I'm a very fussy eater but never went hungry I tended to have the fresh pasta meal most nights but my husband is more adventurous and tried everything Eygptian he liked some meals not others the breakfast and lunch was excellent and surely most people would find something no matter how fussy you were.
The staff were just the best I have ever encountered so friendly and helpful yes I know they are hoping for a tip but you give them one anyway because they are so helpful they always asked our names and never forgot them the towels sculptures that most people mention are a lovely touch and the cleaning boys work so hard.
The hotel grounds are beautiful very pretty flowers the hotel was not that busy when we were they so never had a problem with sunbeds personal space etc the pool was very warm like bath water.
The entertainment left a lot to the imagination very childish at times and made you cringe but they did work very long hours and feel guilty saying they were rubbish but they should stick to entertaining the children.
My husband did not like the plastic glasses given at the pool bar and sunset bar but I understand this was mainly for safety reasons around the pool but why they used them in the sunset bar is a mystery they didn't use them in the restaurants.
The beach is only very small with around 25 sunbeds available but didn't cause us any problems it was a little too hot down there for us and the Russians seemed to take over the beach.
All in all I would return to the Hilton sharks bay resort without a second thought by the way no hint of any tummy trouble at all hand hygiene very important.
Used alcohol gel all the time hence no need for the Imodium.

We didn't need to tip to get one saved. We spent most of the time on the beach, with the sunset bar serving snacks and drinks most of the day it was very handy.
We found most of the staff very friendly and always wanting to please, without expecting to be tipped. We will certainly go back to this hotel very soon and this time we hope to take our family,

The comments from last peoples entry are spot on so we won't repeat them.
In relation to the hotel it is situated on a very steep slope cut away into 3 sections.
The main hotel eating and pool/bar area, then down to a smaller pool area with blocks of rooms either side and finally the terraced areas overlooking the beach which has access only by steep steps.
The hotel does have concrete ramps for wheelchair users but you would have to have bloody strong arms to use them and the beach access is a no no.
Sunbeds never a problem, staff always wanting to chat and very friendly.
We tried all the eating 'stations' some were self service, others you were waited on the quality was always very high and varied. We could order a meal or a snack from 7am to 2am and it was never a problem.
The entertainment was the let down the animation crew did the usual pool games during the day and if you wanted peace as did we you simply walked to another pool area but in the evening there was only 2 shows worth watching all week, the rest were laughable.
If your looking for a first class hotel with great service great food and a relaxed time then this is the one I would recommend as great value for money.

The rooms are immaculate, and ours opened out on to a small kidney shaped swimming pool which was perfect. Food all round was excellent, with a wide choice at all meals. At a meeting with Peter, the General Manager, I reported that some of the plastic glasses at the pool bar were cracked - not good in a hot Country as they could be the cause of tummy upsets.
The following morning, all the glasses had been replaced. It is nice when Companies take notice! I cannot comment on the entertainment, as we crashed out after dinner.
We do not normally visit the same place twice, but we will certainly return to HSB.

Hotel in its self was very clean, staff were superb, towel sculptures great fun, especially when they used my husbands clothes to make a dummy on the bed and we thought we had the wrong room (gave us a fright and a good laugh)The snorkelling of the hotels own jetty was out of this world. Visits to Nama Bay and Hard Rock Cafe is a must even if you are all inclusive. The hotel runs a bus to Nama Bay every hour and is very well organised
The weather is incredible not a cloud in the sky and high 40's every day
The only down sides were the re usable plasic glasses at the pool bar, these were diry and cracked which we feel may have been the cause of tummy upsets in all our party, and basically everyone at the hotel... so take plenty on imodium.
Although we found something to eat every night we found the quality of the food average (and we are not fussy eaters)
If you do visit Nama Bay be prepared to be pestered by shop keepers who jump on you as soon as you get of the bus
Over all good holiday

The hotel was near to the airport but no aircraft noise was heard, the hotel was spotless staff were very friendly the pool was really nice we spent alot of time in the pool as the heat was unbearable at times
We both got a funny tummy unsure if it was the food or the heat but that really didnt spoil our holiday all in all a very good holiday and would certainly recommend this hotel.

The waiters and barmen were friendly, efficient and very eager to fulfill our every need. We felt very welcome, and never felt like the service as not good.

The Hotel was just great. The question of what star rating it is doesn't come in to it....it was spacious , airy, clean, friendly and in a surperb, quiet location. Although there was a mix up on room allocation when we arrived, the hotel reception staff sorted things out and we were allocated the 3 rooms we had booked, all with great sea views and balonies.
Travelling with picky teenagers and two younger children, food was always on our list of potential worries. Again, we shouldn't have worried. The food options here were excellent, with something to be found for everyone (certainly in our party)
Not having been here before we were amazed at how the coral face was just at the end of a pontoon off the beach with wonderfully coloured fish so close. We booked various things through Sinai Dive club (wonderful, encouraging staff) including a boat charter on our last day which was excellent.
The entertainment was similar to other hotels we have stayed at and you either like that sort of thing or you don't.The Animation team were friendly and did their best.
All, and We mean all, the staff were friendly and always had a genuine smile and greeting, not to mention the towel sculptures, sweets and cakes they left for us.
We would most certainly stay here again for a relaxing and peaceful family holiday.
