We had room 625 on the top floor overlooking the pool. It was perfectly adequate and not much road noise. A bit small but ok for 2 people as you don't spent much time in it apart from sleeping. Lovely modern walk in shower.

Alcuida was a beautiful resort, very clean. Lot's of places to eat and drink. The only problem was the touts trying to get you to eat in their restaurants, you couldn't walk down the street without being hassled by them - sticking menus in your face and forcing leaflets into your hand. If we wanted to eat in one of their restaurants we would we don't need forcing. For those of you with children visit the Peach Pit, a cartoon character entertains the children everynight from 9pm. Karaoke lovers will be spoilt for choice as there is a large selection of karaoke bars. Lot's of British bars and chinese restaurants. For the best choice of retaurants pay a visit the the Marina (4 euros from the bellevue via taxi). The prices may be a little higher than the bellevue strip area but the food is better. It was also a nice walk around the marina looking at the various boats.
On Sunday and Tuesday mornings there is a market in Alcudia old town - lots of leather goods, pottery, clothing and jewlerey. Well worth a vist, don't be afraid to barter, they will lower the price.
The standard of the beach was fantastic. You pay 3.75 euros to hire a sunbed. For 12 euros you can hire a pedal boat with slide for an hour - this was well worth it, kids will love it. The water was crystal clear and very warm.

The beach was beautiful clean white sand and a lady giving out slices of melon and cherries. the sea was clean and very shallow for quite some distance. There was a lot of litter on the main walk from the hotel to the port which was a shame.

I would come back again as we found it ideal for a family holiday, very few young singles in the resort. Maybe not busy enough for nightclub lovers, but for families we think it's great. Most bars and restaurants close by midnight so you get a decent night's sleep (providing it's not too hot!) Plenty of decent bars and eating out places. If you want to go into Alcudia it's only 1 euro per head by regular bus service. Location of our hotel was good as beautiful beach just across the road, very safe for kids as they can walk out for a good distance before it gets too deep for them. A thouroughly enjoyable holiday!

Thoroughly enjoyed Alcudia for the second time. Plenty of gift shops, supermarkets etc in the main resort area. Our favourite restaurant was El Loro Verde, not far from the little bridge that goes over the lake. Its not as cheap as some of the other eateries, but if you enjoy a really nice quality steak or leg of lamb rather than 'pie and chips', then i can completely recommend this restaurant. Go earlyish though as it gets very busy!!. The beach was stunning, with turquoise waters, and it didnt get any deeper than your knees for a long way out!!....Watch out for the jelly fish though, there are a few of them kurking a bit further out. You can see other little fish swimming round your feet as you walk in the sea. I prefer Alcudia to some other resorts ive been to. It is busier than Cala d'or, with more entertainment and shops etc, yet it isnt as bustling as Benidorm. I found that it had a good mix of cheap eating places, yet you could still get a nice steak or authentic pizza in many of the restaurants. I would definitely return to Alcudia, hopefully next year!!!.

Alcudia is very clean except for those areas which are not yet developed. These are allowed to become litter dumping grounds. The beach is difficult to fault in any way possible. If you have young kids, you must go to the Hidropark, I am a reknowned tightwad and I went two days running-absoloutely brilliant. Nearby Alcudia town is a must for culture vultures. Porto Pollensa is also well worth a visit.

God, what can I say. Alcudia is a fantastic place to stay. Excellent beach that was pure white sand and stunning views.
There are lots of bars, restaurants and shops to keep any partygoer and shopaholic content.

We would go to harbour area mainly for souvenirs and booze to bring home.
Harbour and shopping area both very clean, shopping areas have been pedestrianised so very shopping friendly.

Stayed in Viva Tropic Alcudia July 2005.
The resort of Alcudia is spotless. We stayed 10mins from the port. A lot of mixed entertainment going on all over alcudia.round the port is quite busy but relaxed, plenty of room to move about and nobody following you about trying to sell you things or get you in any where to eat or drink.
The music was easy going, outdoor beer gardens with acts on such as the Platters,Lionel Richie,Blues bros, or you could go to any of the smaller pubs with dj's on.
We had some very good nights in the Drunken duck, good mixture of fun for all. Games, quizes, our 10yr old daughter,18yr old son and ourselves all enjoyed it. Crazy dj.
Food of all tastes was available. From, Chinese,Italian, seafood and our fav was Tex-max, an american themed restaurant with burgers,steakes,ect.lovely.
We booked the Gran China for 8 of us 2days before going home as a last treat. Got a lovely table outside overlooking the bay. With a bill of over 120 euros we were all very disappointed with the service and the meal. We ate out almost every day and the standard of food was excellent so one bad meal was'nt so bad.
Sgt Peppers cafe round the corner from us do a great breakfast. Fry in a bap highly recommended. Kept me going all day.
The beach of Alcudia is beautiful. Around the bay is a bit seaweedy, bet the further you walk down the clearer it gets. You can walk out 200mtrs and the water is still only 4ft deep. With clear blue water and the fish swimming around you. The beach was very busy but we were always able to find loungers (3.35euros)further down towards the Bellevue end were all the water sports, banana boats, doughnuts, wind surfing, ideal for the teenagers and adults.
Not a cheap holiday but all in all a beautiful place for a family holiday and will definitely visit again

The resort was great. As it was between Can P'icafort and Alcudia it was a bit quiter than my usual holidays but still a very busy pleasant resort.
The beach was beautiful and very quiet and relaxing compared to the pool side. If you were up early enough in the morning at the front of the hotel you would see cleaning going on - the streets being swept glass polished etc.
