We have just returned from a weeks holiday at the Miami appartments 11/07/2009 had a great time hotel very clean excellent location and found the staff very helpful. Night life for a family was perfect. We were self catering the appartments were cleaned every other day and included everything you realy need. Plenty of supermarkets on sight.Would definatly recomend this hotel and would stay there again

Didn't notice any problems with cleanliness. Plenty to do on a night if you like English bars, quizzes, bingo, impersonators, music. Just past the hippy market, a short walk out of town is a small beach with a lovely Spanish beach bar with more chilled out music and a lovely place to watch the sun go down over the mountains.
Wasn't too impressed with Es Cana beach because it is a bit small and very calm but this would be excellent if you have young children. Walked ten minutes on to Cala Nova beach which was beautiful with more waves.
Resort excellent as a base for traveling around Ibiza. Very good bus services direct to and from airport, also into Santa Eulalia and from there anywhere on the Island. Boat trips readily available, 14 euros return to Ibiza town, excellent value for money (quite a long trip).

Lovely small resort but with plenty of bars, shops and places to eat. Beach a decent size. Best suited to families and older generation not a resort for late teens/early twenties.

A fairly small predominantly British holiday resort, we'd class it as a largeish village. It's a family oriented resort with enough restaurants and bars to keep you busy for a week although a fortnight might become a tad repeatative. There are boat trips from the centre of the village to nearby resorts or to Ibiza town. There's also a small "road train" which seemed to do a round trip of the surrounding local area, and the local bus service seemed to get you just about anywhere. There's an evening kiddie fun fair and a weekly hippy market, and the usual car/scooter/quad hire shops. The restaurants and bars are family friendly and most of the evening entertainment is geared around bingo/tribute bands/two guys with guitars etc. There are one or two dance type places open until 5 or 6am, but they're quiet outside, so they wouldn't keep you awake even if you lived directly above them. The beach, lined with a few beach bars, is sandy and there are loungers and parasols for hire. There's not much shopping except the usual souvenir and beach type shops, and a few small food supermarkets. There are enough restaurants to eat in a different one during a week. There are no lager louts and it seemed that younger teenagers were safe around the resort on their own.

The resort is really lovely. There are lots of gift shops, restaurants and bars, so plenty to choose from. The best restaurant in the resort has to be the Mar vent on the resort front. The food was excellent and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We ate there most nights and we couldn't fault it. Es Cana beach is lovely too but they do charge for sitting on the sun lounges, on the beach. Its quite pricey, so staying around the hotel pool was what we did to sunbathe.
Es Cana is lovely resort but quite small so I probably wouldn't visit again.

Stayed in Es Canar
A pleasant resort with limited, yet, enjoyable evening activities. Visit the fair (ideal for the kids), and the Kentucky Derby stall is Highly recommended, lots of fun for everyone.
A laid back and friendly atomsphere, somewhere I will always return.

es cana is a smallish resort with a good choice of bars. The beach is ok not very wide and popular. There is a small funfair open in the evenings. Most entertainment finishes at midnight.A bus service runs half hourly to Santa Eulalia and boats go from the marina to other parts of the island on a regular basis very Large hippy market every wednesday lasts all day.
