The hotel was absolutely spotless; the maids did a fantastic job, we had clean towels every day and they were very friendly.
The food was brilliant; there was so much to choose from and every night it was cooked to perfection. We were lucky enough to be there on Tourist Day and there was Tapas in reception, there was a beautiful display of food - we made sure we got lots of photos!
I really cannot fault the staff - they were amazing! The reception staff were so helpful (good luck to Erika with her baby!). The bar staff were so friendly, especially Cristian who never walked past without saying hello! Juan does the funniest version of King Karaktakus!! The reps were so full of energy and never stopped, keeping the kids and adults entertained throughout the day and night with the games and minidiscos! I'm quite glad I didn't win a superfamily t-shirt because Alex would have made me hail it! (you have to have been there!!) Alex, Lara and Sarah - you guys rock!
The entertainment was great as well, with everything from parrot shows to Supremes tribute acts to comedians (Frankie Reilly!!) and of course the fabulous rep shows!!
I'm going back to the Presidente again next year with my friend as I think it would be perfect for a first holiday!!

Couldn't fault a thing, food, staff etc all great. The reps were such good entertainers and taught us how to rave with 'big fish little fish'! (you had to be there!)

But apart from that....
To be fair the hotel was spotlessly clean. The rooms were very basic. Our room didnt have a particularly pleasant view but that didnt matter too much as we were out a lot. The cleaners changed the beds and provided clean towels everyday - they were very friendly too. As I said above the downside to the room was the airconditioning. I have never been to a hotel before where the airconditioning automatically goes off every hour. It was supposed to turn off after 2 hours, but hours turned off after about 1 hour - very annoying especially during the night. It was also very noisy. Needless to say i didnt sleep very well throughout the entire holiday.
I was most impressed with the food during the first week of the holiday - real suasages for breakfast!! But by the time the second week of the holiday had arrived I had had enough of cooked breakfasts and longed for a bowl of Special K! the evening meals were quite varied. Plenty of variety in the salad section - however I wouldnt call it healthy as it was dripping in mayonnaise and other dressings. We had some nice fish dishes during the fortnight too - salmon, mackerel, dressed mussels etc. I loved the spagetti carbonara that we had a couple of times too!
My only complaint about dining in the hotel was the extortionate prices that we had to pay for a drink to go with our meals - 2,20 euros for a bottle of water - thats over

The hotel is really clean and the staff work hard and are very helpful if you have any queries and rooms were cleaned every day.
We had rooms at the front of the hotel and were woken up every morning at about 6am when the deliveries came, also there was a strong smell of drains.
There was nobody overseeing the pool area and at times large groups of teenagers got a bit rowdy. Loads of inflatables in the pool making it almost impossible to have a swim at times. Avoid the pool area after 11am unless you want to join in with supersplash and whirlpool.
Drinks very expensive. Entertainment ok bog standard hotel stuff, men dont sit at the front during the drag show unless you want to be dragged up on stage! Hated the food it was really bland, one night they served a chicken pie with no chicken at all in it.
Loads for younger kids to do. Excursions very expensive you can get to all places on the Island yourself for a fraction of the price by getting bus to Ibiza Town/Santa Eulalia and then either another bus or boat, buses are cheap and reliable.

There was a downside as a couple of power cuts during our week at breakfast time was a nuisance but they were quickly resolved. In our room air con didn't last for 2 hours it was twice that.
Entertainment, who was the most competitive the kids or the adults? in our case the adults. Everyone tried their very hardest to win a t shirt some resorting to bribery. Didn't see too much of the night entertainment as we visited the irish bar on the other side of the beach. But what we did see was good (rep show) would I go again, yes.

We were half board and the food was great. A separate buffet for the kids as well. I'm veggie so found the choice a bit limited but apart from that the quality was fantastic.
Staff were very helpful, housekeeping all day every day so the place was spotless.
I'm not a great fan of hotel 'entertainment' - Robbie Williams tribute singers etc. Every evening there was this kind of act on!
I'm also not at all keen on overbearing reps telling me that I'm spoiling everyones holiday by not getting in the pool for Supersplash. What a cheek - here I was thinking I could do whatever I wanted on MY holiday! The kids reps seemed great (our little one was too little for the kids club - there was a creche but we didn't use it). However, I hate having my days regimented - 11:30 Supersplash, 12:30 quiz, 1:30 water polo etc etc etc. The reps (one in particular) were way too loud and bossy and she seemed to think she ruled the roost. I would be quietly reading my book by the pool only to be assaulted by booming music and shouting for the start of the days 'activities'. Other than that, this is a great hotel if you 1) have kids 2) like your every waking moment to be looked after by a Thompson rep.
I would go there again, but only for my daughter.

I am a Catering Manager by profession and i rated the food in this hotel as excellant. There was always plenty of choice and the restaurant servery areas were always clean and tidy.During our stay Ibiza celebrated National Tourism Day. The hotel laid on a lovely selection of Tapas which i thought was a nice touch.
Well done Crazy Kate and Super Suzy for keeping us smiling every day. The Thomson team work hard trying to keep everybody entertained although sometimes it does go a bit over the top. Supersplash every day at 11.00am is followed by the whirlpool i was happy just to lay on my sun bed and watch!!!!
"Cardiac Hill" yes it is a steep climb back to the hotel after visits to the beach and town but it only takes about 10 mins and is surely compensated by the stunning location of the hotel with its beautiful views of the bay.
Drinks in the hotel are a little on the pricey side and i thought the hire of the fridge in the room was a bit expensive.
Excursions are expensive and there is a touch of the hard sell at The Welcome Party. We decided to do "Slide and Seek" a visit to The Hippy Market at Es Cana followed by a trip to Aquamar Water Park. This cost 90 Euros!!!! and was the cheapest excursion. We could have hired a car for the day and visited both these attractions for just over half the cost!!!
Our room was at the back of the hotel overlooking the pistol shooting and killer darts area. We found the room very clean and adequately sized for the three of us. Maid service was excellant we had clean towels everyday and the beds were changed at least twice during our 11 night stay.
The family cabarets were hit and miss, The Happy Hippy Show was our favourite and The Parrot Show was entertaining but beware when this one is finished because suddenly you find a parrot on your head and a camera in your face!!!! Result 3 photos and a bill for 30 Euros.
Tuesday nights is The Rep Show well done to Krazy Kate and co for an excellant evenigs entertainment.

The reception staff were always most helpful. Pilar the Reception Manager has been there for 33 years so she told us. Emma one of the receptionists is a Newcastle lass married to a Spaniard, always helpful and no problems with the language. The other receptionists Erica, Alex, and Ivan also very helpful.
We had requested a room on high floor prior to arrival, but when we arrived we were on second floor, nice room with sea view, though a bit close to extractor system on roof of restaurant below. However 2 days later we were offered a room on top floor (4th) which was better for us with a beautiful sea view which was extra, but worth it.
The air conditioning which was in the price was very efficient. The maid service was first class, the best we have come across.
The restaurant was very pleasantly air conditioned, with more than ample choices of very good food, both at breakfast and at dinner. The buffet service gave us the opportunity to have a taste of dishes that we hadn
