Food was okay. Without sounding awful, I've had better, but then I've had worse. For the price we paid for the holiday it was fine. The only slight complaint we had (which we reported to management and hopefully will take comments on board) was regarding the pizzas. On two occasions (when it was really busy), "selfish people" were just taking any pizza because they couldn't be bothered to wait for theirs, which resulted in having to order again and wait another 10/15 mins. It happened to some of our party and quite a few others we had spoken to.
We arrived when a new animation team had just been employed (3 staff) so for the first week not much was going on. By the end of the 2nd week more staff had arrived and they were busy getting their programmes together, so hopefully the entertainment will improve!!! Egypt night round the pool area was nice because there is more of an atmosphere. Their minature golf (crazy) opened on the 13th Nov.
I don't usually go back to the same countries/resorts, but can honestly say that because of the great location for snorkelling/diving, I would consider going back. Not very often you will have that on your doorstep.

The food selection at this hotel is not large, but what they have is nice, although we did find a couple of trips into Naama bay for dinner a nice change. Food is served throughout the day so you will never go hungry.
The pool area and the beach areas are lovely and never got very busy. The hotel provides free beach towels (very handy to hide under when the wind was blowing).
The staff are very friendly and very helpful.
Other than the food selection the hotel was excellent and i would def go back again.

Were thrilled with the room, although disappointed there was no mini-bar.
We were totally pampered by the staff and cannot fault them.
The food was disappointing as we hoped there would be a waiter service restaurant. Breakfasts were superb but lunch and dinner were not varied enough and of course we had to queue for food!
The pool bar was lovely as was the Sunset bar, but the pool was noisy during the day. One of our criticisms however were the plastic glasses used in the bars. Obviously this is to eliminate breakages, but they had been totally overused and over washed in the dishwasher.
The local spirits all tasted the same.
The private beach was superb and we've never experienced such wonderful swimming.
Although the hotel was close to the airport, we never experienced any airport noises.
All in all we had a lovely week, but had hoped that it would have been a little classier.

Good points:
- Good location, close to coral reefs.
- Rooms were nice, the cleaning staff were excellent, and even re-stocked the fridge with water daily.
- Daily cocktail and local beer was good.
- Pizza's at Rustique restaurant are made in front of you.
Bad points:
- My boyfriend got a bad case of food poisoning and was bed ridden for 3 days.
- We had booked a trip to the Pyramids and had to cancel due to the food poisoning. We were not given our money back and the hotel would not compensate us even though it was their fault my boyfriend had gotten food poisoning!
- Mahfouz restaurant - quality of food in general was pretty bad, I expected more from the Hilton.
- Lunch at the outside restaurant, the food is left out and was covered with flies.
- Air conditioning in our room started leaking water, we were told someone would see to it, but no one came.
- Whilst my boyfriend was ill, I had to eat alone for every meal. The waiters gave me endless hassle, needing a full explaination at every meal as to why I was alone, where was my husband/boyfriend/family. I got so sick of it I started going to the local supermarket to get food, it was easier than going through a full on interogation all night.
- I got locked in a toilet in the reception area for 45 minutes. Luckily the lock broke off, no one came to help.
- We bought 2 internet access cards during our stay, the hotel tried to charge us for 3.
- Sunbeds by the pool were nearly impossible to get unless you get up really early.
- The night time 'entertainment' was dire.
For me, the bad points of this hotel far out weighed the good. I felt that I had been completely ripped off. This is the first time I had stayed in a 'posh' hotel and its the first time I've had big problems whilst on holiday. This place should not be a 4* hotel. I have stayed in backpackers hostels that have been way better than this place.

The room boy kept the room immaculate, leaving animals on the bed made out of towels etc.
I would have liked to have had an a la carte restaurant in this hotel, where the dress is more formal. The restaurants are smart/casual and I think an a la carte restaurant would have been appreciated by many of the holiday makers.
The entertainment was not very exciting but nothing I would complain about.
You cannot walk into the water from the beach because of the coral, you have to walk along a jetty to the sea where you can go snorkeling and diving, the fish are fantastic and the dolphin was there one day playing with the snorkellers.
The trips are excellent, particularly the trip to the Bedouin Village, where you go on camel to the village for dinner.
I would recommend this hotel to couples especially. There does not seem to be much to do for children.
We spent our days at the beach where the music is very relaxing and you can pop to the beach bar for ice cream and cool drinks. The lunch at the Sunset Bar is very nice, nice filled rolls, hotdogs and crisps.

The hotel was extremely clean throughout. All the staff were very friendly and helpful especially the room boy who continually amazed us each day with his towel sculptures!
The food and drink were plentiful and there were never any queues. The food in the Rustica Italian restaurant was especially good and the pizzas the best we have tasted outside Italy.
The location was ideal, especially for the diving and snorkelling.
It's not a hotel to go to if you are looking for a lively time, if you want that try Naama Bay.
The only slight criticism we would make is regarding the entertainment. To be honest it is pretty dire! They try hard but the animation team wouldn't even get past the first stage on the X-factor.
We would definitely go back

We went with 2 other friends and are all aged 21 - 24 and found the entertainment, staff, food, drink to be everything we could ask for.
We have been back now for 24 hours now and already planning on going back ASAP.
In general food, staff, hotel, rooms, company was more than you could ask for. My advice is get out there now.

The hotel was lovely, clean and very well maintained.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
We had different towel sculptures everyday, we were welcomed with 2 swans on our bed looking like a heart.
The staff work so hard to make your stay really enjoyable.
The food was good, a very wide choice, there was always something that you would fancy. In fact there was so much choice it was difficult sometimes!
There was always water available either in your room or in dispensers.
