We had room 625 on the top floor overlooking the pool. It was perfectly adequate and not much road noise. A bit small but ok for 2 people as you don't spent much time in it apart from sleeping. Lovely modern walk in shower.

Alcudia is a lovely place and is ideal for families. Its very flat and ideal for pushchairs and the elderly alike. The beaches are lovely. There are lots of places to eat and drink and also plenty of shops for you to browse or buy things from.

I have booked twice for next year for Alcudia in the Playa De Muro area as I just think its perfect for what we want from a holiday. If you want lively nightlife go to the bellevue area, if you want somewhere a little upmarket go to the port where there are restaurants on the beach and traditional bars on the harbour or stay in Playa De Muro which is quiet and has the slower pace of nightlife. The beach is just to die for here and the sunbeds are the cheapest I seen to hire. For 2 sunbeds and an umbrella its 8 euros. In Menorca we were charged 21 euros per day. The buses are every 15mins and are really cheap. Taxi's are also reasonable. Can't wait for next year!!!

everyday the roads and pavements were swept clean.plenty off litter bins around. lots of restaurants have entertainment on and also kids play areas.the beach is lovely clean tidy and the water was like a warm bath.very safe for young kids.loads of shops but all sold more or less the same things not much difference in price with them all.if you stay by the lakes take plenty of fly spray i got bite about twenty times.

The resort of Playa De Muro is approx 5 kilometeres from either the Port of Alcudia or C'an Picafort and both can easily be reached by the number 2 bus which was very regular even running until 11:00 at night. Playa De Muro is a quiet resort with some restaurants of a good quality. There were not many bars as such but it was fine for families with children. The beach was about 150 yards from the hotel over a main road. The beach was lovely and the sea was very shallow which was good for our youngest daughter who is 5. The area of Playa De Muro is kept very clean. We will definitely be visiting this resort again

WATCH OUT FOR THE MOZZIES. The resort is full of them!!!!!! Watch out for the dog mess as well, they do not clean up after the dogs like in the UK. Like all of the Euro countries take PLENTY of money with you because its VERY expensive.

Alcudia was brilliant !

Beach was very clean and well served by food outlets. The sea temperature was always warm due to the shallowness close in and there weren't any steep drops so kids should feel safe.
The beach is also very long and you can walk around to the marina and see the vast numbers of swanky yachts and cruisers moored there.

Most tastes were catered for in the town in both food and entertainment but there was an absence of drunkenness which was nice to see.

Close to the Siesta 1 there was a riding school, crazy golf and go-karting track plus supermarkets and video arcades.

I would recommend Alcudia for families of any age range as there is something to keep everybody happy there.

Great place, not too busy but a good selection of restaurants and shops. The beach is superb, gently shelving white sand, makes it perfect for small children
