We had room 625 on the top floor overlooking the pool. It was perfectly adequate and not much road noise. A bit small but ok for 2 people as you don't spent much time in it apart from sleeping. Lovely modern walk in shower.

Beaches

The Resort was clean, it was nearing to end of season so i cant really comment on the entertainment as most places were dead. There were lots of nice restaurants to choose from and lots of bars. The beach was lovely but you had to cross a busy road to get to it so it could be dangerous for people with walking difficulties and young children. I personally would never visit this resort again and would not recommend it.

never strayed far from the hotel as have been to alcudia itself before so know whats there, there are a few shops within walking distance. We went for a relaxing break so didnt intend on doing much or going far. Never went on any trips as been to majorca so may times have done them all before.
As for the beach I have to say it is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen, went there every day as its only about 6 steps from the hotel pool area so you can just come back every time you want a drink or snack, never went in the pool. Plenty of sunbeds to hire if you want. Dont be tempted to take the beds from the hotel as you will be told to bring them back as a large group of people soon found out
For smokers who havent been to majorca for a while cigarettes are not available in shops anymore only proper tobacconists, there is 1 about 10 minutes walk away, turn left out of hotel to main road left again to burger king and its opposite
I will definately go back again the beach is a real plus for this hotel

Alcudia is very British orientated, not sure we liked this that much! The beach was lovely. This hotel is very good for access to all the bars and beach, thats the only good thing about it.

The resort suits all ages especially families with young children. Most entertainment seemed to finish at midnight. There are a lot of british bars. The beach is good and the water is very clear and clean.

Alcudia is lovely with clean streets all over and the only evidence of any litter was from tourists sadly. There's water everywhere along with trees so watch for mozzies & especially at the go-karts where they'll maul you if you stand still. They're no worse than any where else though in our opinion. Take plenty protection and cover up on an evening if you want to avoid the nasty bites.
We got a lovely surprise by calling in the Jolly Roger one evening to see a band called "
The amazing beach is a 15 minute walk with kids who want to be in every tourist shop on the way. The African street dealers are annoying on the main street but by two weeks we became good friends after an initial face off! for best results its best to ignore them or shout "policia" :)
The water is safe for little ones as there's a shallow gulley right along the beach and you need to walk a good 40 yards to reach the average persons swim level.
The sand is amazing for sand castles and we do hope everyone enjoyed our egyptian pyramid display one hot day, ha ha. The sand is cleaned & roughed up regularly. Beds are a rip off at 4.50e & towels do fine or roll mats in the shops are around 3e each.
There's a german hotdog stall right next to the beach which is great value at 3e & you can half one for kids too.
The hidropark was a daunting prospect for us at nearly £50 for the 4 of us but its well worth it if its a good sunny day. I must've worn the big slides out myself the day we were there. The slides are great fun for all with none of them too dodgy for those who are scared. That is except the helter skelter type slide which gave me whiplash as it tossed me around! brilliant but scary for those easily frightened.
The go-karts in the Belle-Vue complex opposite the Siestas are well worth 20e for the 8 minutes that seem to take 1/2 an hour. Go on in the wet if you think you can drive! I did & went on twice in a row as it was so amazing, power sliding round all the bends was just awesome so don't let the rain put you off although you will get soaked & very dirty. A good place to go if the sun doesn't shine!
Alcudia to us is a lovely place that was made for families. Unfortunately it was also made to empty your pockets too so take plenty money with you as the £1000we scraped together wasn't enough for us for two weeks & plastic had to be used sadly.

First time to Alcudia and found it spotless. Beach really clean and lots of space around so not very crowded.
only problem being the resort centre not the easiest ti identify in the new part, the port area very recognisable, but along at the new area took us 3 days to realise the street we kept walking along was the main part.
Water park in Alcudia worth a visit, not very big, but for 17 euros each well worth a day out there.

I have been to Alcudia 3 times-twice 10 year ago and this month. This resort is ok,there are alot of canals, great for people who like to take walks. If your fit enough, try walking the mountain. Beautiful view.
There is everything for families here, hydro park a short journey away, market trips to old Alcudia town and large beach. I really liked the beach as it is so big it does not seem so cramped.Water is clear. Warning though, there were extremely large jelly fish in the water- not sure if it was due to the time of year we visited but it put me off!! Downsides- certain areas seem to have a sewage smell- not sure if this is linked to canals. Also alot of mosquitos due to the canal areas. Overall- okay resort.

the beach is very good as it is literally steps away and it is much warmer than the pool itself. it is good as its not that deep for ages although you do have to pay for the sunbeds!!!
the resort it self is good although some pavemnets are broken.
we would vist this resort again a bit further into alcudia
