Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.
Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

A definite must hotel and a little way out of the city so very quite and security is very tight at the resort. There are buses and cabs which will take you to the town centre but there are local shops which sell everything.

This is a purpose built resort, which we found to be very clean and a pleasant place to be. There are plenty of resaturants and bars in Na'ama Bay, plus shops etc. There's not much public beach, but most of the hotels have beach or sea access.

The resort was fantastic for snorkelling, diving and relaxing. We stayed in and around our hotel as we prefer quiet holidays. We did venture out to Naama Bay one night, and were very disappointed.
It is very busy and commercial and people are always in your face trying to sell you something. We needed a few things, and found Old Town a lot quieter and more pleasant.
Sharks Beach is worth a visit as the snorkelling is fantastic and there is a shallow sanded area where the children can swim. Bring inflatables to keep the little ones entertained.
At Sharks you will need aqua shoes as the beach sand is very rough. Aqua shoes bought on beach were 50LE - good to support locals. A big bottled water is 12LE and soft drinks about 6LE.
Tried a trip to Ras Mohamed. It is beautiful. Worth a visit. Make sure you book a trip only to Ras, otherwise you won't have enough time to explore the reefs.

Naama Bay.
Purpose built tourist town with hotels, shops and restaraunts. We only visited one evening but it seemed very lively.

Most of hotels in Sharm el Sheikh seem self contained so Hotel report really same as Hotel.
Nama Bay nearest resort centre.
Choice of restaurants with the few we went in very clean
Egptians really friendly

The resort of Nabq bay is under development but is very clean and safe.
It is however a long way from any entertainement or shopping precincts, Naama Bay is a painfull 25 min bus journey away.
In the hotel locality there are acouple of supermarkets and shops but really nothing else so if you want to have a wander around in the evening other than the hotel grounds there is no where to wander.
The biggest dissapointment however has to be the sea, safe for kids but too shallow for an adult to swim in. with a long walk out in the sun it still only comes up to you knees. Really not as aexpected

Conrad Sharm El Sheikh is self contained this much has been mentioned before. The nearest resort is Naama Bay, many restaurants and shops. Shop owners are a bit pushy, worse than Turkey, Tunisia etc. The Hard Rock cafe served excellent food and the staffs were brilliant. Watch the taxi drivers; get a price before you get in. We booked return taxis from the hotel so you know the price and pay on return. Shuttle bus is well cheap but can be busy for the last one back at midnight

An army of cleaners work keep the place immaculate, owing to sharp pebbles and rocks the beach is unsuitable for young children.
Seemingly no entry into sea from the beach but swimming for strong swimmers and Snorkelling permitted from floating pontoon! The Ras Mohammed Boat trip was a disappointment as it was a case of follow the lead swimmer or be dragged along by the the man with the lifebouy. No free swimming or lagging behind is permitted, there are 3 snorkelling sites but I missed out the best and last as I'd had enough by that time.
Make sure your rented snorkel still has BITES and FLIPPERS are essential to stay with Mark Spitz out there in front!! The boat trip itself was O'K.
A great holiday if you just want to chill out!!

There isn't much going on around the hotel. There isn't anywhere you can walk to only a little stroll down the beach path that goes to the next couple of hotels ,a few restaurants and a few shops.
The beaches are very nice and the hotel provides loungers on the beach and you may be better to get a bed there rather than round the pool.
If you are closer to the pool than the beach then set your alarm so you can get a bed round the pool.
