Did not care for bingo - every evening at Charlie's bar. Shows may have bee good but started to late for silver haired surfers.

The resort is small and centralised around the harbour area with a few restaurants backing onto the beach. The resort is very clean and the workers are out at 6.30 in the morning cleaning it all up for the next day. The beach is generally very clean but when the wind blows a lot of seaweed comes in and tends to get put into piles to be collected. if this happens on a weekend it normally takes a day or so to be collected but on the whole the beach is clean and safe to swim. There is a slight problem with jellyfish in es cana but the lifeguards put up the yellow flag to warn you. A few people got stung when I was there but most people said it wasn't much worse than a bad nettle sting and the life guards have creams and vinegar to sort it out. There are a good selection of restaurants to suit all pockets from the more expensive (es pins, bahia es cana and las arenas) to the cheaper end (marvent, miranda, seas cafe) All in all a great place to go.

Es Cana is a small but lively resort, with a nice little harbour area where you can take boat trips down to Santa Eulalia and then on to Ibiza and Formentera.
There are plenty of bars and restaurants, some now look a bit tired, but there's plenty of choice.
There is a "Hippy Market" within walking distance every Wednesday from 10.00 until 19.00, but beware, many items can be bought cheaper in local shops.!!
The beach nearest the harbour is not very attractive, there is a better beach (Cala Nova), just to the North, about a 10-15 minute walk, but worth the effort.

Loved Es Cana, this was our 4th time and I am sure it won`t be our last.
Cala Martin is our favorie beach, we could sunbathe till after 7 at night in August. Great beach for snorkelling, we spottred lots of fish and Octopus.
Plenty of bars and eateries.

small but busy resort a real family atmosphere.lots of places to eat and drink. id reccomend the mar vent next door for good food and great service and charlies bar who had tribute bands on each night.the apache bar do a two for one deal at night on drinks but a kiddies slush there was a whopping 3.50.theres a mini fair for the young ones but that worked out expensive.the beach was small and in some parts a bit grubby but the water was shallow and warm so perfect for children. id definitely visit this resort again but in a different complex

Reasonable resort, some really nice bars on the beach, but quite a lot of bars dealing in bingo and televised football.Resort felt a bit tacky in places. The beach was nice and clean. We would probably stay in the resort up the coast of Santa Eulalia.

the resort it self was lovely although not very clean .the childrens play area in the bus terminous was disgusting cigerette ends everywhere, you would not let your child play there, the beach was lovely but they do charge alot for sun beds but they are expensive all over the island.

The resort was clean with plenty of bars all competing for your custom. Some offer tribute acts others just a big screen to watch the sport. Up by the hippy market there's the Bull Bar which has various things for the kids to do such as a giant inflatbale slide and a bucking bronco.
Es Cana beach was crowded in August and there was a strong smell and loads and loads of seaweed so do yourself a favour and take the 10-15 mins stroll to Cala Nova beach as its much cleaner, less crowded and a lovely place to spend a day.
