Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.
Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

We visited Sharm last year returning again. The sun & sea are the atraction for us. From observations we can see that there is a thriving community of people working who are trying increasingly to provide as much diversity as the people who visit in the choices & options that are on offer. Hard to beat the cleanliness anywhere.

Sharm is a developing resort for tourists only with no actual local interest except 'markets' (tourist shops and eateries) Good for snorkeling and diving. Coloured Canyons are good but would be too hot in summer (we went end Feb) Fine to relax and get a tan. Excursions to sites of interest (Petra, Cario and Luxor) expensive as so far away and need to fly there to make the most of them.

we stayed quite close to naama bay(£3 in taxi) for us this was more than luck than judgement, but im so glad as the hotel entertainment was dire.recommended restaurant is called dannanan and is a bit of a pain to find but it is excellent and worth the effort(app £30 for two inc wine)we ate here twice even though we were all inc.
if you want to go quad biking in the desert, a black guy called freddy(has a stand on beach) will sort it out for you, its about £14 each and well organised and half the price of others. its a must just to see the bedoin tribes.

The resort is up and coming with hotels being built which doesn’t spoil your holiday. You can get a free bus into Naama Bay. Book it day before you want to go either 2pm or 8pm which picks you up at 11.30pm and doesn’t rush back to hotel this being you have to buy drinks after midnight but we complained to manager and he sorted it out.
Beach is a lot better further down if you get on bus near beach bar which stops running at 1.30pm till 3.30pm to take people to Naama bay. If you fancy a change of food there is a McDonalds, Pizza hut and KFC for the kids I wouldn’t like to eat at other restaurants because the preparation of food probably won’t be the same as the hotel i.e. washing food in filtered water although they look very nice.

The resort of Naama Bay is good fun although there isnt a great deal to do. It's lively enough to have a good time without being too brash like some other holiday resorts. Plenty of restaurants, bars and little cafes in which to watch the world go by.
The food is pretty good (coming from a restaurant manager who's standards are quite high!) and quite reasonable too - I dont think we had a bad meal all the time we were there (apart from our hotel but what do you expect for a buffet aimed at the hotels Russian guests!)
Avoid going into shops if you can as they will hassle you until you buy something and don't, whatever you do, agree to sign the shopkeepers book for luck - it's just a ploy to get you in their shop!
Not a place to go if you want plenty to do but if relaxing is your thing, I dont think you will beat Sharm.

Not much at the resort of Nabq, but not a problem for us courtesy buses run to Sharm all day.
