We had room 625 on the top floor overlooking the pool. It was perfectly adequate and not much road noise. A bit small but ok for 2 people as you don't spent much time in it apart from sleeping. Lovely modern walk in shower.

The hotel is located on a long busy road and all the bars, shops etc are spread out along this road. Puerto Alcudia is about a 40 minute stroll away along the beach promenade which is much better than walking beside the main road. Buses are frequent and the bus stop is just outside the hotel. If you are going into Puerto Alcudia at night the buses get very full before they get to the hotel and frequently fly past so have a stroll instead, or get a taxi. You can get a bus to virtually anywhere from here, I would recommend Puerto Pollensa for the day. There is a large supermarket just over the road which has got the lot although the hotel supermarket is adequately stocked and is quite reasonable. The resort itself is mainly family orientated. The beach is a 2 minute walk away and is great for everyone particularly families as the water is shallow and there are lifeguards. The beach is cleaned regularly and there are plenty of sun beds (10 euros a day for two)or you can get some shade under a pine tree. My only complaint was the number of jelly fish so watch out. There are boat trips from the beach to Formentor and some other places that I cant remember (about 25 euros). To save you some time experimenting with other restaurants just go to Las Delicious. Its to the left of the hotel and about a 10 minutes walk - very nice.

We visited Pago Pago bar next to our hotel every evening as they had a live band playing there which we found to be relaxing and enjoyable.

We would definitely visit this resort again and would recommend to both couples and families.

So overall we had an amazing holiday that was faultless from start to finish.

Playa De Muro, lovely and quiet. Enough going on for a family holiday especially with young children. Close enough and excellent bus service to get you to the busier parts. Everyone very friendly and helpful. A great SPAR nearby which sold everything from baby food to alcohol. English baby food too!!

Fine place to go for a summer holiday. The beach seems endless and plenty to do for everyone. For restaurants and bars and nice walks in the evnings there are three areas to go. "Dollar street" that is Avinguda de Pere Más y Reus, streches inland from the beach at Paraiso de Alcuida.

Then Alcuida, the old fortress just 5 min in a taxi from Paraiso where you find the best restaurants. Then there is the port area, just above the port of course, 3-4 min in a taxi from the "Dollar street" There are little lakes in from the beech producing mosqitos in masses. I've never seen as many mosqito bites in my life before!!!

Hadnt been here before but would go again. Lots going on and we saw no trouble. There is a mix of people and generations. Prices in the resort are very reasonable and there are lots of places to eat and drink with a wide variety to choose from.

Something for everyone in this resort, great choice of eating places and would recommend Ola's, Agra Indian resturant and especially El Toro resturant with a free bottle of cava after your meal. Also the resturant nearest to ciudad blanca near the traffic lights called resturant Bel.
Port area is excellent with some good bars and great tapas in the side streets during the day.

It was a relief that Alcudia was a great place, we didn't let the bellevue spoil our holiday we only slept there! Venture out of the complex and it's brill. Make the jolly Roger the first place you go, its brill!

The food is lovely a differant special menu every night for approx 10 euros and Dave and Belinda on the sun terrrace made our holiday with the pirate and jungle nights for our girls.

We went there about 9 times! We never saw our girls when we were there they loved it. The Tivoli and Lunas grill are great too.

Really liked the resort itself. The restraunts we went to were all lovely, the only thing was the menu seemed to be the same in them all. I have heard that if we had travelled into Alcudia we would have got a better selection.

We went to the beach a good few days, The beach was absolutely fab. Plenty on sun loungers and Parasolls, i cant remember the cost but i know they were not expensive to hire for the day.

Also we visited the chemists a lot, the staff were very good and spoke great English, a lot cheaper than the prices in Dublin.

It is a great place for Families, I would not recommend it to single people or couples.

Arriving in Alcudia for the first time in three years I was pleased to see that money has been put into focussing on cleanliness, especially the canals.

This being my 8th time in Alcudia and Jon's first I was worried that maybe he wouldn't appreciate it as much as i do... How wrong was I! As a young couple going on our first holiday together I was pleased to see my old favourite things still as they were including the gorgeous alcudia beach. lots of bars and shops.

My favourite as always was Pacos Bugs Bunny's British Pub- here you will find lovely cheap food and superb staff! If you go to Alcudia you MUST check it out!

We have just got back and we are booking to go again next year
