many people seemed to prefer it including myself.

It's quieter, more space round pool, less of the Butlins feel. There are also less Russians. Reports on the food seem to differ - I thought it was pretty awful. Burgers at pool bar are good though.

For an AI hotel there are too many restrictions. Nothing available to drink until 10.00a.m. except at breakfast. Snacks consist (at sport) only of burgers, hotdogs, fish or salad with chips.

Only available from 1 - 3. Not a minute more or less!! If you try to take a drink from the bars to your room they will charge you room service.

As there is no alcohol available in the supermarkets round the complex if you like a quiet drink on your balcony take your own!!

If you want a table outside for dinner there are 2 waiters who rule the outside roost. A tip to them secures a table outside with drinks waiting. If not you're inside. It is worth it particularly if you want to watch the "entertainment".

It's also quite entertaining to watch the other guests who haven't sussed the system out throwing a tantrum when all the tables are taken at 7.30!!

Anyone who wants to use the ice skating centre - take your own skates if luggage allow. enough. The skates have no edges are are unusable for anyone who can skate (or can't). It is an excellent ice pad. I wish I'd taken mine. costs a fiver.

There are no dolphins although the pool has been extended. When I asked if they were returning you got very different answers depending on how you ask the question.

The guys who work the sports complex say that they are hoping to bring them back but they are trying to overcome strong opposition from official sources. Hopefully they wont be allowed to have them again.
Dress is very casual.

Beach is not a sandy beach - it is man made on 3 levels with sunbeds squashed up against each other. The snorkelling is wonderful. Entry is only from a jetty into pretty deep water. No paddling from this beach!

The hotel was lovely and clean and the grounds were beautiful.

We was all inclusive and found the food was to quite a high standard, we are both fussy eaters and always found something to eat, and there was lots of choice.

The hotel was about a 15 min cab journey from Namma bay but i wouldn't really have wanted to stay any closer.

The staff were always helpful especially the pool boys and we didn't feel like they was only after tip.

We didn't really see much of the entertainment as we was happy sitting in the piano bar with a drink.

We probably would visit this hotel again but not for a couple of years.
