The resort of villamoura is fantastic it’s beautifully kept and feels very much different to the rest of the Algarve. Spending time around the marina is a delight the bars and restaurants are excellent and it has very relaxing nightlife.
It’s great for families who aren’t looking for clubs and theme bars or anyone who just wants a couple of weeks to relax and unwind. Having said that its not dead there is plenty to do but its not like many resorts that are full of loud music and partying.
Villamoura is one place I shall definitely visit again with my family as the beaches are also fantastic with there golden sand and blue sea.
