On arriving at the Marte hotel it took us a good hour to check-in after being allocated our rooms on the 4th floor after requesting a lower floor as my son has cerebal palsy and does not walk and has a wheelchair we were not happy after getting into the lift bearing in mind there were only two which were a nightmare the whole holiday and waited one night 20 minutes for one. We arrived in our room which was basic but smelt of damp which was worse when the air conditioning was on and we could not be moved to a different room. I put my son on the floor to crawl around and the cleaner had obviously smashed a glass and not tidied it away and my son cut all of his knee i complained to the airtours rep and the reception they were not bothered and it took the cleaner five hours to come and clean it up.

The food was disgusting the scrambled egg on a morning looked like egg mayonnaise and all we eat for the fortnight was pizza which was like cardboard and pasta my son and my nephew along with many other guests came down with food poisoning avoid the chicken burgers.

It rained majority of the fortnight the hotels cannot cope with this every ounce of rubbish entertainment that was planned was cancelled when it rained when it was on around the lake you were bitten alive by mosquitos the place os rife with them and i think they are immune to the plug-ins we buy.

All drinks are watered down so there were no rowdy drunks but there are lots of tattooed chavs with the kids with braided hair and there wives having more jewellery round their necks and ears than h samuels there is nothing to do for the foul mouthed kids unless they are ten up over .

We paid 500 euros and hired a car and eat out every day around the island i would not go back to this hotel if it was free or my life depended on it words cant describe how annoyed i am with paying

the food was rubbish what you didnt eat that day you got served the next day with a currie sauce poured over it or somet like that

I cant belive that people can call this hotel dirty, while we were staying the resort was hit by 100 mile an hour winds throwing sunbeds in the air and blowing sand into the hotel, 5 minutes later the hotel was spotless again.

The food was good with plenty of choice with the display cooking and the cold salad and meats, also plenty of choice for a fussy 1 year old, the bar staff were a bit miserable but the entertainment staff and resteraunt staff were freindly and excellent with kids.

Plenty to do in the hotels with all the pools and the kids playground. Also good location and only 10-15 minute walk to beach and port or if you go the other way youll find all the duty free shops.

Rooms and balcony were small but who wants to sit in the room all week.

After a 9 month wait to go on this holiday I cannot tell you how dissapointed my family was with the hotel Jupiter.

When we first arrived the lobby of the hotel was filled with kids running around out of control not a good start. we had a three hour wait to get into our cramped room we even had to leave clothes in the suitcases as there wasn't enough wardrobe space.

The food was repatative and you couldn't get a decent cup of tea or coffee unless you went to the cafe down the road.we started to eat out in the second week added cost to what was supposed to be a cheaper holiday.

what finished it for us was when we had money and goods stolen from our room the hotel staff really didn't care.

The pool sizes were disapointing they looked bigger in the pictures and when you think that 3 hotels are using them they were very overcrowded and shady (not good for getting a tan).

We must admit we were concerned after some reviews that we read on the website before we went but there was no need to. 'full on family holiday!' Its all about the kids which is exactly what we was looking for. The kids were kept busy all the time there were quieter areas if you wanted to get away from the hussel and bussel of the 'club mac' way of life. I strongly recommed the kids village area if your kids are 6 and under theres a small shallow pool plenty of sunbed and you can keep your eye on them without getting them lost in the mass of bodied that are at the main pools. There is also a sandy play area for them when they get bored of the pool. Toilets are right there and not too far to walk! you know how it is with newly potty trained kids. The kids village also has its own bar that serves beer, slushed (Non alcoholic) ice lollies, soft icecreams and fizzy soft drinks. Its ideal area for small kids. When you need something to eat the mac burger hut is about 3 minutes walk and its all takeaway food that you can take back to the village. The whole place is very clean. There controls on pool cleanliness are very good better than I have every seen anywhere else. Ie if there is an accident in the pool they close it down until the pool is completely sanitized. All the hotel staff that I came accross where very helpful but very regimented. I think this is partly down to if we british had our way I think we wouldn't go to bed and they would have to keep serving all night. The entertainment was hit and miss we saw some good some bad and on a few occasions they repeated shows in the two weeks that we stayed which was disappointing. The location is not the best but there is no need to go anywhere else. The hotel does provide free buses to the beach all moring and free buses to the Port at night and we did go on those a few time but be early as they get very very full.

hotel was very clean.towels changed nearly everyday but our bedding was only changed once.the cleaners were very good.no matter what time of day it was there were cleaners around.food was ok but we got sick of the sight of burgers and chips during the day.what we didnt no until the second week was that the jupiter hotel had a full buffet menu on every lunch time 12-3pm which was great.

The location wasnt that bad either.it was about 10 mins walk to the town.lots of bars, shops ect. the hotel run bus to the beach was great and on a evening there was a bus to the port.if you walked to the port took us about 15-20 mins.

hotel staff were great.very helpful.not all of them had great english but if they didnt understand you they got another member of staff who did.

Entertainment-well.i was not very impressed with the entertainment on the first week.there just didnt seem to be anything going on during the day night time there was always shows on at the circus stage or the saturno stage.the second week there was loads of pool dances and games on everyday. Not only for the kids but the aults aswell which was fun.

i would never visit this hotel again or advise others to go.yes the hotel staff were great but we did have lots of trouble with our holiday.

For a star we were ment to get a room with twin beds in and we didnt we got to queen beds.not very happy as our kids are 6 and 11.1 girl,1 boy.the airtour broucher said there were dizzy and shades kids clubs and there wasnt.when i went down to see our airtours reps they were very rude to me about this saying they did do kids clubs in 2006 but not now.when i explained that i booked my holiday in 2006 and what was in the broucher was what i was expecting she carried on to say it was 2007 now not 2006 and that they had changed from having kids clubs to not having kids clubs and there was nothing they could do about it now.when i asked why i had not been informed about the change to my holidy booking she just said its not my fault but as i said its 2007 not 2006.One of the main reasons i booked my holiday as any holiday i book is for the kids entertainment.my daughter loves going to the kids clubs although my son does not like going.i felt very sad for my daughter as i had told her there would been kids clubs going on.There was light at the end of the tunnel thanks to the FIRST CHOICE holiday reps.i went to see them and they were only too happy to help (not like the airtours reps) and invited my daughter into there kids clubs with open arms (at a charge of 40 euros per week)What a great group of girls all of them they were so happy all of the time and had so much energy it was unreal.my daughter loved them.they done alsorts of fun stuff with the children (can i just point out if you book your holiday with first choice you dont have to pay the 40euros it comes free with your holiday)FIRST CHOICE made our holiday.my hat goes off to the FIRST CHOICE reps a big thank you.i will never book another holiday with airtours for a number of reasons.another one being we didnt get on flight meal that we had pre booked but thats another story. our next holiday will be with First Choice.I have already been looking on there web site for next year.

Well thinking back what spoilt our holiday is airtours.

I cant understand why people have complained that this hotel is dirty, when I was there they were constantly cleaning. In fact one guest complained that they cleared the tables too quickly! Towels and sheets changed regularly and additionally if you requested it. The food was typical all inclusive, but plenty of choice. Catering for in excess of 2000 guests cant be easy. The location isnt brilliant, but we walked into the port a few times, it isnt a marathon but it is a good 15-20mins. The Spanish staff were mostly good, some other nationalities were a little abrupt. Entertainment is the usual Spanish quality - hands up those of you who havent seen the parrot show lol. We saw it twice.......

As for going again - I have already booked, again with first choice mainly because its all inclusive up to age 16 charged as kids, and free kids if you book early enough. 6 of us are going next year in August, 4 adults and 2 16 year olds for approx

before we went on this holiday we read reviews by people that had been we also had been here twice before ourselves so when we read the horror reviews we were aprehensive , when we arrived about 1 in the afternoon we were greeted by two of the staff dressed as bellboys very happy and friendly straight from the off check in was as smooth as your gonna get when we got to our room it was spotless and was cleaned everyday if you want your bed changing you just place a card on the bed and hey presto its done as for the complex its self it was very clean, most times of the day if you wander around the complex you will see the cleaners working very hard to keep this place clean, food was plentiful and the choice was excellent the first week very good the second themed days included mexican ,chinese, italian, english, and spanish we went with 3 teenage girls and they had a fantastic time there is the snack bars around the complex also so there is always somewhere to get something to eat,the staff were very friendly and always on hand should you need their help the pools 7 of them and a lazy river were always clean the sun lounges were always chained up on a night when the pools close at 8pm to stop that person at 5am putting them out people still went down and put chairs out in the places where they wanted their beds to be the entertainment for the youger kids was from what we saw was excellent the entertainment on a night time was good but could be better the location of the complex is good also there is a bus to the beach which starts at 10 till 5:30 and then a bus to the port which starts at 7:30 till 10pm there is the water park across the road and if you buy the ticket from the rep in the hotel you can go straight in no need to queue up and if you want to got back to the hotel for your lunch you get a stamp on your wrist so you can get back in we had a absolutley fabulous time here our 3rd visit and would recommend it to anyone without any hesitation sometimes people are a little to fussy

Read reviwes and was not looking forward to my holiday.

I have 2 children age 2 and 6 and they both enjoyed the hotel, espesially enjoyed the lake and fishing with their nets although i have to say kids as young as 6 were left to wander around the complex unsupervised.

No problems with food plently of choice even my daughter who is a fussy eater had no complaints.

During our stay my children enjoyed going on the electric bikes which may I add cost 5 eruos a time, my son aged 2 went on the trampolines and there being a large hole went straight through head first ,luckly what could of been a nasty accident was'nt. After complaining to hotel staff and having video evidence we were told a manager would get back to us, 2 days later they sent a packet of 4 pencils to our room by way of apology not very good customer service.

We Have been on allot of Al Inclusive holidays and Reading the brochure thought this would be perfect!!

It was like a cattle market! Never have I felt so crowded before the pool was far too busy you would get a nice spot move some sun beds and have just enough room to feel comfortable when within an hour some family would move in on their lilo's and proceed to smoke 40 fags for the rest of the day!

The food was OK I do not eat meat so struggled to find anything apart from Salad all holiday.

The rooms were shabby not very clean and the balcony was tiny ours overlooked the water park. The biggest problem I had with the holiday was the noise!!

We are not go to bed early people but when we did go to bed it would not be long before people started to come back to the room making allot of noise with no consideration for anyone at all!!

I have never know such rude ignorant people and it seems to attract large groups of very bad mannered people.

The whole experience has put me off All inclusives for life and the next holiday will be a villa with its own pool.
