The hotel was lovely I'm afraid it was rather let down by the food, breakfast were fine, lunch and dinner were rather a hit and miss.
The pools were wonderful. The beach area was a bit crowded and noisy. We only went down for the fabulous snorkelling, which has got to be seen to be believed.

The best thing about the Concorde has to be the staff, each and every one were so helpful. The Reception staff, piano bar staff, restaurant staff pool bar staff all were excellent. Oh and not forgetting the towel boys. All staff so friendly and polite. They really made our holiday special.
The 2nd day of my holiday was my birthday and the restaurant staff gave me a cake and the Housekeeping made some lovely decorations in my room and left a nice note wishing me Happy Birthday- small things like this go a long way in my book!
The Food in the hotel was nice and always plenty of it, i would highly recommend eating in the Italian restaurant too as it over looks the beach and has a wonderful atmosphere. The food is also great and always plenty of choice.
Pools- Well apart from being freezing (main pool) they are fab, plus the swim up bars in both the Concorde and Concorde Sport are ideal for getting a refreshing drink to cool you down. The staff at the pool bar are very funny and always serve you quickly. Heesham, Amir and Raffat are great. Also the manager who is always around by the pool bar is very friendly.
Rooms- Claen and nicely Furnished, hair dryers in bathroom and rooms are cleaned and towels changed daily.
Entertainment- not fantastic, although the entertainments team work very hard and our a great bunch. Lots going on in the day- make sure you read the notice boards every day.
As for Namma Bay-make sure you visit. Its great for a night out. Few clubs and lots of bars, its all lit up-like a mini Las Vegas at night too. Better then i expected. Only 10-15 mins by taxi and costs 35 Egyptian pounds (

Rooms were spotless and cleaned every day to a high standard. The staff were excellent and very friendly.
We tipped little and often and it did make a slight differnce to how you were treated, drinks refilled before you had even finished them.
My son who was 11 did the scuba diving with mariner divers who were situated on the beach. They were very professional and we would recommend them to anyone wanting to try scuba for the first time.
Would love to return to this hotel.

The rooms are lovely spacious and modern. The facilities are amazing, and range from ice skating to horse riding.
The beach front is fantastic with access to the hotel reef via a floating pontoon. A dip in the red sea is a must, like swimming in an aquarium.
We found the staff more than helpful, always smiling and pampering to your every need. We felt no pressure to tip and didn`t do so for the first few days, but still got excellant service.
The entertainment is modest and nothing to write home about. We found no problem with the food, it was well cooked and tasty with a good choice. but you have to like chicken as its served with every meal in some form or another. Even for breakfast, chicken sausage.
The hotel is next to the airport, but aircraft noise was not to bad. When checking in ask for a room away from this, we did and got one without a problem. Only drawback is the russians they tend to be rude and pushy, but its fun watching the females all dolled up tottering along the beach in their high heels.
Thats about it, would we go back, Yes.

Once at the Hotel the bags are removed from the transport and delivered to your room after checking in, which takes 10 mins at the most depending on how many check in.
The room we were in had 2 queen beds, TV, free safe, fridge etc. Towels and bedding were changed on a daily basis with flowers on the bed everyday. The room like the hotel was spotless.
Food in the hotel was very good and varied everyday although I would recommend the Italian for lunch which is a small buffet with pizza, pasta etc. The staff here as, in the rest of the complex could not do enough for you. They are very polite and love to chat in whatever lingo you choose.
The only downside are the Russians who seem to have a chip on their shoulder, but once you accept this then watching them huff and puff with no reward is quite gratifing. More so when the staff tend to favour the other nationalities and ignore them as much as possible.
Entertainment is very much as reported by others. In the daytime there is plenty to do if you want but you are under no pressure to join in.
This is the first time we have been to Egypt and have already booked to return to this complex

The beach layout is good and there are four places you can eat lunch (not including the places on the sports complex)!
OK, it's full of Russians who swan around and think they own the place, but we just laughed at them, the staff did too... In fact the staff hate them, and it's because of this that they take so much to the other nationalities.
The staff are brilliant here, they genuinely will go out their way for you and are not just in it for the tip. We had such a good laugh with them.
Make sure you stay in the main hotel and not the sports complex, different tour operators have different ways of booking so check beforehand.
We can't wait to go back.

Food in the hotel was excellent at all times with plenty of choice. Always a roast at evening meals served by a very obliging chef. If you like fish there is a selection available. Plent of room in the dining rooms which are split into smoking and non smoking sections.
The main infinity pool is a bit on the cold side at this time of the year but there are two smaller pools which are warmer. Also there is an indoor heated pool which has a jaccuzzi, steam room and sauna adjacent to it. No problem getting sunbeds at any time during the day and the pool towel man was brilliant, always insisting that he would personally put the towels on your sunbeds.
The pool bar was always busy and did a good selection of food at lunchtime. And yes,the burgers are probably the best that you will get anywhere.
The hotel staff were, without exception, always very friendly and helpful. Small tips were welcome by them but they never gave the impression that they were expected.
The sea was much warmer tha the pool and the snorkling off the jetty was amazing, such a variety of fish. Also a very good beach bar.
The overall cleanliness was brilliant. Never a scrap of rubbish to be seen. Our room was fairly basic but everything worked. Our room boy kept it very clean and kept making swans etc with the towels. He also brought us a little christmas tree for the room on Christmas eve which we thought was a lovely touch.
The entertainment was`nt brilliant at all times but we did have several nights when proffessional acts came in.
Overall, a fantastic holiday. So good tat we have already booked to return next Christmas.

We would recommend again, we had a really chilled week. Russians are pains in the bum, arrogant and rude, the staff think so as well, so when they know you're English and if you are polite they will been nice back and look after you far better.
Loads of facilities horseys, footy, volley ball, ice skating!! and all thoroughly supervised.
Drink is local and you have pay for international brands but hey how many of us know what brand we're drinking after 7 or 8 gin and tonics!!!
We would suggest you do the quad biking really good fun!
Only real issue is that the Airport is a military airport that has been converted into a international one hence its mayhem at all times. Rest assured they're building a new terminal so that should change soon!

The food was varied and very well cooked and presented. The facilities were first class and the majority of the staff were eager to help you in any way they could.
The hotel was kept absolutely spotless by an army of cleaners and groundsmen. Our room was always immaculate and our cleaner regularly added his own little touches like arranging the towels into heart shapes and folding our nightwear.
The hotel is right on its own section of beach and there are plenty of places to get drinks dotted around.
The entertainment was not really our 'thing' but others seemed to enjoy it.
All in all we had a fantastic time and are planning to go back next year.

Due to a 3 hour delay we arrived at the hotel around 12am. On arrival a small buffet had been laid on and we were encouraged to eat and then check in. This was my first taste of the yummy hotel food and I was not disapointed. Check in was straight forward and the reception staff all very smiley and happy.
Our room was truly fantastic! We booked a Superior room through First Choice and upgraded to Seaview with the hotel. The size of the room was HUGE! We had two large single beds which we pushed together to make a king size. Two large wardrobes were availabe as well plenty of drawer and cuboard space. The bathroom was big, modern and very clean. It had a shower/bath, hairdryer, and toiletries like shampoo, soap and bubble bath were provided. The maids did a superb job of cleaning everyday. We tipped around
