We had room 625 on the top floor overlooking the pool. It was perfectly adequate and not much road noise. A bit small but ok for 2 people as you don't spent much time in it apart from sleeping. Lovely modern walk in shower.

Alcudia is fantastic for families with young children. The main road which leads to the beach is full of shops, restaurants and amusements arcades. There is a very relaxed safe feel to the place-which is great if you have babies and young children. You are spoilt for choice for where to eat, from chinese to mexican, spanish to italian, and yes of course british!Yes I have to admit the main touristy part of Alcudia does lack culture and is very british (which I wouldn't normally like) but as this was our first holiday with a baby I wanted to go somwhere that did feel a bit home from home to feel safe. If you do want culture and histoty, there is plenty to explore-at our own pace we hired a car and visited Alcudia old town, the roman ruins and the market. We also drove to Inca, Pollenca and Palma. If you go to Palma, as well as the main city shops, to the west of the city is a place called Porto Pi which is a good shopping mall to look round. It has normal shops (clothes etc) rather than your usual beach souvenir shops.

Alcudia beach is really lovely-clean white sand, plenty of space and very picturesque. You can walk along the beach promenade all the way to the port of Alcudia (about half hour walk) where all the yachts are. This place is very pretty and also has plenty of shops and restaurants.

Don't be scared to try the buses too, they're very cheap. We went up the coast one a few times to Puerto Pollensa and down the coast another time to Ca'n Picafort. We managed it with a baby and pushchair in tow! Word of warning though-the bus drivers seem to rush you getting on and you have to be quick and the buses are often full up so you may have to stand.Apart from that its a great way of getting around as these buses run every 15 mins and cost about ÂŁ1 eaach way.

We loved the resort, it was fantastic, and was very family and couple orianated as well as being clean, we walked up to the local market, a definate must, the clothes and nic naks you can pick up are fantastic, especially if you barter with the sellers, also a trip on Alcudiavision is well worth the money.

The beach was good, if a little disappointing, it was full of cigarette ends and needed a bit of a trail to get rid of the seaweed etc on the sand, but it was great to have guys coming around in the hot sun selling slices of fresh pineapple, watermelon and other fresh fruits! yum!

The bus services are very good. Its better to travel before 9.30 on market days. All the bus driver seem to speak English. Alucia is beautiful and the water is cristal clear. The sand is soft and sea calm. There is a lake by the complex. There are canals and small bridges all over Alucdia.

This resort is lovely - although the position of our hotel (Alcudia Pins) was rather remote and so there was not al awful lot on the near vicinity. However, there are buses and taxi's 'on tap', and it is very easy to travel to wither Alcudia Town Centre (about 15 mins away) or C'an Picafort (about 5 mins away). The resort catered for all ages.
The beach was lovely and extremely shallow for quite a way out, so great for small children and babies.
I def would recommend this resort to familes with small chilodren, or those holidaying with toddlers for the 1st time abroad - this report is ideal as everything is to hand!

During the day the resort was lovely. We found everyone to be very friendly. On the beach there was so many activities to do. We took a trip on a submarine vision boat. It had a clear bottom so you could see all the fish and jellyfish in the sea. The boat had slides on the back and it stopped in a lagoon so everyone could swim in the sea.

We found the resort was reasonably clean, some parts cleaner than others.

The beach was always packed with people, but it was clean and tidy.

The only points that we weren't keen on was the resort nightclub, which was tiny, it had repetitive music and it was over priced. We found a music bar which was much better and cheaper!

The other point is to watch out for people trying to sell goods in the street, they can be very pushy.

If we had our children with us I would visit again, otherwise no.

The resort was alright if you just wanted a beach holiday not much else to do especially when it rains as it did for most of our 10 day holiday. The resort cleanliness was very good but when it rained, the canals smelt like rotten eggs which wasn't very nice.

Eating out was ok if you like kebabs chips and pizzas. We went to Taz's bar for a meal but we wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The beach was brilliant also very safe for young children.

I dont think I would visit the resort again as its more suited to families with younger children.
