We had room 625 on the top floor overlooking the pool. It was perfectly adequate and not much road noise. A bit small but ok for 2 people as you don't spent much time in it apart from sleeping. Lovely modern walk in shower.

Pirates show which is a must, it costs around 149 euros for 2 adults and 1 child and is well worth it.
We hired a car and traved around and found it easy to drive over there they are very tolerant.
It's your holiday it's what you make it.

Playa de Muro although part of the bay of Alcudia is 2 to 3 miles from the centre of the Port. It has a lovely beach but shopping is limited.

Alcudia is a very large and sprawled out resort. Where the sea club is you are across the road from a few bars. Some are excellent for kids, cheers, and across from here the hawaian bar with swinging chairs from the roof. there is no loud noise so do not fear about not sleeping.A short walk down the road to the left , about 6-7 mins you come to another are with lots of shops and the bellevue complex. there is a go kart track there and a lot of the bars have their own playgrounds for the children. The english chip shop down this way is excellent and better then you get at home!)only went once though!)
to the port area would take you at least 30 minutes to walk/. You can either walk down the road passing shops and bars on the way or down the back of the beach. LOts os shops and bars down there and some nice boats!!

Alcudia is fantastic with loads to do for adults and kids.
Beach is lovely and the sea was so warm.Plenty of bars to choose from but be careful there are some proper rip off merchants out there so shop around.Women doing the hair braids on the street are a bit of a pain.We paid 45 euros for our two girls and it lasted three days.

The beach was beautiful clean white sand and a lady giving out slices of melon and cherries. the sea was clean and very shallow for quite some distance. There was a lot of litter on the main walk from the hotel to the port which was a shame.

Alcudia is lovely. Ideal for families and couples. It's not over the top with nightclubs and discos, but on the other hand it's not so dead there is nothing to do.
There are plenty of shops and bars within walking distance with reasonably priced food.
Remember to use the supermarkets outside the complex. They are much cheaper than the Spar on site.
The beach is lovely with lots to do and can be reached by the little boat or a stroll down the main street. Bellevue is a fair distance from the beach, but most days we went on bus trips or sat by the pool so it wasn't a problem.

I would come back again as we found it ideal for a family holiday, very few young singles in the resort. Maybe not busy enough for nightclub lovers, but for families we think it's great. Most bars and restaurants close by midnight so you get a decent night's sleep (providing it's not too hot!) Plenty of decent bars and eating out places. If you want to go into Alcudia it's only 1 euro per head by regular bus service. Location of our hotel was good as beautiful beach just across the road, very safe for kids as they can walk out for a good distance before it gets too deep for them. A thouroughly enjoyable holiday!

Thoroughly enjoyed Alcudia for the second time. Plenty of gift shops, supermarkets etc in the main resort area. Our favourite restaurant was El Loro Verde, not far from the little bridge that goes over the lake. Its not as cheap as some of the other eateries, but if you enjoy a really nice quality steak or leg of lamb rather than 'pie and chips', then i can completely recommend this restaurant. Go earlyish though as it gets very busy!!. The beach was stunning, with turquoise waters, and it didnt get any deeper than your knees for a long way out!!....Watch out for the jelly fish though, there are a few of them kurking a bit further out. You can see other little fish swimming round your feet as you walk in the sea. I prefer Alcudia to some other resorts ive been to. It is busier than Cala d'or, with more entertainment and shops etc, yet it isnt as bustling as Benidorm. I found that it had a good mix of cheap eating places, yet you could still get a nice steak or authentic pizza in many of the restaurants. I would definitely return to Alcudia, hopefully next year!!!.
