Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.
Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

The resort is very nice, there are many shops in the area some as close as a five minute walk from many hotels!
There are two different beaches you can visit in shalm then further beach areas, the beaches are sandy but do have very little stones in certain areas. I recommend snorkeling as the corals and fish are absolutely beautiful! It tops anything I have seen, I stayed in the water for almost a whole day just staring at all the different fish, there are a lot!
There is also scuba diving excersions running from many hotels and also in the main town, which I'm sure any local would help you find!
The people in the town are very nice, but some stall keepers can try and hussle you into shops in hope of a sale. However there are many nice resteraunts to eat in and many nice places to sit and relax with friends and smoke the old hubba pipe, perfectly legal must add.
Shalm el Shiek is a great town, the old town however is not as busy and is cracked up for more then it is in all honesty.
But still Shalm on a whole is a wonderful place to visit, and offers many excersions such as the pyramids which are only a couple houred flight long, the weather is beautiful year round especially in comparison to Britain.

Garden areas neglected - bare in parts and overgrown in others. Litter snagged on shrubbery and not removed in whole during whole visit. Pathway near steps to the quiet beach area is nothing short of dangerous and at night the area is inadequately lit making it more dangerous. Entertainment was too suggestive at times for families with small children.
Beach itself is quite nice.
All in all a very disappointing holiday and very overpriced for what you get.I left 3 days early and went to another hotel

Naama Bay is great for a lively night. There are plenty of bars and restaurants - all very different providing great variety to suit everyones' taste.
The resort is kept spotlessly clean and the locals go out of thier way to have a conversation with you....and to get you into their shop or bar! :-)
The beach was owned by the hotel and was very disapppointing. It was extremely crowded with only a few inches between the sunbeds! Very frustrating! Despite this it was spotlessesly clean and the locals were friendly!

Stayed in Naama Bay area. Plenty of restaurants. Only fault as there wasn't many bars to have a drink / dance in at night. We found only three, and they were mostly sports bars - DJ probably later on in the night. The locals do hassle you, but you need to be a bit firm with them and say NO thank you. It was expensive for drinks though, TIP check the menu for extra 12% added service charge; this bumps up your bill.

I stayed in dreams beach resort and i absolutly loved it the resort is really clean and i am suprised how clean it actually was, many members of staff were around making sure everything was in its place. The resort entertainment was fair but the animation team made my holiday and on my last night we celebrated together and i loved every minute of it. The beach wasnt much of a beach but was great for relaxing and winding down, there was a great DJ on the beach called "Mano" which is also a part of the animation team which played music throughout the day. They are food bars and you can get drinks from the beach which is ideal, if you stand over the walk way on the beach you can see the beautiful fish and corals there are. Snorkeling was fantastic. There are people who walk along the pool area and beach to ask if you want excursions or if you want your hair done, it was annoying at first but i have become friends with alot of them and im pleased they pestered me. The shops that are on the resort are handy and i loved getting my eyebrows done in the beauty salon and enjoyed the atmosphere. If you are polite to the egyptians they wont pester you, I will definatly visit the resort again it was good stopping for a chat while i was walking around because i ended up getting to know everyone really well. I would like to thank the staff for making my holiday the best holiday i have every had, it felt like one big dream.

We visited Naama Bay on three occasions during our stay via the Hilton shuttle bus which is 20 EP each way per person and leaves on the hour from 6pm until 10pm and the last bus back leaves the drop off point (Hilton Farouez) at 11.30pm. I didn't relish all the hassle we'd been warned to expect, but to be honest it was fine and certainly no worse than Turkey or indeed the bar touts in the Canaries. A polite no usually worked that coupled wth just walking on by did the trick. Drinks were very expensive and food more so. We went to the Little Buddah for dinner (starving die to the hotel food !) we had a large water betweeen us 2 drinks, 2 starters and 2 main meals and it was £100 GBP for 2 people. The food was great but it did seem a tad steep.
We had a drink in the rooftop dive bar and again 2 vodkas, 2 local lagers and 1 can of coke was £28 GBP.
Resort was spotless and couldn't fault it for a varied choice of shops, bars and the shisha bars.
Of course the snorkelling was excellent and we hired a private boat for half a day for $400 with 4 friends also holidaying in Sharm. It was excellent and the 2 guys took us off the beaten track and away from where the organised trips were congregating. It was every penny, we loved our first experience in the Red Sea.

Baron Palms is located in the Sharks Bay area of Sharm El Sheikh and is 15minutes from the airport. We had a courtesy bus into Naama Bay which took about 20minutes. Naama is quite lively and there are plenty of shops and bars including Hard Rock Cafe. The beaches at Sharks Bay are clean and each hotel has its own private beach along with a jetty from which you can snorkel and marvel at all the marine-life.

There are a few shops around the hotel and a shopping centre a good 30 minutes walk away. The roads and paths ate clean but watch out for the guys on the camels as they'll really push you hard to have a photo taken with the camel . . and it will cost you. Be warned!

Well what can i say about this hotel top notch for the price you pay.We paid £520 for 2 weeks all inc end of march and was worth every penny. I see the moaners a groaners on this saying this and that and to be honest when i went i found nothing like what they where saying but you get them. Food is good and well presented and alot of choice. i tried a little bit of somthing diffrent but stuck to what i knew like chips, steak, fried eggs toast, and stuff i knew what it was no tummy upsets nothing. Only thing id its right nest to a water treatment plant and the noise in the evening from it can be annoying for some people but to be honest it never really bothered me.Ihave opened a st goerges three corners forum id descusions so if you want any hints or tips please ask. Me and wife off back to sharm next may enjoyed our stay there and i give the staff and resort a top mark.
