We had room 625 on the top floor overlooking the pool. It was perfectly adequate and not much road noise. A bit small but ok for 2 people as you don't spent much time in it apart from sleeping. Lovely modern walk in shower.

The resort of Alcudia is quite pleasant with a quaint old town but is quite expensive, nice beach and some decent bars and resteraunts.

The location of the hotel was excellent and even though we enjoyed the meals in the hotel, it's not necessary to book half board because there were so many great restaurants around, with loads of choice.
The beach (only 3 mins walk) was beautiful - just like the photo in the hoiliday brochure.
The resort itself has a lot to offer, especially in the port area where the harbour is and also in the old town where the market is twice a week. The old town is especially nice in the evening though for a stroll and a drink - very good atmospere.
We would like to recommend the Robinson boat. This is a full day boat trip that goes from Puerto Pollensa (they pick you up at the hotel though). Great for families; snorkling, swimming, fishing, sun bathing, fab views, lunch and a bar.
We booked this excursion through the reception with No Frills Excursions, a travel agency that had been recommended to us by friends who'd been to Majorca a few weeks earlier. We also booked some more trips with them and would like to pass on the message - book with them and not your tour operator because they are miles cheaper. We had a great day at the Caves of Drach and another at Marineland - would definitely recommend both to families; interesting and fun.
We'll be back next year.

The location was superb as we were a stones throw away from a group of bars and restaurants which surrounded a nice little park which my daughter loved. The beach was convenient to get to ,the only down side being the busy road that needed crossing ,however the resorts traffic seemed to be confined to this road leaving the smaller ones very quiet. As a whole the Lagoon centre was great and even though the soft drinks and ice creams were pricey,we fully intend to return next year.

Playa de Muro is a lovely resort with just enough going on but not too busy. Plently of shops, bars and restaurants to keep you busy by day and night. The beach is outstanding too, as it stretches all the way from Alcudia to Can Picafort. Would certainly recommend the Oasis Bar for food, good quality at reasonable prices!!

Playa De Muro is a nice little resort with a sufficient number of restaurants and bars. There is a very busy main road that runs through the centre of the resort.
The beach is excellent, with a range of water sports on offer. You seem to be able to go out a long way and still be only waste deep.
I would not visit this resort again, simply as I like to try different places each time I go away. would recommend to other though.

The only problem with the resort were the pavements - death traps.
If they were in the UK it would be a claimers paradise.

The resort is lovely. It has a lovely clean beach. The sand is golden and sea is warm & clear.
The resort is lively without being too in your face. It is good for families & couples.
The harbour area is lovely with great veiws and the main area of Alcudia has lots of entertianment.

Alcudia is fantastic for families, the port isnt too busy and lovely to relax on a evening. the third week in june they have all kids rides, trampolines, bouncy castles for six nights and on the seventh the best firework display i have ever seen. Brilliant! I would definately reccommend Alcudia. Enjoy!!!!

Resort cleanliness - wasn't impressed at all. Lots of McDonalds wrappers dropped outside the shop and NO bins! However, I admit we werent there very long and this could have been a one off
Resort entertainment - gave this a 3 because we werent there long enough to check this one out so I can neither praise or dis it
Beach Standard - again, I gave this a 3 because we werent there long enough to check this one out and as there's not an option for "no comment" I went for the middle of the road option!
Would I visit again? No. Lots of places werent open for business - too early in the season? The restaurants we checked out only seemed to sell "something and chips"
