We booked direct with Mac hotels and saved a small fortune on the cost of our holiday, over

I've just read some of the reports on the Club Mac Marte and I've got to say what a brilliant holiday so much so we've booked again for the 3rd time next year

As other reports that we had read on this site we were a little unsure about what to expect. The hotel was kept as clean as it could be, there was always some one cleaning up after other families had just left on the food on the table or on the floor as some people have no manners and didn't have any respect for the other diners there, which was a shame and very thoughtless.

The food in the restaurant was great always fresh and lots to choose from, the kids had there own selection too if they chose to use it, it also had a chef cooking fresh meat, pizza, eggs, sausage, pasta etc.

The location of the hotel was OK about 15 Min's slow walk to the beach.

Not many shops by the hotel but if you want to watch the football there is a pub called the britannia with the biggest wide screen T.V that you have ever seen, you do have to walk towards the beach area for the shops.

Behind the saturno hotel is the hydro park 19 euros for adults and 8 euros for kids in my opinion a fantastic day out on the slides and pools which are spotless and life guards all around.

If you have the chance I would definitely recommend the pirates adventure show in Magaluf its a little expensive but well worth the money you will be amazed.

Hotel staff did there best but its an impossible task because of the ignorant people not using the bins provided, rooms were cleaned regular and fresh towels every other day.

The room was OK for 2 adults and 2 small kids the only let down was the balcony which is a bit to small. First choice kids club was excellent our two kids could not keep away.

The first choice reps were very helpful and very friendly anything we were unsure about they had the answers. As for visiting this hotel again I think we will give it a miss that's only due to the bad behavior of some people.

Well I am back from heaven and hell.

All my party had food poisoning over several days. Food was very bad the same everyday fish or pork no taste to it at all, and reheated everyday until all gone.
Leftovers made another meal next day.

Entertainment not very good nothing for older teenagers to do and adult entertainment very poor Club Mac reps did try hard but did not know what to do when bad weather arrived. Also men beware of your partners some reps are womanisers.

Plenty of swimming pools for the kids staff did clean a lot also beware it is not 24 hour all inclusive. There is a late bar but we had to complain to get it opened and then only until 5.30am.

There is not a lot to do at the resort not a great deal of night life and shops all the same. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone and would not go back also First Choice reps did nothing all fortnight.

Long walk to beach and shops and the hotel was full of kids running wild and very noisy at night could not get a good night sleep.

sayed in he satuno which is 1 of 3 hotels in the complex its a family hotel which we through was great also stayed here the year before lots for the children and adults to do enterainment is very good staff very nice beach is nice and if after a hard day a the beach ha ha you can get a horse and cart back to the hotel which the children loved

When we arrived we were given a room with 2 double beds, I told reception I had booked 2 twins and a bunk bed but we compromised on one double and a bunk (Room 406) Lovely corner balcony loads of room with lovely views of the hills (If you blocked out the water park)

The hotel decoration was a little drab and was in need of re-decorating.

The staff were always smiling and nothing was ever too much trouble.

The entertainers worked really hard entertaining the children all day long and into the night

The food was great and you didn't need to que if you got down early enough, we ate at around 6.30pm every night and didn't have to queue once

My husband and I and our 4 kids have just returned from spending a week at the Club Mac Marte Hotel bang in the middle of the school summer holidays.

This hotel was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in, it was dirty.

The staffs were unfriendly, the food was disgusting and pools dirty, and some were closed due to excrement in the pool [Yuk].

My 5yr old got food poisoning and we was refused lemonade from the bar as we were 2 mins late, there was know other soft drink available within the hotel.

My son nearly sank in the swan boats as they took in water.

The outside snack areas were dirty and tom sauce bottles were covered in flies. The reps were very unfriendly and rude.

The kids menu was not very child friendly [squid rings]. We would not recommend this hotel to any families and will never go there again.

To try and be fair I think part of the problem for us as a family is that we have outgrown these type of All Inclusive hotels. Having last been all inclusive 2 years ago we thought as our eldest is 16 that we would give all inclusive one last go.

I would not try to put anybody off as I am sure that poeple who like to ensure warm weather and want to eat and drink for 14 days and are not too concerned with the quality of either will like the Hotel Jupiter.

The hotel Jupiter is part of a trio along with the Mars and Saturn (Marte and Saturno) which form a complex with a restaurant in each (all serving the same food). We booked a family room paying around 4K for the holiday (not worth it). The room was OK with a Double room and seperate one with bunk beds for the chldren. The balcony was frankly pathetic not only for the size but for the view you could not see when seated. We had Satellite Television in both rooms which was quite good. Another problem was the noise which was in part down to some ignorant holiday makers but mainly due to poor sound proofing.

The food was edible (just) but was mainly repeated each day in various forms. There was a chefs corner which consisted of grilled fish and meat. All the various types of meat and fish had one thing in common, it was tough and of a poor quality. There were snacks thoughout the day which consisted mainly of chips, Burgers,Hot Dogs, sandwiches etc and our children managed to find something to eat each day. My wife and I stopped eating in the hotel after a week and instead visited some fine restaurants in Alcudia which I must say we enjoyed. On the subject of Alcudia we thought the resort was very good and would not hesitate to visit again (self catering)

I cannot really comment on the entertainment as we saw little of it. The children did and they were none too impressed. One thing I would add that if you do not like noise do not go to this complex as sometimes it was horrendous.

I have seen some bad reports about the pools and lack of sunbeds. We did not encounter any problems and always managed to find one regardless of the time of day. There were also some grassed areas where you could lay a towel. There were a number of children with water guns but they did not bother anybody. Maybe we were quite lucky but there were no issues for us with drunken teenagers and in general all the kids were well behaved (this may of course be different on other dates).

Our main gripe about the holiday has to be the drink (both alcohlic and non-alcoholic). It was awful. The Spirits were quite franky undrinkable and the mixers (apart from the fanta orange) were unrecognisable as pepsi, 7-Up etc. My wife tried a Bacardi and Coke and got something which tasted of sasparila (we think that is what it was).

Again many holiday makers did not seem to have to much of a problem.

We have been going abroad every year for the last 10 or so and have now decided to stay at home in the summer next year (we will probably have a week in Cyprus at Easter) because we could not bear to book some thing and be disappointed again.

As I said earlier we have been all inclusive a few time and this is by far the worst standard of hotel we have encountered.

We overheard someone saying it was like Butlins. They were insulting Butlins.

One final point. The staff were extremely hard working and we have no complaints on that score.

The hotel is really busy in peak season.

The sun beds are squashed together and if you are lucky enough to get one around the pool be prepared to be splashed as a lot of the kids have water pistols which in my opinion should be banned as I saw a lot of the kids targeting sunbathers who were minding their own business and as you can imagine weren
