We loved Stalis and the people. They are some of the most friendly people we have met and make you feel like family. We never had one bad meal the whole fortnight. I would recommend this resort to anyone.

the resort of stalis is very clean and the local people are excellent , the taverna,s always welcome you . the local chemist owner called christpho is my personal favourite and plz say hellp for me (mike and kathy and mama dorothea) theres a lovely little church near by and the bars and supermarkets cater for all.its like most beach roads at night time , it can get a little busy , but nothing major. try out the happy train and have a ride
local taix,s are very reasonable aswell.all in all i great place to spend 2 week,s of pure relaxation

The resort was very clean. Resort entertainment was excellent for young and old with Malia being only five mins away for the young. The beaches were well looked after and very clean. We would recommend this resort and hotel Anastasia accomodation to everyone.
BRILLIANT HOLIDAY ALL ROUND !

Stalis wasnt a huge resort but has a good variety of shops, restaurants and bars. there was no hard sell and no one tried too hard to drag you into their bar. The roads were clean and tidy and the beach was the same.
A few minutes by cab was Malia which I think would suit the "youngsters" more but Stalis would be quite bustling during high season I expect.
All the local people we came across in the town were very helpful and very friendly. I tried to find a pharmacy on a Sunday and one shop owner gave me some medication of his own once a local lad had told him our dilema... and the next day all three people who helped us the day before recognised us and asked if our son was now ok.
Very very nice. We will return!

There are plenty of nice restaurants, bars and shops all with very friendly staff. We were pleased with every restaurant and bar we used. We particularly liked Korali family restaurant, which we used many times once we discovered it half way through the holiday.
The beach is nice, the sea is crystal clear and was warmer than the swimming pool at our accomadation which was surprising. When you walk out into the sea it is soft sand underfoot, no stones or shingle.
It is a very pleasant, friendly resort with a great atmosphere day and night.
The only thing you have to watch out for are the hired quad bikes and scooters flying around everywhere. We had a great holiday there and will go back again.

Stalis is a typical tacky tourist spot with miles of bars & restaurants on the beach road.
The food was great & the people were cheerful, if you like the idea of being a sardine then go on to the beach as it is loaded with people.
We only used the resort for food & drinks in the evening.
Thankfully we hired a car so we could tour other parts of the island & get out of stalis!!
The resort centre was about a 15 min walk from La Luna 2.

Lots of busy bars and restaurants, the majority of which are excellent value for money.
Our favourite place to drink was "Edem" and "Milia" both of which serve excellent cocktails at very reasonable prices.
Another favourite, which we only found on our last night was the "Satelite Bar" which serves the best Mexican food in the resort, their cocktails are also worth mentioning.
Outside some of the restaurants and pubs, there are the usual suspects trying to get your business, however, unlike Gran Canaria, if you say No they will walk away.
The beach was very clean, umbrella and 2 sun loungers will set you back €4 a day, the majority of restaurants face onto the beach front so grabbing lunch or a quick snack is never a hassle.

The resort of Stallis is not overly busy which is nice.
The beaches are fantastic, so clean and there's plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from all around the resort

The area it self was ok apart from the walk to get to everthing. There was not much entertainment for kids. The beach was ok but could be better.

Stalis itself i found boring. Lots of nice restaurants and a nice beach would be its forte. Stalis would be ideal for those who want a peaceful break away and a quite nightlife. I spent all my time in Malia, Only €6 in a taxi.. Well worth it.
