Fantastic setting.

All restraunts we tried were excellent with our dearest meal costing around 70 euro for 2 including desert and wine.

Boat trips etc all available if you fancy it but we just took to the beach (2 sunbeds and an umbrella for 14 euro all day)

Would be a fantastic base for golfers, we saw plenty who all praised the courses. We don't play so don't let that stop you going to Vilamoura its excellent!!

Matt & Elaine will be back

We have had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in Vilamoura, The peole are very friendly and helpful especially if you try their language. We were surprised at the greenery because of the golf courses. It gave the area a very lush feeling much better than the dry barren areas of the other resorts. There is plenty to see and do in Vilamoura whether its just people watching at the marina with their fancy yachts and cars or full on extreme water sports at the beaches or jeep safaris up into the mountains. We would have no hesitation in going back.

The marina was great for eating out in the evening, plenty of places to choose from. During the day you will have to take trips out of the resort for things to do such as the near by aqua park.

We love the Marina and have been there 7 times in the last 5 year. The beaches are gorgeous, you can walk miles on the white sand which which is very clean, with beach bars and cafes.

The Marina is quiet during the day, at night it comes alive with lots of places to eat or just have a drink and watch the sun set. There is also many very good quality restaurants in the streets and courtyards behind the Marina and are usually cheaper.

We find the Potuguese very nice people and very child friendly.

The Resort was very clean. Many restaurants with good choice. At night, the atmosphere was pretty relaxed. Suitable for young families and mature couples. Not even lively enough for a couple of 30 year olds!

For lunch or dinner there are numerous restuarants around the marina, the first is 100 yards from the hotel with a choice of over 50 within a mile. Everything from a top class restuarant to a snack type bar.

vilamoura is a great looking resort focusing mainly on the millionaires marina. it all looks very cosmoploitan and is fairly expensive, there are some good restaurants around the marina and rui's bar is a good evening.

Vilamoura is lovely - with something for everyone. A very wide choice of places to eat at all prices. Beach is superb. Vilamoura is very quiet in January - mainly golfer.
