After seeing the resort on t.v. we were slightly apprehensive about going into the resort centre during the evening, however we were pleasntly suprised the resort had a lot to offer fron a small fair ground to the "sling shot" and not forgetting Bar Street.
The beach was clean and sea was lovely their was plenty of shops to browse around.
Last but not lease the weather was great!

Falaraki itself very safe and very hot and very cheap you will not be disappointed if you are due to visit there just hope your not going to the place we went to..
It definitely ROCKS will be returning next year but not to that Dump we stayed in..
Would recommend Alabama Bar opposite Asda true English pub with excellent staff and food and Jacks just off bar Street Music Out of this world. Another place to go is the BBQ restaurant in the main road it was lovely for food as well as the Bar opposite it is worth a visit as well.
Taxis cost 5 euros all round Falaraki wherever you visit and the Gold and Silver is worth looking at as it's a lot cheaper over there compared to our prices.

The resort is obviously well known for is party life. This is not aparent anymore. As you walk down the main street the bars are empty. Falaraki is pretty much dead. If you are going there for loud music and lots of drink and dancing this "was" the place but as I have just returned home from there I did not think it was anything like I thought it was going to be. Booze is very cheap tho (in most bars) but be warned some bars are very expensive even though they seem cheep at first glance. Beaches were ok but very pebbley, I found Lindos Beach a 45 min bus ride away to be alot more enjoyable then Falaraki Beach. If you want a traditional Taverna then it is very hard to find one that does dancing, food and drink. There is only one we found just past the Calypso Hotel.

The resort was clean and plenty of clubs and pubs. A fun fair for the children, the water park is worth a visit.
The beach was clean and the do-nuts yummy.

We weren't really in a resort as we were just outside Falaraki but having visited there I'm certainly glad we were not staying in the centre.

Faliraki is a fantastic resort yes their is many bars and nightclubs ,we are all in our fortys and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, however hubbys were very dissapointed they were never asked to go into the bars mind you had to keep an eye on our two 15 year old daughters as they were constantly asked too. if you want fun entertainent and lively then go but if you want piece and quiet then avoid, don't go and then complain about the noise. One other thing don,t believe all what you read in the papers in the time we were their we never saw any trouble in fact we never even saw any police checking up on things, my son (19) had been to this resort in June and he also said not once was their any trouble and he was with 'Twentys@ so go and enjoy

Faliraki is a great place to visit for both groups of friends... young couple and familys and thats definately the impression i got while i was there.....theres absolutely loads to do and no reason to be bored on the nights either.....the night life here is great no matter what people say about it being quiet now...its not!
Im not sure how or why falitaki got such a bad rep but it certainly doesnt live up to it...the place the food and most of all the people here are great...i speant 3 months here and cant wait to go back this summer and do all the things i couldnt fit in last year...hope that some of you will get to experience the REAL faliraki too.

faliraki is fab we worked there in 2002 in jacks in club street. The clubs are great, the Q club being the most popular for hip hop and a bit of cheese. This year was the first I went to the new club called liquid which is mainly for dance music and r n b.
The beach is amazing for relaxing or a bit of watersports or the bungee jump at aquarious on the beachfront.
I'll definetly be back in summer 2007 xXx

Falaraki is a lot quieter than recent years but there's still plenty to do.
Gone are the days of 18-30's lager louts and bad behaviour. All the bars go quiet from midnight but there's plenty of restaurants, bars and clubs to suit all tastes. Good placed to go are Manolis Taverna (round the corner from the Slingshot), Chaplins (for all day drinks and dancing), Underground bar for Karaoke and Bedrock Club for good music and friendly staff.
Avoid - Bar or Club street if you don't want to get hassled by all the PR's trying to get you into their bar, Slingshot (it's really expensive), Q Club ( it was smelly, dirty and full of unsavoury people) and don't get conned into going into a bar if it's quiet - it won't get busy.
Other tips: get the bus to Lindos and/or Rhodes Town for a break (only about 3 euros), go to the Water Park (something for all the family) and the A/B Supermarket is the cheapest for food and souvenirs.

Faliraki is a great resort. It was nothing like what was portrayed on that series. The main paces to go are bar street and club street and the beach is quite nice as well.
There are also loads of shops selling really cheap but good quality clothes and shoes.
There are some very good restaurants as well. Manolis is a speciality for Greek food !!!
We had a day out at the water park which was fantastic and Lindos is a must.
