Location
Although there are 3 hotels in this complex, the grounds are large and well spaced out.
Food was great, and if one of the kids missed breakfast there was always something available for them somewhere.
Alcudia town was about a 10 minute walk although the Port is a bit further. There is a free bus however which will take and return guests to both the port and the beach on a regular basis.
The hotel staff were all friendly and approachable, and the entertainment team worked hard all week although sometimes there could be a bit more audience participation!!!!
We had not problem getting sunbeds - and didn't need to get up and the crack of dawn to fling our towels on them. By the time we got up, had breakfast and strolled down by the lake there were still piles of sunbeds available. We stayed there all day, most days and it was interesting to see how many sunbeds were reserved first thing only to lie unoccupied for the majority of the day!

The lifts were an absolute nightmare I think we spent half our holiday either in them stopping at every floor or waiting for them! Don't bother putting your do not disturb sign outside your door because the cleaners just come barging in anyway, this happened to us three times out of ten days!!!
Anyway, enough of the bad points there also a lot of good points too. This is the first time we have gone all inclusive and were very impressed with the choice of food in the restaurant, it was excellent and we always found something to eat. The breakfasts were lovely. The bars too, San Miguel lager and all spirits. I have heard some all inc hotels limit you to 1 or 2 drinks at a time but no problem here. The queues did get a bit long at nights as the hotel was full.
The entertainment for kids was brilliant, always something going on for them day and night. There was either a band or singer on the Saturno stage every night until 11pm too.
All in all it was a good holiday and will visit again but probably a bit earlier on in the season when it is a bit quieter.

Entertainment for adults wasnt very good but for kids it was really good my teenage daughter loved every minute of it.
Iwouldnt go back again but only because I dont like going to the same place twice. The hotel was very noisy the walls are paper thin and the rooms are quite small but you dont spend much time in them and it wasnt a problem.
The resort itself if you go into alcudia its really nice beach is fantastic and the marina.
Overall good value for money and nice hotel. If you have kids its brilliant if you havent do not go.

It also directly overlooked the hotel's refuse disposal area, so all week we had a great view from our balcony of the skips, bins and rubbish bags. These were collected with efficiency at 2.30 am every morning by a large and noisy refuse wagon, which we appreciated greatly.
As an additional treat, when switched on, the air con filled the room with the fragrant aroma of sewage. When we asked for the room we'd actually booked, we were told that the hotel had significantly overbooked, and we'd have to take what we were given. Lots of other people who'd arrived with us were in the same situation and the most popular activity for the following few hours was the complaints queue. Some unfortunate later arrivals were even shunted off to other hotels and self-catering apartments in the area, as there was no room for them.
The same night, all the power on the complex went off midway through the evening meal, which put paid to hot food and cold drinks, made negotiating the public toilet facilities a novel and challenging experience, and curtailed the evening's entertainment. Many guests, including us, went out to eat, and bought cold drinks from the local Spar - not something you expect to do on an all-inclusive holiday.
On the following day we returned to our room after a day at the beach to find that the aged toilet cistern had committed suicide, and was in the process of flooding the bathroom.
I could go on, but you're probably getting the picture by now....
On the plus side, the food in the restaurants was very good, with an excellent range of choices. The hotel staff were, without exception, friendly, tolerant and hard-working, and deserve to be paid at least three times as much as they probably get. There is also an excellent beach nearby if you want to get away from the hordes around the hotel pools, with a free half-hourly return bus service from the hotel. Local taxis are cheap and plentiful.
However, the main down side is the excessive number of guests. We estimated that there were at least 3000 people on the complex while we were there, most of whom were families with young to teenage kids.
The other guests at the hotel complex were a colourful bunch - although overwhelmingly (99%+) white British. Tattoos appeared to be compulsory for both genders (our favourite was one of the family pit bull, Satan, sported by the proud owner), as did the wearing of replica football shirts, shaven heads, beer bellies and second degree burns. The ability to consume alcohol all day and night, and to intersperse meals with 'snacks' of burgers and chips, hot dogs, etc also seemed to be desirable.
If you speak Spanish to the (mostly Spanish, though some Eastern European) hotel staff, be prepared for hostile glances, sneers and expressions of contempt from some of the other guests. And never, ever read a book in a public area...
As for us, this was our first all-inclusive, which has its advantages, but will definitely be our last ever visit to the Club Mac complex in Alcudia. We're currently pursuing Cosmos for compensation.
Summary: Avoid at all costs - except if you have a family pit bull

The food was very good always plenty of choice. The hotel did have plenty of variety. They did do burgers, chips and hotdogs but also did a vast variety of other food, such as jacket potates, carvery, salad, spanish, veggy, fish, all sorts. The drinks for the kids were branded, pepsi, 7 up etc. They could even get slush and chocolate milk.
The hotel was full when we went but we did not find any probs with q's. Staff we always cleaning up. We were also always able to find sunbeds.
Entertainment very good, something going on all day for both adults and kids.
We were there during the powercut. It couldn't be helped just one of those things, staff were very helpful and tried there best. We were on the 4th floor with a pram and had to carry it up those flights, but hey it was good exercise after all that good food!
We did not see people trying to drink as much alcohol as possible neither did we see lots of drunken teenagers.
The rooms also offered tv which had channels 1 - 5 and also mtv, sky movies, sky news, nick J, excellent for the kids, as adults if you don't want to miss BB.
Do not be put off by previous reports you will have a fab time!

the hotel is way out, however, there is a free bus during the day and night, taxis were no more that 5 euros to the port.
entertainment during the day is full on. evening is poor, with only 5 out of 14 nights worth watching.
my teenage children needed more, with only one disco for them, this needs to be addressed!!

overall i would recommend this holiday to families with kids young and old .

We had a clean room which was a bit small as we also has a cot put in there for our 1 year old.
Before i list the negative points I would like to say how much my 6 year old enjoyed the kids club and entertainment. The crech was also exceptional with the two young girls doing a marvellous job.
Downsides to the holiday: There seemed to be quite a lot of 'familys' who took their teenage children and left them to do whatever they wanted, one day we asked a few teenage children to stop swearing whilst sat next to us at dinner and all we got back was a mouth full of abuse. At night you could hear people running up and down the corridoors.
We stayed all inclusive but ate out 3 times ouyt of the week the food looked nice but the choices were not that good.
Also the snacks that were provided were just burgers and chips, not very healthy with 2 small children. I wouldn't recomment all inclusive at this hotel.
