Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.
Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

Although we went with Thomson, another guest recommend we book our tours outside the hotel with a firm call Cataract Tours, best move we made. They are in Naarma Bay just behind the Hard Rock Café and we saved a fortune, for example with Thomson the quad biking was £25 each we paid £15 for two and the day trip by plane to Cairo was £108 each whereas with Thomson it was £175. Seeing the pyramids is a must and because we booked outside we had a guide for the six of us who was simply fantastic. He arranged for us to go inside tombs that those on the Thomson tour never got to see and he also arranged a boat trip on the Nile which only cost £5 per couple. Also shopping was included in the price of the trip which was perfume, carpets etc., but we opted out of this so he took us back to a restaurant on the Nile where we had drinks until it was time to head back to the airport. The domestic flight from Sharm to Cairo is something else but worth doing as it is 6/7 hours by coach each way.
Only trip with Thomson we booked was the Dolphin swim. Here if I can recommend anything PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS SWIM. There are three dolphins who spend all there time in a pool less than half the size of the main one in the hotel. I have done the dolphin swim in Miami and dolphin encounter in Montego Bay and at both these locations these lovely mammals have so much room and freedom whereas in Sharm the really do not have much room at all. We entered the pool and were allowed to handle the dolphins as we wanted, I have to say that they did seem to like interacting with humans but their backs were badly scratched which I think is from where they perform shows in such small surroundings. Apparently they have been raised there and could not be released back into the wild but they could be moved to more suitable conditions. I have pictures of the pool they live in and really anyone who has done this sort of thing before would be broken hearted to see them, so again if more people boycott this then perhaps something will be done.
All in in all Egypt is definitely the place to go for guaranteed sun and relaxation, people are great and I would recommend this holiday to everyone.

The resort was beautiful, very tranquil and no reason to leave the hotel and resort if you didnt want to.
A few yards down the road out of the hotel was a little supermarket and shops, where you didnt get hassled to buy.
Quite far from the bustling Naama Bay, but shuttle bus available for £1 each way and taxi only £5.00 for half hour drive even at 4.30am!!
Beautiful beach cold sea when we went but crystal clear.
Snorkelling very good at end of jetty, no need to pay for a trip of you dont want to.
Overall a fantastic luxurious valu for money holiday would go again.

Great place I would definately recommen this resort to anyone looking for some sun, in partiular winter sun! Yes it can get very busy and you can get hassled by shop owners but isn't it like this everywere? Food is very cheap here with a two course meal for two inc drinks at the Hard Rock Cafe coming to £23!!!

Naama Bay is very busy and lively, a lot of different places to eat, we did a new one every night.
Be very careful with locals shop keepers or you could find yourself being taken in by them as they are very pushy!!
The beach walk is lovely in the evening and lots to see.
Plenty of bars, we had the best time at the Camel Bar the Indian restruant below was the best and not expensive.
The Little Budda bar was so expensive £6 for a Vodka and Tonic, just no need!! The Mexican next door was good though!! Didnt buy a single thing while there. Old Sharm is worth a visit not so commercialisted and cheaper again,
but beware of toilets in old Sharm very dirty.
Always carry wet wipes with you as the Egyption money is filthy dirty so must be full of germs.
Always barter with the taxi drivers they love it!!

More like a building site than a holiday resort.

Only went in to Naama Bay twice but ther are lots of places to eat and drink. You get mithered to go in shops but a polite no thanks is usually enough.
The free bus from the hotel drops you off at the sister hotel which is about 500meters from the shops and you have to cross a busy road so make sure kids are well supervised.

It is a newish and fast growing resort and one we will certainly visit again.
The beach as we found it was not the best in terms of sand etc. but the snorkelling off it using the floating pier provided was unbelievable! You will see loads of beautiful fish, the likes of which you could only imagine. you really have to see it to believe it.
In resort activities were plentiful if required although we just chilled for the majority of the time. Plenty of trips available, but shop around, the prices do vary.

Sharm was brilliant I went there after one introductory dive, thanks to this resort I am now a certified diver and totally hooked. You dont need to dive to enjoy the fish, snorkelling is brilliant.
The resort and beach were immaculatly clean. Equipment for watersports can be hired from companies on the beach at a reasonable price.
My wife went horse riding (10 minute trip in organised bus), both my wife and daughter went swimming with the dolphins.

The resort is a fantastic lively place. Our favourite was the Hard Rock, but go early if you want a seat, it gets quite busy. Also if you like Chinese or Thai, the restaurants in the Mall are amazing. Everybody wants a peice of you though, but just say 'no thank you' and move on. Egypt really is a fantastic place for some winter sun. Go, you will not regret it.

The resort itself is 5-10 mins away.
There are loads of shops, bars, street cafes to drop in on the way.
The resort is na'ama bay - it is the most amazing few streets you will ever come across. From traditional egyptian hubble bubble cafes, to hard rock cafe to kfc. Its strange, but nice strange.
The locals can be a bit touchy feely and 'lovely lady' etc - but take it in good fun and you will be fine.
Some hubble bubble cafes look a bit dodgy, but keep your wits about you and you will be fine. Im sure theres more to some of the pipes than 'strawberry water' but you never know!
Entertainment wise - its bit quite in some respects but can also be bustling too. It really does depend what your looking for.
Bars I would recommend. The tavern, camel bar, hard rc, budda.
Drink is expensive, but very similar prices wherever you go. Drink brand drinks, smirnoff isnt that much dearer from local stuff, but tastes 100% nice.
Avoid the wine - it is disgusting.
Eating out is soooooooooo cheap - mexican restaurant in centre of town is sooo cheap it is wrong not to try it.
The resorts are very russian and egyptian orientated - which makes a change from usual holidays - larger louts running around!
Weather is very nice and very very very warm - most days around 37 degrees, at night it drops to bout 25-30!!!
I would go back to this resort, i know what to expect re: nightlife etc.
