Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.
Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

We ventured out of the hotel a couple of times and didn't bother again unless we had to. The local shop keepers really hassled you, even running from wherever they were to try to get you to come in. They also had some bizarre tactics to get you in like asking you to sign their guest book or saying they wanted to give you a business card...
Have a stroll around the shops as it is an experience but be aware.
The HSBC bank is a minute away and they were very polite. However please note that there is a 2% commission charge on travellers cheques.
Taxi drivers will beep to see if you want a taxi and will just stop to ask whether you need one.
The supermarket was well stocked and well priced but check the dates on food as we bought some off milk that was virtually yoghurt...yuk! However the bar staff gave us some milk so that was nice.
The hotel's private beach is on the doorstep and very clean. The water is extremely shallow so be prepared to walk a few minutes before the water is at least up to your knees!

i would advise you to stay in naama bay, atleast then if you dont like hotel food, they are loads of local restaurants so you can eat out. plus there is lots more to do there.

Lots of building work about to be started or going on, mounds of rubbish everywhere. Will be a lovely resort when hotels are built. Not much entertainment apart from shopping. Beach is not sand more gritty, beach shoes are a must. Fish wonderful you do not need to snorkel to see them.

Eating out is more expensive now than 3 years ago, i would recommend A1, it saves you a lot of money. A couple of alcoholic drinks in hard rock will set you back £8. Night clubs namely Pascha will cost £20 with a free drink.
Very clean place, they work really hard.
Entertainment varies, mostly on the beach/hotels

We love this resort it is only 10min walk down into Hadaba (we have bought 2 apartments here and are rented out long term to people working here)where there are lots of bars and eateries. It's very cheap to eat out if you fancy something different than the hotel. There is a big water park just down the road mind you Reef Oasis was finishing of there own water park. We can not wait to go back and see all our friends. Try and do some diving or snorkling of a boat trip.

We visited Sharm el Sheikh to view the corals and fish of the Red Sea. While snorkelling was wonderful and our hotel was very good, Naama Bay was not really my idea of a great holiday resort (not much of a party animal any more).
I did tire of fending off shopkeepers and people trying to sell me newspapers (although I realise that is just the Egyptian way). We enjoyed a lovely boat trip to Ras Mohammed with a number of stops to snorkel, and wandered into Naama a couple of times, but apart from that just stuck to our hotel complex and the beach as it was so stress free and relaxing. We will definately return, and I think go on more boat trips perhaps to try scuba diving.

Been to Naama Bay a couple of times now. It is very overcrowded but there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Eat later to avoid the 7pm rush. Drinks are expensive if you are British. But they got cheaper towards the end of the Holiday as we went to the same bar a few times. Petra Cafe is very entertaining. The Staff are brilliant.
The beach with the jetty was very clean but the other beach (very long bus ride)although the sand was clean I would not go into the sea. It was always dirty. The shuttle buses run pretty regular day and night, but be prepared to get jostled.
