We had room 625 on the top floor overlooking the pool. It was perfectly adequate and not much road noise. A bit small but ok for 2 people as you don't spent much time in it apart from sleeping. Lovely modern walk in shower.

Beaches

The resort was kept very clean and tidy. The pool area was cleaned and hosed down every evening.
Kids loved the evening entertainment and the beach was superb. We all had a fantastic time. The weather was also superb!

Very busy resort and a bit smelly. The beach is beautiful though. Much nicer up the road in Porta Pollenca.

Alcudia reached all my expectations. It has the most fantastic beach (even my 14yr beach hater loved it!), the water is very warm and shallow and absolutely ideal for children. We went on a 2 hour boat trip and left all our belongings (minus the money) on the beach, I knew everything would be there when we returned!
Sun loungers are available for just over 3 euro, or take your lilo and towel, whatever suits you best.
The evenings are full of hustle and bustle, street sellars, little stalls selling trinkets, restaurants, bars, everything you could want.
Canny lad does and excellent english breakfast and warm welcome. Lunas, American country, are just 2 of many good restaurants.

Resort is a bustling and pleasant place. Busy road is a bit of a nightmare to cross. Plenty of buses and taxis into Port of Alcudia. Good bars and restaurants to chosse from Lovely clean and pleasant beach. Some good hotels there.

Alcudia has a beautiful beach which is spotless. The resort has plenty of shops and bars but we prefered the port area which has a lovely Marina and is quieter with some lovely places to eat.
The area is very clean and we would certainly return.

The resort was very clean except at night there was a quite bad smell every where which I think was coming from the various lakes and canals around the area.
The location was ok however we did spend most nights flagging taxies to go to Alcuudia Town or the Port as there was very little entertainment at night in this area it was mainly shops with the odd british bar.
I would not visit this resort again I would stay at Port d'Alcudia it was much nicer

It took about 15 mins to walk to the beach from the Bellevue.
The beach was tidy but some people left cigarettes lying on the sand. You had to get a ticket for the sunbeds at the beach. Luckily enough some kind people gave us their tickets as they were leaving.
You couldn't turn a corner without people asking you if you wanted your hair braided-this could cost up to 30 euros! There were also 'lucky' men selling cheap sunglasses and chains.
All of the little souvenior shops were nice to go into. The 'Pancake man' was fun to watch -didn't realise there was as many fillings to put in pancakes!!!
Strawberry, ice-cream and cream was DELICIOUS! There were lots of nice restaurants. We particulary enjoyed Luna's and Shanghai Gardens. In many of the restaurants you could get a 3 course meal for 8 euros.
At times there is a terrible smell in the area. Don't know where it came from! Alcudia is a family orientated resort. Would go again.

THE RESORT:
After reading that Alcudia was like Blackpool, I was terrified! Admittedly, Alcudia is very much a family-oriented resort.
I think we went at quite a good time of year 31st july till 10 august. It was just a nice temperature about 31c 32c and started to to rain the day we left.
There was a slight smell of sewage during our stay, but it wasn't all the time and was usually at its worst on hot days or just early evening, we never noticed it later at night.
THE RESTAURANTS:
Yes, there is a KFC, Burger King and Pizza Hut, but if you look, there are some quite nice restaurants.
As you walk down the road on the left-hand side, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from one called big ben tavern (which isn't too far down the road and is on a corner) we found the staff very friendly and helpful.
they do meal deals for 8 euros which is a starter main meal and desserts.
We went to one Chinese for tea - 'Casa Del Dragon'. It's at the end of the road to the beach, on the right hand side. They have an excellent dinner menu - 3 courses for 10 euros (£7)!!! I think they keep the menu fairly simialr, maybe change a couple of things, but when we went, I had prawn toast to start (my boyfriend had a spring roll), his mum and sister had bbq spare ribs and for main meal we had prawn chop suey, chicken sweet and sour special chow main and beef curry we had ice-cream for dessert and my boyfriend and his mum had coffee. The portions were very good for the money and all we had to pay for separately was our drinks, and with the meal, Also - all the meals were delicious.
