We had room 625 on the top floor overlooking the pool. It was perfectly adequate and not much road noise. A bit small but ok for 2 people as you don't spent much time in it apart from sleeping. Lovely modern walk in shower.

Alcudia is a taxi ride away or an hour or so walk to old town. There are some nice bars along the beach if you walk along toward Port D' Alcudia. Nice fish restaurant in Port D'Alcudia called Miramar, right at the end of the promonade. Old town is fabulous, we drove to the mountains, also fantastic as is the old town of Soller.

The resort of Alcudia is great. The only thing that lets the fantastic beach down is the lack of and state of the public toilets - as due to the apartments location you cannot just pop back for a wee. There is however a lot going on every night in this resort. We also visited the hydro park which was reasonable to get in but I would suggest taking your own food and drink as the meals and drinks were very expensive once inside. Cheers bar is great for the kids and very lively. Expect to pay about E3.50 for a pint of beer and E1.95 for soft drinks for the kids. Lots of great places to eat nearby - The white Rose next to the apartments very reasonable and great food about E8 for adults and E4 for kids (the every day Sunday roast is lovely),and Woody woodpeckers is also very good value with a discount card. Here there is everything you need. Only down fall for me was the long coach trip to resort from the airport which took 1 hour 15 mins. I wouldnt come here again as I never go back to any place I have been before but I would recommend these aprtments if you are looking for a cheap and cheerful no frills holiday.

There was loads going on in Alcudia. There were family bars, British bars, Karaoke, shops and the best beach we have ever been to.On the beach there were banana boats , Paragliding and so on.

puerto alcudia beach is a lovely clean stretch of sandy beach, there are plenty of beach beds and parasols. the night life is pretty good with entertainment to suit most, with show garden open air restaurants and karaoke bars. the only annoying thing for us was the never ending hassle of people trying to get you to eat or drink in ther places. the luna grill was good for grub and one of the chinese restaurants. the tivoli bar was my missus favourite. always had a job taking her home from it. the yummy yummy cafe was a bit rough and had an cockney eastender ex- bank robber bloke trying to get people to come in. we are sure we have seen his face on crimewatch. all in all its a great resort

Maybe there have been some nearby buildings removed lately as the area was not so run down. If anything it was being developed although not in an intrusive way.
A couple of good bars in that part of town but quite a walk into town.
Hidropark was just a few minutes walk away.

Play de Muro was just the resort we were looking for - the beach was incredible with white sand stretching for miles. Plenty of taxis/buses/horse & carriages if you needed them. Some great restaurants in the resort although our favourite was the Elisa restaurant as we didn't have to stagger far to our own apt.

This resort is fab for families with young and teenage kids. The whole complex is cleaned during the night and in the early hours of the morning. We joined in the daytime activities and had a ball. The animation team are the best and good fun. Have to say they made our holiday as we dont really like to lie in the sun.The beach is very safe and the sea shallow for quite a way out, no big waves, very calm sea. We have been to this resort 3 times now in the last 6 years. We have just come back after 2 weeks there in june and have booked to go back for 1 week in october this year without the kids for a break.
