The staff apart from the bar staff at night (a bit slow) were excellent, they couldn`t do enough for you.

The cleanliness was very good plus our cleaner made some excellent arrangements with towels (swans, crocodiles etc)

The range of food was excellent, very well prepared, and replenished on a regular basis.

The hotel was located in an ideal position right on the beach with superb snorkeling off the coral reef.

The only slight downside was that there are a lot of new hotels being built in the area and if there is strong breeze you can get abit of dust.

Entertainment was not a priority for us but it was reasonable.

Be aware that the all inclusive finishes at 11pm

This was our first time to Eygpt and to the Concorde El Salam and we had a fantastic time. The hotel is perfect, we were very lucky to have an amazing sea view (room 6125). Our room had queen size bed, interior and bathroom was lovely, tv, all rooms have a safe at no extra charge which was very handy. The room got cleaned everyday and we were suprised everyday with the designs that the towels were arrange in and on most days the cleaner would put some small fresh flowers in the designs (hearts & swans etc).

The Food - the food is fantastic : loads of choice for breakfast - fresh omelettes, cereals, fruit and loads more. Lunch and evening meals included fresh pizza & pasta, different kinds of rice, all meats and fish, salads. The pool bar does luch from 1-3pm offering fresh burgers (stunning), hotdogs and chicken. Me and my partner had no complaints! Lets just say i put on a couple of pounds, but if you do watch what you eat (healthy)there is plenty of choice!

The service is brilliant. The pool bar guys were fantastic, in particular Rafaat and Gommaa, but they were all very polite and helpful even the manager of the pool bar, who was probably the the happiest guy we seen all holidays. We did tip particular waiters in the resturant and bar which does make a difference, just a small amount every so often.

We ordered room service a couple of times which again was lovely, not expensive and was delivered quickly!

The pools are stunning and the infinty pool was never cold, which i had previously read on the internet! The beach is again lovely with no complaints. we never had a problem getting sun loungers by the pool or beach and we were never up early!

The sea, coral and fish are out of this world! reading about it is one thing but seeing in is wonderful. The hotel has its own jetty, where you will be amazed at the fish and coral. We did a snorkelling trip on a boat a couple of days into the holiday and it was a lovely trip but the coral and fish at the hotel jetty was just as good as the places we went on the trip! But we did see dolphins on the boat trip.

We also done the Mount Sinai (Moses) trip! lets just say it was an experience. You trek up the mountain for 3hours at night to see the sunrise - the mountain is over 7500 ft high!!! Me and my partner began to get ill (upset tummy) when we were on the mini bus going there, before the trek! The trek would of been quite difficult for most people, but doing it when you just want the toliet and be sick - it wasnt fun. Words will never described what we were feeling so i wont go on! When we got to the top it was pretty amazing seeing the sunrise, which happens quick and before you know it your going back down! coming down i thought would be easier but its not! you come down a way which is ment to be easier, i dont call over 3500 rocky steps down a mountain easy, especially after a 3 hour trek up the mountain! It was kind of dangerous, i'm 22 and go to the gym 5 days a week and even if i wasnt ill (in my eyes at the time i was dying) i would of still found it diffiiuclt and not really what i call fun!

We also went to Luxor by plane (

I cannot praise this hotel highly enough. Everything about it was superb.

Tip the staff little and often and they treat you like royalty. Hanny and his staff in the piano bar were absolutely brilliant.

I could go on, but suffice to say I have already booked to return there next year.

We stayed at the Concorde El Salam which was amazing. It was better than any hotel I have ever been to. Our next holiday will definately have a lot to like up to.

The hotel was really clean - people always tidying up and trimming hedges etc.

The food was brilliant amazing choice, lots of different places to eat - the Laguna restaurant at the main sit was brilliant with fresh pizza and pasta. At each meal time there was always so much choice.
The Italian was brilliant at lunch times and is highly recomemded on a sunday evening (food all inclusive but have to pay for drinks on a sunday evening).
The pool bars also have great food the burgers and chicken kebabs are brilliant.

All the staff where lovely and friendly especially the pool bar staff.

We went on some trips - which where all brilliant. It is advised to book the trips from Shaggy or Mohamed who walk around the hotel and on the beach as they are cheaper than through your rep. The quad biking is recomended (go on the morning its less busy) aswell as snorkelling to Turin Island.

The sports complex is not to be missed - it offers just as much as the main site and more - the pool is less busy and more relaxed, the staff are really friendly.

At both sides there is never a problem with spaces - eg tables and sun loungers there are plenty to go around (on egyptian night if you want to site outside arrive early).

All in all it was a fantastic holiday, i cannot praise it enough - highly recomended. I would go back tomorrow.

Just a quick review as I am sure my fiancee will put in a much more detailed one soon. In a word great. Lovely hotel, great beach/reef area, lovely food and the staff were without exception fantastic.

Very laid back atmosphere all of our party felt very relaxed. Tips wise I think little and often is probably right you can find yourself getting carried away otherwise.

Don't miss the snorkelling of the hotel beach it is awesome our friends went on an arranged snorkel trip and didn't see half of what was on the hotel doorstep.

In short if you have booked or are thinking of booking I would say its a good move.

This really is a beautiful hotel. The amount of facilities it has are amazing! Everything from swimming, sunbathing, gym, spa, horseriding, ice skating and many more!

The pools are wonderful and the beach is a snorkellers paradise!

The food is ok but who goes abroad for the food?

The staff are very friendly and helpful!

The rooms are quite spacious and very clean!

Not much entertainment, quite boring at night unless you go to naama Bay!

This hotel was magic, realy enjoyed our stay.

We were at this hotel when the tragic events of the bombs going off happened.
As i am reviewing the hotel i wont mention the bombs again.

The staff were fantastic especialy rafa at the pool bar, a small tip now and again and they give you bottled water even though they are not supposed too.

the food was poor but the italian a,la carte was superb, although a/i you had to pay but you get a 40% discount. Shorky was our wiater and he was terrific, he loves english football so i gave him my Beckham shirt as a thank you.

they do work for tips as they are so poorly paid.

all in all this hotel was well worth its 4 star rating and we would definatly return.

We had 3 double-rooms booked but I was travelling on my own - the Hotel upgraded us to a suite at no extra charge which was brilliant - definately better than just a room if there are more than 2 of you travelling.

The hotel is built on a hill so I would advise people with walking difficulties that this isn't the place for them.

The hotel was clean, food great and the staff were friendly.

We checked out at noon but we did not have to pay for any drinks or meals - it was all still AI. It would be better if the AI was unlimited. The Italian restaurant was FAB (free at lunch but you had to pay in the evening)

This hotel was fantastic, it is contained within lovely grounds and is set out in a way that is easy to find your way around. The hotel in kept very clean and in your room the towels and sheets get changed regularly.

The food at the hotel was great with lots of choice, there is also an italian restaurant which is supberb although is not AI on a night. (Although drinks are included)
As for drinks, they don't measure the spirits, and on more than one occassion I got a vodka and coke which hardly had any coke in.

The location of the hotel is good with an on site supermarket should you need it. The hotel provides a shuttle bus free of charge into Naama Bay which takes about 20mins.

The hotel is built on a hill which is hard work walking up in the heat, I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with walking difficulties.

The staff at the hotel are so friendly and can't do enough to help you, the staff in the italian are especially nice and will keep the drinks coming all night.

As for tipping a lot of people said that it's hard to find a table in the main restaurant on a night and that if you tip the waiters then they'll make sure you get one, this isn't the case we had no problems getting a table and the service from the waiters was the same whether you tipped them or not. If you do give tips then it's better to tip little and often.

The entertainment at the hotel was good, during dinner you have a man with a guitar singing, usually until about 9pm and then they have different shows and competitions around the complex so it's best to have a look at the board in the main restaurant when you go for breakfsat to see where the entertainment is going to be.

Overall we had a fantasic time and would definitely visit this hotel again.
