We had room 625 on the top floor overlooking the pool. It was perfectly adequate and not much road noise. A bit small but ok for 2 people as you don't spent much time in it apart from sleeping. Lovely modern walk in shower.

Quiet. Very smelly around rivers, near the bridges (sewage....yuck!!)
Restuarant choice and standard a bit disappointing. Playa de Muro is ok if you want a laid back holiday. Beach is quite nice but lots of sea weed on the 1 day we went on there. (Alcudia beach much better)

Visit the crepes man on the main street the crepes are to die for mmmmm.
We visited a few English bars but mainly went to the Piccadilly in the night time. Entertainment for the children, then a music quiz followed by karaoke, we mainly ate our meals in the Red Lion which was very good value for money too.

Alcudia itself has come on in leaps & bounds since I last visited about 10 years ago & there is a nice family atmosphere on an evening.
The Marina and the old town is a short bus ride away from the Maritimo but for just 1 Euro, you can't complain. A taxi back was only 7-8 Euro. For the adventurous I dare say you could walk the full length of the bay along the beach to Alcudia but I would guess this would take 30 - 40 mins.
Plenty of shops & bars & retaurants in Alcudia but I cant speak for the late night entertainment since we were normally tucked up by midnight. There are plently of water sports going on throught the day including para-gliding, banana boating and jet ski-ing.
Look out for the Mosquito's in June which were particularly active & had a couple of bites out of me!

We often witnessed the bins being emptied in the day and there wasn't a great deal of litter about. There was plenty of shops for souvenirs and supermarkets for snacks to eat and drink. There was a nearby water park and plenty of buses to other resorts not far away. We saw quite a lot of street entertainment from gymnastics to karate demonstrations. The beach was beautiful. Loads of sun loungers (for a fee of course) and plenty of watersports to watch or do. It was a lovely place for a weeks break away from it all.

The beach area was lovely clear water shollow for best part of 50 yards out.
Dropped marks for location cleanliness as a lot of big wheelie bins are left on the street all week and smell.

Been to majorca a few times before, but this was the first time I've stayed in alcudia. A great resort for families. Plenty to do, places to eat and drink and everybody we met were very friendly.
The beach is first class and only 250yds from hotel. Would definetly go back again. Walked to Alcudia market from our hotel, which is worth a look.
Beware, don't pay asking price for goods.always haggle over price and get a bargain.
Top tip:don't pay for thomson excursions when you can get identical trips down the road a lot cheaper.
We went in June and a number of restaurants had special offers for families to entice you in. Shop around. Great holiday resort.

The resort is very clean, and there was lots to do, we had a very mixed age group of kids from 4 to 17 and there was something for everyone. The beach was brill with a lovely breeze and lots of watersports for the teenagers. Alcudia old town was lovely and we went there a couple of nights.

The resort has very clean beach. The shops are mostly souvenier but there's bargains to be had.
Lots of restaurants with entertainment as you ate. Quite a few english bars, pizza places and chinese restaurants.
Went with 2 childen (12 & 9) some restaurants had play areas for younger kids.
HydroPark 15min walk, very good and not too high slides so ideal if you want a "softer" waterpark.
