We had room 625 on the top floor overlooking the pool. It was perfectly adequate and not much road noise. A bit small but ok for 2 people as you don't spent much time in it apart from sleeping. Lovely modern walk in shower.

As we stayed all inclusive this was a relaxing holiday and to be honest we didn't venture out much, except to do some shopping and hosre riding which was great fun. Most days were spent at the beach which has very shallow water for quite a way out which my 2 year old loved! All in all we have a great holiday and i will definately return to this hotel very soon!

The resort of alcudia is lovely. Loads to do and would be great for kids becuase the beach is spotless and the sea doesnt get deep until a LONG way out. Loads of bars restaurants and shops and lots of british food places...KFC, Pizza Hut, Burger King etc

Alcudia is great if you want all the comforts of home. filled with many Brit pubs and entertainment. not the resort for the explorers.

Just come back from a 2 week stay in Alcudia and we've had a fantastic time. There is plenty to do for people of all ages. There are endless restaurants to choose from suiting everyones tastes and budget. The best places that we ate at were : Loro Verde - fillet steak
S'anforra - paella
Giardino (on the road into the port)-
Italian restaurant serving freshly cooked pasta
and pizza
For drinks on an evening we liked Oxygen bar accross the road from Astoria Playa hotel, amazing cocktails and very cheap drinks, very nice bar run by a lovely couple. We also liked Stagger Inn for the pop quiz, very good fun.
On our last day we ate at DC's bar also accross the road from Astoria Playa, very nice menu and the food was lovely.
The beach is the best part of Alcudia, I liked to go on at about 5 o'clock in the afternoon, it's quieter and not as many people in the sea.

As the hotel provided everything we needed didnt make the most of the resort but we took a walk to the Market which took about half an hour, The port area is lovely for an evening walk and is only about 10-15 min s walk away.

The Alcudia Pins is in playa de muro which is next door to Alcudia. Approx 5 resteraunts in immediate vicinity. We ate in each one at least once and they were all excellent. Prices weren't as bad as i expected either. Few shops around but can easily catch the bus further up the road which is a lot busier, Alcudia port or ca'n picafort. We did all of these and the Port seemed especially nice. Was worried about the mozzies before going but didn't have any trouble whatsoever.

Alcudia has a long wide sandy beach (about 7kms) it is never so busy you can't get near the water, in fact most times you can set up with your feet almost in the sea, great if you have small children. Usual shops selling souveniers and some boutiques etc, more at the port end though. Vast array of eating places although mainly offering english dishes. Beach is cleaned every night, so always tidy. Lovely to walk along the beach to the other areas of Alcudia. Old town of Alcudia has a market twice a week and is walkable.
