Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.
Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.

Sharks Bay - Sharm el Sheik. Very quite resort.
Beach is nothing to write home about, very course sand, however, sunbathing areas are all terraced, loads of room and plenty of beds available, steps lead down to jetty’s into the sea for easy access for swimming, snorkelling and diving.
Excellent diving facilities on site at Hilton Sharks Bay Hotel, with good staff on hand, multi lingual too.
All Hotels alone the area face onto a prom which is kept very tidy and clean.

The resort was no bad. There're a lot of pubs and restaurants.
There're few casinos you can try your luck. Also you can go to the old town is about 15 to 20 minutes from the Center.
You can go with the motorbikes in the desert that was good fun.

What can I say about Sharm....?
The snorkelling. Fantastic. Absolutely amazing and if you like snorkelling, then Sharm is the place to go.
However, if you like a holiday with more to do than just snorkelling, then I don't think Sharm is the place.
I went expecting somewhere quite pretty and also somewhere with a bit of culture to it. How wrong was I! Sharm was westernisation gone wrong. It was tacky and although it had bars, was not a good place for night entertainment at all. We had a terrible job finding a nice looking restaurant on the one evening we went out. the one we did chose was impressive from the outside but scruffy inside. And expensive.
You're hasseled relentlessly in the day for people getting you to buy their stuff - not like you get in other places ie cheeky sales banter, but this was full on grabbing you to drag you inside and intense sales pressure. Be warned! Shops do currency exchanges as the banks etc have funny hours - we had the man in the shop do us an ok rate, but hung on to our money until he had sold us some perfume (which I did not want, but wanted to get my money back!)
I will never go back to sharm, it's not that I hated it, but there are so many places out there to see that are so much better, i wouldn't want to pay to go back - unless the deal was so cheap I would be mad not to.

Sharm is a real pretty resort, and lovely in the day. Naama Bay is the place to be at night! MDM, Hard Rock Cafe and the Black House are must visits!!
The beach in Naama Bay is great by day, and night.
This really was the most fantastic holiday ever and can't wait to go back with a friend in May!!!!!

Naama Bay is a fairly new resort. We found it to be very clean and well laid out.
It looks incredibly different at night than it does during the day. All flashing lights, like a mini Las Vegas. We did not encounter any Boom Boom bars and discos, the majority of people were couples enjoying a meal and some shopping.
Apart from the first night, we ate in Naama Bay every evening. There are a good choice of restaurants; Lebanese, Thai, Mexican, French, Chinese, Fish and of course, a Hard Rock Cafe! The Mexican was particularly good and can be recommended.
The drinks are also cheaper than hotel prices. On Average, we spent as a couple £20.00 per night on a meal, including drinks.
There are plenty of local open air lounges, were you can relax on cushions sipping some Bedouin tea while smoking a strawberry flavoured 'hubba bubba' pipe. Cost around £5.00 for the pipe.
The beach from what we saw during our only day trip to the resort, was small and very crowded.
Point to note, a lot of the hotels that were flagged up by the operators as being available, i.e. Three Corners resort and the Rosetta Hotel, were inland in the resort, being quite a distance from the beach, which did surprise me as tour operator descriptions usually say 'close to the beach’, so was glad we did not book those.
Can recommend the quad biking trip into the desert. Takes around 3 hours and comes back in the dark. It's a bit hairy
but good fun. Just make sure that your headlights work and that you get a bike that does not keep cutting out.
The Bedouin camel trip into the desert was also good fun, again takes around 3 hours, with a Bedouin meal thrown in, and eaten under the stars.
The diving in the resort is superb as is the snorkeling. We can recommend Tiran Island. Ras Mohammed is the other dive site to visit, but you have to be a reasonably experienced diver, due to currents and depths etc. Sinai Divers state they will not take anyone to this place, who has completed less than 20 dives.
Thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Planning to return in 2005.

This resort has to be the best kept secret. Don't go if your a lager lout or just going to drink yourself daft but go if you like peaceful relaxing break not suited for children more for couples.
If you do one thing go and snorkle in the sea, no words can discribe what you will see

White Knights Bay is quite small. There were only four hotels in the strip, 3 of which are all inclusive. You can visit any of these hotels but obviously you will have to pay there for any drinks you may have. The 4th Hotel is the Savoy and we were not allowed to just wander into their grounds.
The beach is clean, refreshments are adequate at the bars but the only entertainment is in the hotels so don't go there if you are a party animal! However the nightlife of Namaah Bay is only a £4 taxi ride away.
The big attraction is the swimming and snorkelling. It's like swimming in a tropical fish tank. There are so many beautiful coloured fish. You can get a chart from the diving centre to identify them all.

Sharm el Sheikh - what is there to say. Ideal for snorkeling depending on which Hotel you stay at. Like swimming in your own personal fish tank - with every colour fish imaginable. Weather has been great every time we have visited. People are great - friendly and can't do enough for you.
You can get hassled a bit in Naama Bay, but a friendly, firm, "No thank you" will suffice.

Sharm El Sheikh is a new up and coming resort and is very spread out, we stayed outside the two main shopping areas and thought the area was very good and very safe. It is the ideal place for snorkelling and diving. We will be going back again next year as it is only 5 hours from the UK and just as good as the carribean.
