Keep balcony doors closed at night. Got eaten alive by mosquitoes! Staff are extreamly friendly.

The resort offers everything for the holiday maker who just wants to relax and enjoy really lovely food. It does"nt attract the young because it is so lowkey and although a little hilly it is worth the effort for the peace and quiet.Good transport both by boat, bus and taxi are all good value.

Pefkos is a lovely little place, we have visited it twice before- staying at the Matina apartments the first time (HIGHLY recommend these!) and the Finas apartments the second visit- nice too! There is a large variety of eating places, with something for everyone from Italian, to Chinese to European. The wee bakery at the top of the hill is an absolute Must- their croisants are to die for!!!! Not too many shops but Lardos and Lindos are only a short taxi drive away (or a couple of hours walk if you feel adventurous- take plenty of water with you). The weather has always been absolutely fantastic- heatwave two out of the three visits. Very friendly staff in the shops, and beautiful beach. Would I go back to Pefkos- definitely!- but not in July again 'cos it's just a little too hot!

The resort was tidy and we had no worries here. It had such a relaxed atmosphere it really does wind you down.
It has no water sports at the beach so if you want that you willl have to travel into Lindos or somewhere like that but it's not far and cheap enough in a taxi.
The bars we were mostly in were, The Oasis swimpool bar, this was a great bar. The staff were good and we were talking with them every night and just next door is the Kelari bar what has live music on big screens most nights and outside pool tables and gardens.
If you want a snack in the night I would recommend Alexanders bar what serves food and drink and right next door is the Fuse bar.
I could name them all but we had no problem in any bar to be honest and the food was nice wherever we ate.
If you want a clean, relaxed and ejoyable holiday. Go. We will be going again in September 05. Deffo. Thanks for reading.

We think Pefkos is the best place. I challenge anyone who visits once to say they wont go again. The beaches restaurants and local hospitality all add together to give you a good holiday. over the years we have seen it getting busier so go soon before it attracts the lager louts.

Pefkos is a great place, friendly people, great food and weather brill.
The town is clean and there are lovely gift shops and supermarkets. Pefkos by night is great, they have about 11 televisions, and if you like football you can watch 11 premiership matches throughout the day.
The beaches are perfect, lovely sand and clear waters.
You can hire a car for 3 full days for 50 euro's that's well worth it, visiting Lindos is a must, and also Rhodes town. There is a bus service which is very cheap but not very regular.
In all a great place for a couple to holiday in peace.

Pefkos was a nice resort but it was really just a long street full of bars,resturants and shops. We hired a car and went out all over the island in particular to Lindos which is about 5 minutes away.
There is very little for children to do which is a shame, but lots of places to eat, we had some lovely meals in Enigma,Tsambikas and Philosipha, the latter has fantastic views of the sunset.

Pefkos is the perfect resort for safety and relaxing.
Plenty restaurants to eat in and enough pubs to drink in.
The beach is extremely clean. Will definitely return here.

Although 2 years ago we actually stayed in Kalathos we stayed a couple of nights at Ilyssion which is near Pefkos.
I really like Pefkos and it is quieter than Lindos. Some lovely restaurants and there is a small sprinkling of shops, although for a wider market head to Lindos.
Stayed in Pefkos twice before and have no bad words to speak of it.

The beach standard was good, not a large beach, the cliffs behind are close to the beds but pleasant enough. The beach is good for the kids as it is shallow water and the whole time we were their it was warmer than the pool which was on the cold side.
I would visit Pefkos again but not until my youngest child can swim, I didn't find it child friendly for toddlers. However I would hire a car and go exploring on the island. I would also say to anyone considering going to Pefkos or Lindos who have young children be careful as a lot of the places of interest are at great heights and the level of safety barriers etc was nil not one anywhere I went.
A note on Thomson's though, we were given a talk about all the events etc, be prepared they aren't cheap, an example was a trip to the water park on the island for a family of 4 it would be well over a hundred euros, we checked out Rodos Tours in town and go it for 96 euros. Another example was their Greek Night 42 euros per person, the most I paid for a meal for four was 46 euros, but of course they throw in some dancing perhaps that explains the costs?
